My Verdict
I really like the Tantus Charmer as an anal dildo, and think it's well worth the investment. If you are looking for a dildo to use vaginally, bear in mind that, unlike many dildos, the shaft get's narrower towards the base, so you might not get that full feeling with the whole dildo inserted. You can use the tip for some good g-spot stimulation though.

Reflections on the Tantus Charmer
I was attracted to the lovely shimmering lavendar color of the Charmer and the fact that it was made by Tantus, who are known for their high-quality silicone. I initially bought it for vaginal use but soon figured out I much preferred it for anal use, so it was transferred to my anal toys drawer! I find the firm but flexible silicone and the shape are much better suited to anal play, for me at least! The slightly larger head and slimmer shaft feel great anally, but left me wanting a fuller feeling when using vaginally. The ridges have the slight feel of anal beads, as the shaft is inserted but not as intense, and they add some subtle stimulation while the toy is inside as well. I’ve had the Tantus Charmer for a few years now and still find myself reaching for it on the regs, which is a definite win in my books! The only downside in my books is the lack of a suction cup base.

The shaft is wider at the top and slightly narrower at the base with four gentle ridges and a slight curve. It's made in Tantus' glossy finish, which makes it lovely and smooth, especially with a slick of water-based lubrication.
User-Friendliness: A Deep Dive into the Tantus Charmer
The Tantus Charmer is pretty easy to use, although it doesn't have a suction cup base, which would open up a whole more options for positions and hands-free riding. The other thing to bear in mind is that the widest part of the dildo is at the head and not the base, so you are inserting the largest part first.
Analyzing the Quality of the Tantus Charmer
Tantus are known for making high-quality silicone sex toys using their own 100% Ultra-Premium Silicone formula and the Charmer certainly lives up to their high standards. I've had this dildo for a couple of years and has been boiled many times since I bought it and there are no signs of damage or wear.

I think this is a very reasonable price for a high-quality silicone dildo that is made to last. I was disappointed it didn't come with a storage bag though!

The ridges on the Tantus Charmer are relatively subtle — they are pronounced enough to that you can feel them without being too intense. I found this most pleasurable when used anally, as I can feel the ridges moving in and out a little more. The silicone is relatively firm with some flexibility but it's definitely on the more firm end of the scale.

Unfortunately, I threw out the packaging when I bought the Tantus Charmer a while ago, but from what I remember, it was very basic and came in clear package, so be sure to open it in private!

As the Tantus Charmer is made from 100% silicone, you can wash it with warm water and mild, unscented soap. You can also boil it to sterilize it. Once clean, dry it thoroughly and store it in a clean bag or box. You should also use a generous slick of water-based lube with the Charmer — it helps the glossy silicone slide smoothly and feels amazing!
