I chose the Lovehoney Posable Strapless Strap-On as my “Cheapest” pick. At full price, it’s a great option that will set you back around $80. However, if you can find it on sale, this two way strapon costs less than $45, making it an excellent value for the money!
I really like the baby blue version of this toy, as its bright coloring makes the toy less intimidating for first-timers. There’s also a purple version available, but unfortunately, these are the only two options. It would be nice to see more color options.

As my “App-Controlled” pick, it’s fairly obvious what the main appeal of this toy is. Sure, the all-silicone build and extra-stimulating textured surface of this double sided strap on definitely work in its favor, but the real reason you’d want it is for those app-enabled bonus features.
Fortunately, the Lovense Lapis has plenty of features to offer. More basic features include precise vibration control via the app, granting you unlimited patterns. More advanced features include things like vibe-music sync and long-distance controls. Of course, these bonus features aren’t worth much if your double strap on dies in half an hour. Thankfully, the Lovense Lapis can last up to 156 minutes per charge. It’s even IPX7-rated for aquatic adventures!
The only real reason you might not want this toy is the price tag, which hovers around $260 at full price. As such, I’d recommend trying to find this double ended strapon on sale if you can. I wouldn’t recommend this to a complete beginner who’s not quite sure if they like strap-ons or not. Our tester did mention that it was very tricky to keep in place without actually wearing it with a harness. Verdict
The main thing I like about this two way strapon is the inclusion of the handheld remote. This makes it much easier to switch between the nine vibration modes while the toy is already in use and makes it so you don’t need to whip out your phone while you’re going at it.
The color selection for this toy leaves a bit to be desired, but I think XR Brands got the design itself right. The shaft has a pronounced head and a little bit of added texturing. The bulb also has a few ridges, and there are a bunch of ribs on the end of the shaft for added clitoral stimulation. This should make the toy much more enjoyable for both partners.
If I had to pick a few complaints, well, they’d all be power-related. First, although the dual strap on toy is rechargeable, the remote is not. Fortunately, it only takes a single CR2032, but still: having to buy batteries eventually is an inconvenience.
Although the battery life of up to 90 minutes is good, the charging time of 150 minutes leaves a bit to be desired. It would be nice if the toy charged a bit faster.
Still, despite these few complaints, I still think the Pro Rider 9X Vibrating Silicone Strapless Strap On is a solid option overall. If you don’t mind the all-black look and simply want something with a handheld remote then you’ll definitely want to add this one to your shopping cart!

I chose the Fetish Fantasy Series Double Delight Strap On as my “Harness” pick. Unlike most other dual strap on toys, this toy knows that your experience will be much better if you have a harness, and gives you one right from the get-go.
This is great, although the harness itself looks a bit cheap. Still, it should get the job done. The real issue with this two way strapon isn’t the harness, though. It’s the strap-on itself!
Ideally, you want a non-porous silicone dual strap on toy, as this provides you with the highest level of body safety. Unfortunately, this particular Pipedream toy is made from PVC.
On the plus side, this means that the toy is affordable and flexible. However, it also means that the toy is porous and can’t be sterilized, which definitely isn’t a positive (considering it’s for internal use).
If you do decide to pick this one up then I strongly recommend giving it an intensive cleaning after every use. You’ll also want to stick to either vaginal or anal use for this toy, at least, if you want to minimize the chance of bacterial spread. Remember, this toy can’t be sterilized!
Ultimately, whether or not you’re willing to use a porous toy is up to you. It’s not the most “body-safe” option around, but it is more than affordable. If you’re willing to take the risk and have a willing partner then the Fetish Fantasy Series Double Delight Strap On might be an interesting addition to your toy box.

Verdict
The Union – Double Dildo Vibrating Purple strap-on is a fairly simple toy, but I think this makes it an excellent pick for couples who have never tried using this type of toy before. That said, the same things that make it beginner-friendly may make it less appealing to more experienced users.
The two way strapon itself is made from silicone, and can be used with both water-based and hybrid lubes. The shaft is smooth, as is the bulb. However, there is a bit of texturing toward the bottom of the shaft, providing extra clit stimulation for the wearer.
