About The SquarePegToys Nathan
The Nathan Actual Size is a realistic, platinum silicone dildo cast from a real, circumcised penis (which apparently belongs to a guy named Nathan). It comes in a variety of sizes (actual size or 1X) and colors (bronze, chestnut, or graphite). There is also a harness base option with several options to choose from. The Nathan reviewed here is a standard base (which means that it includes testicles and no suction cup), actual size, in chestnut.

Personal Experience
There is nothing quite like that first moment of penetration. Breath catches. A shiver ripples. A heartbeat lingers. And for that moment the rest of the world disappears. As I went to work on her with Nathan, her body responded instinctively- her eyes closed, her head tipped back, and her breathing became quick and intense. As the sensation grew, she pushed herself down onto my hand with purpose and intention. After we were done, when she finally opened her eyes, she murmured with what sounded like a hint of surprise, “I had no idea it was going to feel so much like the real thing!” And until I first penetrated her with our new Nathan Actual Size, neither my wife, nor myself, had any idea you could have that experience with a dildo. It caught us both completely off guard and changed the way we thought about sex toys ever after. Knowing no better, previous experiences each of us had with sex toys had been with toys of unfortunate quality. They had always been more of a novelty- a fun idea, but one that never lived up to expectation. This had tempered our expectations to the low side without us even realizing it. Nathan was our first experience with a toy of better quality, and it opened our eyes to a world we had previously written off. After this experience, we were both open to more exploration. It hasn’t replaced our normal lovemaking- just added another dimension to it!
Design
The Nathan Actual Size is easy on the eyes. Some dildos are just plain creepy looking. Not the Nathan. Cast from a real body, it is an ultra realistic dildo with an authenticity that feels both familiar and inviting. It’s the kind of design that doesn’t just look good—it’s meant to be enjoyed. Classically proportioned, with a gentle curve and a pleasantly tapered head, it’s just a really nice looking dick!
Ease of Use
Pretty straight forward. We were able to figure it out without even reading the instructions. Actually, there were no instructions… 🤣 That said, don’t forget a healthy dose of lube! Warming (carefully) before use is also a good idea. A quick soak in a warm water bath works well for this. Simple, intuitive, and easy to incorporate, the Nathan is as effortless to use as it is enjoyable.
Quality
According to the Square Peg website, the Nathan is made in the USA from platinum grade silicone. After handling cheaper toys, I can say that the Nathan feels good in the hand. And my wife says that he feels pretty good somewhere else!
Price
Middle of the road pricing makes it an easy purchase, especially for a first timer. Dildo shopping can be intimidating if you are not sure what you are looking for. High quality dildos can get really expensive. Cheap dildos are unsatisfying and not worth the bother. The Nathan strikes a great balance of high quality at a reasonable price.
Performance
The Nathan Actual Size performs exactly as you’d hope—comfortable, natural, and easy to use. Its balance of firmness and flexibility makes for a smooth experience (pun absolutely intended!), and the realistic design adds to the overall effect. It feels intuitive and reliable, making it a great addition to any collection.
Packaging
Receiving the Nathan was a truly unique experience. It arrived in a nondescript brown box without a bunch of extra packaging. Square Peg Toys shop-at-home program allowed us to “preview” several options (which were sealed in tamperproof but flexible packages upon arrival) before making our selection and sending the other back. We were reassured by the fact that had the packaging been opened or damaged in any way, the return unit would not have been accepted. It was this shop-at-home experience which initially drew us to Square Peg Toys in the first place, as we had limited experience and truly no idea what we were actually looking for.
Materials and care
According to their website, “Everything made by SquarePegToys is crafted entirely in the USA from only US sourced, 100% Platinum Grade Silicone. They suggest storing their toys upright to avoid creasing or indentions. They note that it is important not to store the Nathan with, or near, any vinyl or rubber due to potential interactions which could damage your platinum silicone. Beware of non-body safe materials some other toys can be made with, such as PVC (a form of vinyl). Additionally, they suggest simply washing them with soap and water in order to clean them, though the type of soap they recommend varies with the type of lube used. For oil or silicone lubes, dish washing detergent is suggested. For a more robust cleaning process, boiling, baking (see website for instructions), or a 10% bleach bath are suggested as options. It is interesting to note that while most silicone toy manufacturers warn against using silicone lube, SquarePegToys states that their toys are perfectly compatible with silicone lube.
