Personal Experience
A Timeless Beauty?
The Sportsheets Red Lace Corsette Strap-On Harness has been on my radar since I first came across a few years ago. At the time, it was the first strap-on harness I had even seen that had more of a feminine design. That really appealed to me, since I didn’t think I would feel comfortable or sexy in a harness with a neutral design. Since then, I have seen other types of strap-on harnesses with a more feminine expression. There are a lot of good ones out there! Now, that I finally had the chance to test out the one I had been eyeing for a long time, I was so excited! Unfortunately, when it arrived and I tried it on for the first time, it just didn’t look as elegant or sexy as I had imagined. Perhaps it’s the slight padding in the fabric panels that make it look more bulky than it looks elegant. Maybe I’m just not a fan of that particular shade of bright red. For the first time, I was also able to see the pattern in the red lace, and it just didn’t look that pretty to me. So, for me personally, I wasn’t feeling as sexy as I had hoped to feel while wearing it.Looks Aren’t Everything!
Now, design aside, I still took note of some pretty great pros about the Sportsheets Red Lace Corsette Strap-On Harness. As a plus-sized girlie, I was delighted to be using a strap-on harness that had an impressive range of adjustability. Not only were the straps super easy to customize, the corset-style design in the back allows you to tighten or loosen the harness even more! Points for size inclusivity! Even though the padded fabric panels weren’t necessarily elegant to look at, they were super comfortable to wear. The pieces of fabric on the sides of the nylon straps also helped avoid any ‘digging in’ or chafing. I also really liked the addition of a small pocket for a bullet vibrator on the front panel. I like that the Sportsheets Red Lace Corsette Strap-On Harness is a sexy and feminine take on a traditional strap-on harness with adjustable straps. As someone who didn’t feel very sexy in more neutral and chunky strap-on harnesses in the past, this design offers a great alternative. That said, I was a bit disappointed with what it looked like in real life. Maybe the color is just a bit too bright for my taste. I also think the material looks a bit more cheap than it does in the photos. So, while I enjoy the corset-style design, I would have preferred the overall look to be more sleek and elegant.
Ease of Use
The straps on the Sportsheets Red Lace Corsette Strap-On Harness actually have good adjustability. They’re easy to tighten or loosen while the harness is on. Once you figure out where your legs go, putting it on is also pretty smooth sailing. The only thing that is a bit tiresome is having to open all four snap-buttons to change the o-ring.
Quality
I have to admit that I’m not blown away by the quality of this harness. While I know that Sportsheets has some good quality items, it can be a bit hit or miss depending on the type of product. Still, it’s a decent harness that’ll get the job done. It’s just not a high quality product.
Price
For a strap-on harness with a novelty design and three different sized o-rings, I think the price is pretty good! It’s a good budget-friendly option for those who are looking for a very sexy and feminine strap-on harnesses that still offers a wide range of adjustability.
Performance
I didn’t feel like the Sportsheets Red Lace Corsette Strap-On Harness gave me the best control over the dildo. Even though the straps are easy to adjust, they were a bit difficult to keep tight, in my experience. So I did have to keep tightening the straps every now and then during thrusting.
Packaging
Just like most other products from Sportsheets, this harness came in a cardboard box with images of the product modeled on the front. Then there’s some additional information about the product itself and how to use it on the sides and the back. It didn’t come with a storage bag, which is understandable, but I always prefer having one!
