Design

The Tracey Cox EDGE Automatic Suction Penis Pump is very minimalistic in its appearance. The pump is sleek, rounded, and ergonomic to hold in one's hand. The feeling of the pump around one penis is intense, and is more than capable at achieving a perfect seal to ensure a vacuum is created. This allows for the intense rush of blood flow to the penis. The Tracey Cox EDGE Automatic Suction Penis Pump does not look luxurious or fancy, but in this case I think it edges out (pun intended), over other penis pumps that try to accomplish too much aesthetically. The design is incredibly functional, with the convex top that serves as the handle when you are holding it over your penis, and the conveniently placed buttons within fingers reach when in your grasp.

Ease of Use

The Tracey Cox EDGE is incredibly friendly and easy to use. There are two buttons on the main module located at the top of the pump. One of which is a power button, and the other is the "pause/release" button. Pressing the power button turns the toy on, and pressing it once more cycles through the low, medium and high modes the pump offers. Meanwhile, the "pause/release" button does exactly that. It pauses the suction or releases the pressure built up in the main chamber of the pump. I do not believe that this pump would be suitable for someone with mobility or grip issues, seeing as the main unit must be gripped in one's hand/palm and operated primarily with the thumb of the corresponding hand. There should be little to no learning curve due to the simple nature of the toy and its 3 levels of suction and 2 operational buttons, making it a very user-friendly toy for beginners.

Quality

It feels incredibly sturdy and well-made and is incredibly reliable when in use. The rigidity of the plastic see through walls stands tall and unwavering during use, making your penis pumping and viewing experience of the utmost excellence. The main unit is a soft, velvety, matte rubber finish that provides a soft and pleasant textural experience while holding it in your hand, controlling the pressure with which one is pumping their penis. Since the Lovehoney X Tracey Cox EDGE Automatic Suction Penis Pump is a pump, it creates a vacuum around the penis using a battery powered motor. Despite the use of its electric motor it is extremely quiet allowing for discreet use during play.

Price

I do strongly believe that the Tracey Cox EDGE pump is worth its price. Being listed on Lovehoney at $99.99 USD, this is a bargain considering most penis pumps of this variety range upwards of $119. While the price is appealing, not much comes with the Penis Pump beside the staple accessories and informatics. With the toy, you receive an instructional guide on how to use the pump, an informational pamphlet detailing information regarding External Penile Rigidity devices, a silicone performance base, and a ribbed pleasure base, as well as the USB-C charging cable.

Performance

With an average of 4.4/5 stars directly on Lovehoney's website, my personal rating of 4.7 does not deviate far from the mean. Most seem to enjoy the low price point, the ease of use with the simplistic 2 button design, as well as how quite the toy is during use. The Tracey Cox Penis Pump does not have any vibrations, so I can not speak on that aspect of the pump as it is not included as a functional feature within the toy. The pump was incredibly quiet when being used and only produces a medium-pitched whining noise from the motor. When using, I did not feel the battery In the main unit of the pump overheat or get hot at all, making it very safe to hold and have long play sessions. The battery life is 3 hours, which is incredibly long for penis pumping sessions as it is recommended to not exceed 10 minutes. The pump recharges over a 2-hour window for a full 3-hour battery life.

Packaging

The packaging is very modern and simplistic. It features a black and blue matte textured box with black and white lettering. The pump itself is featured on 2/4 sides of the box as well. The matte box is juxtaposed with the shiny, glossy textures of the Pump itself on the box, making it reflective and stand out. I personally do like the design as I believe it accomplishes the main goal which is highlighting the toy as the forefront of the box design, and although leaning more towards the discreet side of things, its sheer size makes it incredibly noticeable. The box does provide some instructions on how to use the pump on one side, stating to put your penis inside, press a button and lie back and enjoy". Materials and care

This toy is made of body-safe silicone and plastic. The two silicone bases included with the Tracey Cox pump are both incredibly lightweight. The only heavy part of the Lovehoney X Tracey Cox EDGE Automatic Suction Penis Pump is the main unit itself where the control buttons are as that houses the battery that powers the pump. All materials and parts of the pump are rigid, smooth and of high quality. The pump is very fortunately waterproof, so it can be used in the bath or shower. According to the guide that is included with the pump, in order to clean the pump after use, it states to "pull the cylinder from the top of the pump and wash with a water-based sex toy cleanser. Then, leave to dry and store in a dry place at room temperature. This makes the pump incredibly easy to maintain, clean and store, although it does not come with a storage bag.
