Why I Chose It

I’ve picked out the Vixen Maverick as the Test Winner in this review because it’s a great all rounder. For those who are specifically looking for a large and girthy dildo, you really can’t go wrong with this one.

I had the absolute pleasure of testing out the Vixen Maverick for Bedbible and it is by far my favorite silicone dildo in my collection. I’m a sucker for the special Vixskin silicone formula that makes the outer layer of the dildo feel super soft and squishy. I also think this makes the girth a lot more comfortable and accessible. Again, I don’t consider myself a total size queen just yet, so being able to enjoy this girth without feeling too stretched out is really nice.

At the same time, the dual density helps make the experience a whole lot more lifelike. Having that solid core makes it feel like an actual erection! The overall realism is, of course, also helped along by the detailed textures and design. I picked the color Midnight Pearl but I’m sure it looks a lot more realistic in one of the skin tones available, if that’s what you’re looking for.

In terms of performance, I was completely blown away by this dildo. It feels incredibly satisfying and the orgasms I experienced with it were earth-shattering. I love using it by itself or having some clitoral assistance. The suction cup on my version worked very well too! Although, according to some of the online reviews, I think some of skin tone versions lack a true suction cup base. Keep that in mind when you’re picking out a color.

The Vixen Vixskin Buck is incredibly similar to our Test Winner today, the Vixen Maverick. They share the same diameter in girth but the Buck is one inch shorter. This does make the overall experience slightly less intense so I think it’s a better option for adventurous beginners who are ready to enjoy some nice satisfying fullness.

This solid glass dildo has a very non-ergonomic shape. It’s completely straight, has a very rounded tip instead of a gradually tapered one, and the nodules on the shaft add some serious stimulation. Given my experience with dildos, I can tell you right now that this dildo was definitely designed to be challenge.

It was designed to tastefully torture all those size kings and queens out there who love to be pushed to their limits. Needless to say, it’s not my first recommendation to anyone who hasn’t tried a large dildo or a glass toy before. Unfortunately, for our tester, Cierra, this was her first time using a glass toy.

Nothing about this dildo is made to feel natural or “comfortable”. The lack of taper makes insertion less smooth. The moral of the story is that you need gauge your own experience level and what kind of sensations you’re looking for before purchasing this dildo. I included the njoy Eleven in this review because it is indeed a force to be reckoned with. This is the most expensive dildo I own! even though it may be out of most people’s budget, I do still think it has earned a rightful place on this round-up review of the best large dildos out there. My first thought when I picked it up was: “My God, this could be a freaking weapon!“. This thing is so heavy. The good thing is that this weight really adds to the pressure you’re feeling internally as you use it. It also helps gravity do a lot of the thrusting work for you as the dildo slides in by itself. That said, don’t opt for this big dildo if you have limited hand or wrist strength. It’s slippery with lube and takes a lot of effort to haul around!

Given the rigid, solid stainless steel, this girth that it has to offer is not for the faint-hearted. The stretch is unyielding and unforgiving. Of course, that can be a desirable quality if you enjoy stretching to the point of teasing torture. If I enjoyed being dominated by a dildo, this would be my first choice. I know I personally enjoyed the firm stimulation it provided.

That said, there are definitely two sensations to explore with this double-ended design. The “smaller” tip was a great starting point for me (albeit still a pretty girthy experience). However, the size difference between the two ends is quite significant, and I found myself regretting not warming up with a larger dildo before taking on the really thick end. So, that’s my best piece of advice when using this dildo. Do not underestimate warm-up!

Even though the price is borderline ridiculous for a dildo, this particular dildo will last you a lifetime. It’s incredibly durable and surprisingly versatile! I’ve used it for cold and warm temperature play, sensual massages (it’s especially good for getting out stubborn knots!), and I honestly quite enjoyed the slight thrilling fear of testing my limits with it.

This is my top recommendation for those looking for a solid, satisfying stretch! I picked out the Vixen Randy because it’s a slightly more forgiving alternative to girthy metal dildos or metal dilators. With the Vixen Randy you can enjoy that full feeling and still have a slightly flexible, relatively lightweight dildo with a strong suction cup base!

Beware of the size, though! Our tester, Isabelle, strongly advised checking if the diameter was suitable before actually buying the dildo. It’s not for the fain-hearted! Here’s a snippet of her in-depth review:

““Would this be a case of curiosity killed the pussy” was my first thought as I wriggled The Randy from it’s plastic case. Followed by what can only be described as a nervous laugh. This was going to be a project toy, I knew that much! This is by far the thickest dildo I’ve ever encountered, but I was intrigued by it’s ability to put intense pressure on my g-spot.”

Even though it took a good amount of warm-up and patience to complete the testing process, she really did enjoy how that stretch intensified the overall pleasure, especially when adding some external clitoral stimulation to the session. In my experience, firmer silicone dildos like this are really great for comfortable stretching. They’re firm enough to create some nice pressure internally but not completely rigid.

The strong suction cup was also a nice pro. It sticks pretty well to most flat surfaces. This is always a plus in my book because it opens up for so much more versatility in terms of solo play. Although, the sheer size may render it unsuitable for super vigorous riding. That’s up to you, though.

The great news is that the Vixen Randy is significantly more affordable than the Vixen Vixskin collection with the dual density dildos. That said, it’s still not the cheapest dildo in the whole world. It is still a high-quality dildo that an be a great tool for intensifying your pleasure and assisting in a comfortable stretch.

Why I Chose It

I fell in love with the Creature Cocks Mystique Unicorn Dildo because of the beautiful colors and the unique design – and, of course, the pretty big size. I had always wanted to try a fantasy dildo before and this one was the first one I came across that actually appealed to me.

One of my favorite things about this dildo is the plump shape with the gradually increasing girth as one works their way down the shaft. As someone who has tried a lot of different shapes of large dildos before, I will say this shape is a great help to those who aren’t quite sure of their abilities. With this dildo, you’ll get to enjoy the wonderful texture even if you can’t take the whole thing. It’s also the perfect shape to slowly train yourself to go bigger!

Initially, I was surprised at how flexible and squishy the silicone was. This also made those thick ridges and spiraled textured seem a little less intimidating. So, even though this large fantasy dildo may seem like a lot to take on, it’s actually more beginner-friendly than you would think.

I think the flexibility of the silicone also helps make the texture feel smooth during penetration instead of overwhelming. In my experience, it was a good way to enjoy some texture without feeling like it could create friction as some point!

My two minor points of critique is that the shape of the dildo isn’t great for intense g-spot massage. That is usually the case with most soft silicone dildos that don’t have a bulbous tip. Although, I still thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Secondly, dust and lint can easily stick to the surface of the dildo so a little rinse before use is pretty much always needed. In my opinion, a small price to pay for this wondrous device.

Last but certainly not least, this large dildo is very affordable compared to most of the other items on this list! You’ll be getting a high quality, whimsical, and uniquely shaped large dildo without breaking the bank.

Why I Chose It

Now, the Mr. Hankey’s Toys BFG is actually the biggest dildo in this review. The reason it’s not labelled as the Test Winner is partly because of its size. Even though you may be looking for a large dildo, this one is definitely for advanced players only. It’s also more of a fantasy-style, non-phallic dildo with an unconventional shape. It’s more of a niche product.

Of course, I still wanted to include it in this round-up for all the size royalty out there who loves this size and style of dildo. So, let’s get into the key features that this Big Friendly Giant has to offer.

“My wife and I were interested in the BFG as we wanted a dildo she could use on me that would fulfill my need for size, stimulate my prostate, look a bit other worldly for her, and be strapon compatible. Well it checked most of those boxes.” 

Allen (and his wife) tested this dildo for us and they had a really good experience. He had mostly good things to say about the overall quality, feel, and size. However, he did had two main points of critique.

First of all, the design and sheer size of this dildo made it very difficult to find a harness that would fit it or support it. Sadly, they had to forfeit this mission and settle with using it by hand. I know that a lot of people looking for large dildos are, just like Allen, looking for use it with a strap-on for pegging. Keep in mind that it won’t be great for this if you’re considering strap-on play.

“The second biggest issue I have with the BFG is the bend. The angle of the bend in the upper part of the shaft causes the head to bend over itself and more or less stop me from really going deep on it. It’s not every time that this happens, if I’m mindful of how I’m inserting it”.
