Our tester, Jeffrey, also really appreciated the that “each one also increases in diameter around the halfway mark, which is great for warming up and keeps things exciting as you move the sound deeper”. He enjoyed feeling “the sudden expansion” as he hit the half way mark!

Silicone offers some unique benefits to steel, including being less intimidating and being able to curve with the natural shape of your penis, which is especially important if you have a pronounced curve. That being said, Jeffery did find that, “the friction of silicone keeps the use-time low without irritation”.

Why I Chose It

The Ouch! Urethral Plug Set stands out to me as the most beginner-friendly set of urethral toys that we’ve tested here. All three of the inserts have a diameter between 4 mm and 4.5 mm which is relatively small and manageable.

Our tester, Aaron, found that “these are some of the easiest sounds to use”. The short one is great for those who struggle with depth, and the middle one is perfect for those who can already handle some girth. The soft silicone is also nice and flexible which does make the experience a bit more forgiving than with an unyielding steel sound.

For Aaron, his favorite was the largest option in the set. “The beaded texture feels very pronounced, giving it spots of intensity at regular intervals that feel particularly great as the sound moves in and out”. Even though it isn’t as beginner-friendly as the other two options, he did note that it doesn’t require a ton of experience to enjoy.

Even though Aaron thought it was a good product, he did especially note that he found it a bit overpriced compared to other options on the market right now.

Why I Chose It

Now, I wanted to include one last urethral toy for those who are curious about combining sounding with e-stim. With this kit, you get to enjoy both internal and external zaps!

Our tester, George, really enjoyed the stainless steel rod. He found that “with the bobbly texture, it felt really nice going in”. It has a satisfying yet sensible length and diameter.
