WankzVR review – is it a legit website?

If you want to enjoy some hot, hardcore, HD, VR porn videos, then WankzVR is going to be a site that really will interest you and your porn-loving proclivities.

But the question on your lips will be ‘is WankzVR is a website that’s worth visiting and checking out?‘ Well, I’m going to get to try to answer that question in this review!

I’ve seen and tried out plenty of different VR porn websites over the years, so I feel uniquely qualified to know what’s hot and what’s not in the world of VR porn! I can use all of my experience to provide you with an in depth and interesting review to help you make your own choices on WankzVR!

I’m wanted to try to uncover every little thing that I could about WankzVR, so trust me when I say that I’ve left no stone unturned!

WankzVR – as the name suggests – is a site that inspires you to get down and dirty by enjoying the seemingly endless streams of high quality and erotic content on there!

It purports to be able to provide you with porn videos that you can interact with and be drawn in by, meaning that your sexual experience will be extremely immersive and realistic. It’s exactly the kind of thing that you want in a VR porn website!

Thankfully, the site is compatible with all major VR headsets, meaning that no matter what you own, you should be able to enjoy the content here.

It’s certainly an eye-catching and busy site, and one that will hopefully provide you with an experience like no other!

Pros and Cons

Every single porn website out there has its own pros and cons, and it’s no different with WankzVR!

So what are some of the highlights and lowlights of this site?

Well, here are a few of the biggest things that jumped out at me!

As I mentioned, these are just a few bullet points of the things I noticed. But let’s take a closer look and go into a bit more depth!

Initial Impressions and How I Tested It

When you go on any website, you form a first impression.

It is these initial impressions that really do last, and stick in your mind. In fact, a site might be fantastic, but if your initial impression wasn’t great, then it’ll still leave a bad taste in your mouth.

So I thought I’d share with you my initial impressions of WankzVR, letting you in on what I thought right off of the bat, from the good, to the bad, and even the ugly.

Initial Impressions

What I really liked from the very start was how familiar WankzVR is. It has a very simple and easily useable layout that is akin to sites such as YouTube.

It’s a really simple yet effective model that many porn video websites have used.

I think the reason it is so popular is because it actually works! It’s a proven layout with great user feedback, and it’s exactly the same with WankzVR.

It makes choosing a video extra simple, as you get all the information right there, from the video quality to the porn stars, and even when it was uploaded to the site. The only thing you don’t get is the video length.

When you hover over the videos you get a quick preview that loops around every 5 seconds (ish), showing you several key scenes. It’s certainly helpful when it comes to deciding which video you want to watch.

When you click on the videos it takes you to the main viewing page where you get a 3 to 4 minute long clip. Although, I mean, let’s be honest, that’s going to be more than enough for some people!

I think this is a great way of showing off your stuff without giving it all away. It’s fair. Obviously though, if you want the full uncut video, you’ll have to be subscribed. I’ll get on to that a little later in this review, though, so keep reading!

We’ll head up to the top of the page again to take a look at some of the tabs that you can click on.

I’ll skip over the VR porn tab as this just takes you back to the homepage where a lot of the top VR porn videos are located. I feel like I don’t need to go any deeper into that one!

First up is the categories section, which lays out each and every category available on WankzVR. It’s a meat and simple way of displaying everything so you can zoom through, find what you want, click on it, and get down to business.

Similarly, the pornstars section allows you to view all of the pornstars featured on the site.

It’s a cool way to find your favorite stars all in one place.

Frustratingly, though, they are not organized alphabetically, which would make things a lot easier!

The interactive tab takes you to a bunch more porn videos, that have a slightly more interactive nature. It allows you to get involved more in the video. It doesn’t go as far as some sex games such as AdultWorld3D, but it’s still a fun little feature that some will no doubt enjoy.

Finally, the get help tab redirects you to a page that helps you connect your headsets and smartphones.

It talks you through the process while troubleshooting any problems that you have.

This link isn’t actually on WankzVR, and it opens up this other webpage.

Still, it’s a very handy way of finding the help you require.

How I tested it

As far as I was concerned, there was only one way in which I could test WankzVR: by just jumping in at the deep end and trying it out.

But of course, there is only so much I could do as a non-subscribing customer, so it was pretty important that I eventually bought a subscription at some point.

So I had to find a subscription that suited me, buy it (with PayPal), crack out my Gear VR Oculus headset, and get down to the enviable task of really getting stuck in there.

Now, it’ll probably come as no surprise to you that reviewing sites like this is not tricky or complicated, but it IS time consuming.

It’s also super important not to get distracted by the content – something that is easier said than done!

The Overall Design of the Site

So, I’ve given you an initial overview of things, but I’m going to delve a little deeper into a few sections and look closer at what WankzVR is all about.

As soon as the site opens up, you are met with a big scrolling banner that is designed to tempt you in and get you to buy that all-important subscription. Which is fair enough, and pretty standard, though it is also kind of irritating sometimes to be whacked with a big ad.

Sure, they’re not ads explicitly saying SUBSCRIBE NOW, but you always end up on the subscription page, in a roundabout way.

I will say that they do do a great job of showing off some of their best stuff on these rotating banners. It’s clean that WankzVR knows that it has some fantastic content, and it’s not afraid of showing it all off.

I do like that underneath these banners the show off some of their achievements and main selling points of the site. For example, it tells you that there are 799 VR experiences, with more coming all of the time.

WankzVR also shows off that it was the Xbiz Site of the Year for 2018, 2019, and 2021. It also won a prize for the best VR sex scene in the 2020 AVN Awards.

Little things like these really help sell WankzVR’s legitimacy as a VR porn website. The fact that they have been recognized by both Xbiz and AVN Awards is a massive green flag that will make many people feel more comfortable using the site.

Scrolling down the site, you will pass the rows and rows of VR porn videos. I don’t think we need to talk any further about the layout of this section as I’ve pretty much covered it already.

One thing I would like to draw your attention to is what you actually get when you click on the videos themselves. As I mentioned, you get a 3 to 4 minute long clip, but that’s not all you get.

You also get a great breakdown of the specifics of the VR porn video.

This includes all kinds of information, such as the video quality, the FPS, the upload date, the length of the video, and even a link to download the full thing (which again, you have to be subscribed for).

There is also a long description that goes into detail about what you can expect from the video.

This is finally followed by the various tags, which the categories section will use to recommend various videos based on which category you choose.

Finally, back on the homepage, you finish scrolling past the videos to get to quite a lengthy wall of text about what WankzVR is.

Sure, it’s good that they went to be open and talk about themselves, but in all honestly, not many people are going to sit and read that entire block of text.

Personally, I think much of the text could have been culled, or they could have at least given you a single paragraph with the option of a dropdown box revealing the rest.

I just found this to be quite an unsightly and useless part of an otherwise great site.

Beyond that, at the very bottom, are the usual links and legal mumbo jumbo. This is another place that will help you navigate your way around the site, while also providing a few other key links that you may find useful.

You get a help section, a section on how to work with WankzVR, a list of other network sites, and a legal section.

There are also various warnings and disclaimers about the site and the content that can be found on there.

Company Information

It’s always good to know where a company is based. It helps give the company a little extra legitimacy and grounds it in the real world (because it can be easy to forget that even websites often need to have physical homes!)

Luckily, I discovered that the owner of WankzVR is a man called Jim Manzo, and that WankzVR is owned by a company called Tiazii Enterprise LLC, based in Glendale in Southern California.

It’s impressive that the site can not only be tracked back to a physical location but also to an actual person. It really adds some credence to the fact that it is a completely above-board website.

Subscription Tiers and Payment

WankzVR offers you three different subscription packages. Each of them are discounted and offer you a deflated price in order to enjoy the VR porn videos on the site.

You have a monthly subscription package, a yearly one, and a lifetime one. The only difference between the three tiers is the length of time that you get – all the other perks and bonuses are shared by all three subscriptions.

One of the things that I wasn’t a big fan of though was how you are kind of pressured to sign up as soon as possible in order to get the best deal. The subscription page has a countdown timer on it above the relatively cheaply priced subscription tiers.

Once that countdown timer is up (after around 10 minutes), the prices jump up to a much more inflated level, at which point you can’t take advantage the offer again.

That just seemed a little manipulative to me, and like they were trying to force your hand before you are even 100% sure that WankzVR is the porn website for you.

Still, back to the subscription tiers and their prices, I found them to be pretty middle of the road. WankzVR definitely does not have the cheapest subscription packages I’ve seen, but certainly not the most expensive either!

Here’s a little breakdown of the subscription tiers that will help you figure out which is the best for you!

It just goes to show that you can make savings with these subscriptions, with the longer tiers offering you more of a saving than the shorter ones. With that being said, I went for the monthly subscription tier, for the sake of this review.

Which leads me neatly and nicely onto this next section…

Payment Options

When paying for your WankzVR subscription (or anything online, to be fair) you want to be sure that your money is safe! That’s why you need to check what payment options you have available to you.

Luckily, this site offers you plenty of safe and secure options, including Visa, MasterCard, Diner’s Club, JCB, Maestro, PayPal, and even digital currencies such as Bitcoin.

Personally, I always go for PayPal as it is the quickest and most convenient method. It also offers a certain level of protection that I appreciate. All payments go through Epoch, meaning your money is safe, secure, and trackable, every step of the way.

But before I could completely purchase, I first had to sign up to WankzVR and create a profile. Then I could fill in all my payment details and actually buy the subscription.

All of this is pretty standard when it comes to purchasing subscriptions on porn websites, and you’ll find that they all look pretty much exactly the same. This is a good thing, though, as there is an industry-standard that they all stick to.

Again, this is another green flag when it comes to the legitimacy of WankzVR.

Using WankzVR as a Paying Subscriber

Okay, so now that I’ve purchased a subscription, it’s time to see how different WankzVR is! And in all honestly…it’s not all that different!

Visually everything is the same, and the only different thing is that you get a profile section where you can change and edit your details. Nothing too exciting and nothing to write home about, right?

The main difference is that I now had full access to all of the videos! That meant I could really get down to exploring the content and seeing how it handles!

You now have access to the download button below each of the videos, meaning that you can save them to your phone or your laptop. You can also save them to your own personal playlist for later viewing. It’s a handy little touch if you want to keep returning to the content.

You have two options when it comes to how you watch the full videos. First up, you can watch it as a full screen video. This option is good for smartphones, and you can move and tilt your phone in order to get a better view or look at different things.

Alternatively, you can switch to VR headset mode, where it shows you two slightly offset images that, when viewed together through a VR headset, magically turns into a crazily realistic and lifelike 3D video. Personally, this is my viewing method of choice, as not only do you get to enjoy it hands-free (as you are wearing a headset), but it is also much more immersive!

I realize that the above image doesn’t really do it much justice, but trust me when I say that this method of viewing VR porn videos has to be tried out to be believed!

So yeah, as a paying subscriber, WankzVR doesn’t have too much more to offer. But what it DOES have to offer are the full videos that can be viewed in a multitude of ways. It’s great when you get so many viewing options, and the results are fantastic.

Does it command the price that it charges for a subscription? Well, that’s for you to decide. But personally, I found it reasonable, and I couldn’t complain about the amount of content available to be as an actual paying subscriber.

No one will be able to deny that WankzVR certainly gets the job done, and at the end of the day, that’s what matters the most.

Video Quality

When it comes to the quality of the videos presented on WankzVR, I was extremely impressed to see that pretty much all of the videos were in 7K. That seemed to be the average.

Sure, I saw a few that were lower (nothing below 6K), but it seems like the vast majority sit at the 7K mark, which is more than enough to convince you that what you’re seeing is real and happening right there in front of you.

To check the quality of the video, simply look in the top right hand corner of the thumbnail. There it will tell you the quality, as well as whether it is in HD (high definition) or UHD (ultra high definition).

You do have the option of changing the quality of the video as you watch it, too. All you need to do is go to the bottom left hand corner or the video, and click on the cog/gear icon. Once you select quality, the following screen will pop up.

All you need to do is choose which yo uwant to go with, and it will automatically transfer the video over to that quality. It’s better to go with a lower quality if your internet is unstable or if you are using data.

For me this is a really cool feature, as you can control how good your video looks.

I will say though, most people won’t see a difference over 4 or 5K. Many poeple’s eyes arent so discerning and won’t notice the minute differences in quality. Only the aficionados will notice the slightly crisper picture or more detailed images on the screen. I’m not knocking anyone that prefers that ultra high definition, but it’s not necessarily going to make a difference to your average VR porn user!

So is WankzVR REALLY a Legit Site?

This one is easy to answer. Yes, WankzVR is a legit and above board website with a lot of good things going for it. From the trustworthy payment methods to the popularity of the site, there are many green flags indicating nothing but positive things.

I mentioned the payment methods, so I’ll talk about that first. They make sure that the payment is all transparent and that you feel secure handing over your money. On top of that it is secured by companies such as Epoch, meaning that your money will remain protected.

One of the things I love is that the company can not only be traced back to a physical location, but also an individual person. it makes you feel as if someone can be held responsible in the (admittedly very unlikely) event that something goes wrong. Again, another hallmark of legitimacy!

The content on the site is all fantastic, and I can’t complain about any of it. The quality is also first rate, too, and they aim to give you as the customer a smooth, fun, and easy experience. That’s something that is extremely important!

Sure, the kind of generic-looking site won’t be for everyone, and I wan’t a fan of them pushing the discounted price on you as soon as you arrived on the site or you would lose it, but I can overlook these minor things and praise WankzVR for the overall experience.

So, just to reiterate, YES, WankzVR is a legitimate website that I would highly recommend if you want to experience a interactive and erotic site!
