My Verdict
Until this little guy, I didn't get the hype around the magic wands. But Zalo's Ava Smart Wand Massager completely blew my mind from the moment I received it. From the luxurious packaging to the quality of the wand, I was in for a treat. I love it when sex toys look cute and get the job done well, so I find myself reaching for Ava Smart Wand pretty often when I want a quick and delicious orgasm.

Low Expectations
I’ll be honest: I had super low expectations for the Ava Smart Wand Massager. I’m not huge of clitoral vibrators (except for suction vibes), and I never got the hype around the magic wand. I personally find super strong vibrations too much on the clit. It always makes the area numb or overly sensitive, which I don’t enjoy. However, Ava surprised me with how enjoyable the wand was right from the get-go. I blame it on the material it’s made from. The round vibrating head is made from a super soft silicone, I absolutely love the feel of it on my skin. But that’s not all! The head is a little bit bouncy, as if there is a layer of gel inside which makes all the difference when using it. It feels soft and plush even when I press it harder on my body. And because it’s so bouncy, I can feel the vibrations all over my vulva when I use it. I absolutely love it.A Luxury Experience
Zalo is a luxury sex toy brand, and I definitely felt it from the moment I lay my hands on Ava. The packaging it comes in is stunning. I had a hard time getting rid of it. Also, the sex toy has a 1-year warranty, which is always a huge plus in my book.A Few Disappointments
Overall, I’m very satisfied with Ava, but of course, not everything was perfect. The sex toy comes with a user manual, which is wonderful. However, if you’re like me and throw the user manuals away with the packaging, it’s an issue. I’d have appreciated having the user manual on the website in a PDF version that I can download if I want to. I think it’s a little bit outdated not to have a digital version of a user manual in this day and age, especially for a luxury sex toy brand. Another thing I struggled with was the Zalo Remote App. Ava is supposed to be a remote-controlled vibrator that you can connect to the app. I think that’s a great feature for a sex toy to have. However, I had trouble connecting my toy to the app. I’m not sure if it’s the app, the toy, or my phone, but I wasn’t able to test whether Ava works with the app.Design
Ava's design is absolutely stunning. It looks luxurious, and it feels luxurious, too. It's heavy and sturdy despite its tiny size. The plastic of the handle feels premium, and so does the soft silicone. The buttons are integrated seamlessly and are easy to reach for while using the sex toy.
Ease of Use
Using Ava is very easy and intuitive. There is one button that turns the sex toy on and allows you to change the vibration mode, and then there is a smaller button that's supposed to help you connect the sex toy to the app. The wand fits in the palm of your hand easily and is super effortless to hold in place.
Quality
The quality of this wand massager is phenomenal. While the design is simple, it's luxurious and feels high quality. The weight of the wand makes it sturdy, and the silicone of the round head feels amazing against the skin. While the wand is small, it's definitely not quiet. So, that's something to keep in mind, because your roomates will probably hear you.
Price
The price for Ava is pretty high. You can find cheaper mini wand massagers on the market for sure. However, out of all the mini wand massagers I've tried, this one is a standout. So, I'd say that if you're looking for a mini wand massager and want a high-quality sex toy that feels good and that you will keep in your sex toy collection for many years, I'd say the price is worth it.

I think Ava definitely delivers. It's a luxury wand massager that feels and looks premium. The vibrations are strong and rumbly, you have many different settings to choose from, and the battery life is great. While it's a mini wand, it's still pretty loud.

So, the packaging was definitely a standout. The box that the sex toy came in was large and beautiful. It fits the style of the sex toy collection and definitely made the unboxing a little treat in itself. You can feel that it's a luxury sex toy. It comes with a user manual that tells you how to use the sex toy, a charger cord, a warranty card, and a satin storage pouch.
Materials and care
The materials that Ava is made from feel high quality. The handle is ABS plastic, but it feels sturdy and premium. The round head is made from body-safe silicone that is silky smooth and feels amazing. The design makes the toy super easy to clean, however it's not 100% waterproof. Ava is classed as IPX6, which means that it's splashproof and can withstand heavy streams of water, but the toy can't be fully submerged into water.
Special feature
Ava has a special heating function. You can turn it on before using it, and the silicone head warms up to your body’s temperature. While I don’t use this function every time, it’s definitely something unique about the toy.
