Why I Chose It
I chose the Vixen Maverick as my Test Winner in this review because of the premium quality, durability, and detailed design. This is also one of the most realistic feeling dual density dildos out there!
Thanks to the Vixskin silicone formula making the exterior nice and squishy, this girthy design becomes a lot more accessible and comfortable to different levels of experience despite the large size. It definitely looks more intimidating than it actually is!
Our tester, Cassie, did note that the Vixen Maverick requires more warm-up compared to other toys because of its girth but that “it’s totally worth it for when I’m craving a satisfying and fulfilling experience.” That being said, it is the thickest dildo in this review. In Cassie’s experience, “it provides a really fulfilling sensation that definitely works for me both on a physical and psychological level.”
I love that this dildo comes in multiple different design patterns and skin colors. This makes it suitable even for those who don’t prefer dildos in realistic skin tones.

I’ve picked out the Vixen Mustang as the Beginner Friendly choice of this review because I truly believe it is one of the best dual density dildos available on the market right now! If you ask me, this versatile dildo is a must-have if you’re into penetrative pleasure both vaginally and anally! It is a great size that will please experienced users while also not being too daunting or scary for beginners!
I also own a Vixen Vixskin dildo and I can attest to the high level of quality these dildos offer. They feel amazing and they’re extremely durable and long-lasting. I agree with Isabelle when she in her review said that the Mustang was “hands down the most realistic feeling dildo I have ever come across”. She was so impressed that she actually saw it becoming her go-to dildo, since she has found herself “choosing it over (her) favorite clitoral toys, which is high praise indeed!”.
Typically for beginners, they will need something smaller and less intimidating, especially if they are going to be using an anal toy – with a girth diameter size of 1.6 inches, with a little bit of lube, this is a great first time toy.
Thanks for the size and softness, it would also perform very well for double penetration with a partner! While I would have loved to see a true suction cup base on here, the flared base increases the safety of this toy, especially if it is to be used anally. Plus, it’s available in a lot of different skin tones and other colorful designs!

The Lifelike Lover Silicone Dildo dildo is one of the most realistic dildos I have ever seen! The unique feature of the sliding foreskin and the moveable balls makes this dildo a lot more ‘interactive’ compared to most other dual density dildos. This makes the overall experience a lot more realistic!
Our tester, Britnee, had her reservations about the coloring at first. Although, she was pleasantly surprised after trying it out: “This might be my new favorite toy in my drawer — it lives up to all they hype. It might be the most expensive device I own, but I believe it’s worth every penny. The amount of use I’m going to get out of it means it’ll pay for itself quickly.
I like that the balls are soft, squishy and moveable so they’re perfect for using as a grinder during penetration. The large suction cup base also adds to the level of versatility available. Stick it to any surface and enjoy it hands-free, or use it with a strap-on harness for an extra realistic experience.
I really do wish it was available in a few different colors and skin tones. Especially since Britnee found this coloring to be a little off-putting.

The coloring and detailing as well as the unique sliding skin really add to the realism. As our tester, Naomi, noted in her review “The b-Vibe Slipskin Girthy Dildo is unlike any other dildo I have used. […] I was truly surprised how realistic this toy looks, aside from girth.”
One of my favorite features about this toy is the girth. A thicker shaft like this provides a nice filling, satisfying feeling that puts extra pressure on the g-spot or prostate. Thanks to the curved shaft, it’s easier for the dildo to target those areas. That said, it’s definitely not a beginner-friendly item. Make sure to check the dimensions properly so as to avoid biting off more than you can chew!
