My Personal Experiences
Quick and Dirty Fun for All Levels
This under bed restraint system is everything I hoped it would be! It’s super easy to use and was a whole lot of fun! Once strapped in, your movements are definitely limited, but you can still move a little, which I actually liked. It’s strong enough to withstand some tugging and squirming and the wrist and ankle cuffs are comfortable to wear. You can choose between having your wrists and ankles at the top/bottom of the bed or out to the sides. I preferred the latter as it leaves your body much more open to all sorts of stimulation — a wand vibrator is a great addition here! As well as being non-intimidating for the one being restrained, this system is pretty easy for the one doing the restraining — the velcro cuffs are so easy to put on and they only need to pull the strap to tighten your body to the bed and wow, is that bit exciting!

The design of the Sportsheets Under the Bed Restraint System is pretty neutral, which I think is ideal for something like this! The straps are all black with silver buckles attaching the cuffs to the straps. There is a central strap that sits lengthways under your mattress and four connector straps with restraints that come out from each corner of your bed. You can choose to have your restraints coming out at either end of the bed or around the sides, depending on what you plan on doing. Both sets of cuffs are detachable, so you can use them separately, and although these are 'under bed restraints,' you can also get creative with how you use these — you could slip them around a door for example or over a beam.
Ease of Use
This has to be the easiest way to transform your bed into a bondage bed! It took less than two minutes to get the restraints in place. The restraints themselves are made of velcro, so they are super easy to get on and off and you can always find the perfect fit. I found it easiest to loosen the straps while you get into place, and once the wrist and ankle cuffs are on, you can go ahead and tighten the under bed straps that keep you tight to the bed frame. The straps are also easy to adjust and don't require any fiddling around or great force.
Quality
The Sportsheets Under the Bed Restraint System wrist and ankle cuffs are lined with a soft, slightly fluffy material, which makes them super comfortable to wear! They can take a bit of tugging but they aren't designed for heavy duty play and are best suited to light bondage. The straps are fairly strong but the slide buckles are made of plastic, so they aren't invincible! The restraints are also covered by the Sportsheets limited lifetime warranty, meaning Sportsheets (at their discretion) will replace your restraints with the new a set (or similar product) if there is a mechanical failure or a manufacturing defect.
Price
There are cheaper bed restraint systems out there, but I do think the Sportsheets restraints are great quality. The soft lining of the straps makes them extremely comfortable to wear for extended amounts of time and the set feels pretty sturdy. That being said, if you are looking for something heavy duty, this won't be the best option for you.
Performance
The Sportsheets Under the Bed Restraint System lived up to my expectations. It was quick to install, super easy to use, and provided a decent amount of restraint! The wrist and ankle restraints held well and were comfortable even with a considerable amount of movement. I would definitely say this falls into the category of light bondage as you could move around a bit and you would be able to free yourself if necessary, but I think that's kind of the charm of this set — it's low risk, high fun!
Packaging
The Under the Bed Restraint System comes in a sturdy box. The design of the packaging doesn't do a lot for me. I don't like that it only features pictures of sexy women in underwear being restrained and dominated. I would love to see a bit more balance or gender neutrality. The front of the box is a magnetic cover that you can open, which reveals the almost exactly the same photo as on on the front of the box, just bigger and from a different angles. This is a huge waste of materials in my opinion! That being said, I really liked that there was no plastic at all in the package. The back of the box also has some handy images for the two different ways to use the restraints.
Materials and care
I absolutely love that these restraints are machine washable! So easy to care for and keep clean. It also helps that they are so easy to install and take out. No excuses for dirty restraints here — dirty minds only!

Whether you are just getting into bondage or want some quick and easy, travel-friendly set of bed restraints, I can highly recommend the Sportsheets Under the Bed Restraint System. It's super user friendly, versatile, and incredibly exciting. If you are looking for more extreme restraint, these aren't going to fulfil that desire as you can still move and get out of these restraints, but if you are looking for light bondage, these are a fantastic option!
