Test Winner Liquid Silk Lube
- Water-based lube
- Milky and slightly translucent look
- Medium thickness with a fast pour speed (compared to other fake cum lube consistencies)
- Comes in a hard plastic bottle with an easy-to-use pump (8.45 fl oz).
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Fast pour speed makes it great for using in a squirting dildo
- ✅ Very long-lasting for a water-based lube
- ✅ Pump is easy to use and can be locked for safe transportation
- ✅ Packaging is very sleek and simple
Cons
- ❌ Contains glycerin
Why I Chose It
The Liquid Silk Lube was crowned the Test Winner of this review because it scores top points for realism, consistency, and versatility. For a very humble price, you get a water-based lube that is surprisingly long-lasting:
“I really really loved using this lube, and for someone who never buys ‘cum coloured’ lube, I would purchase this product again. This is truly one of the first water-based lubes I have used that hasn’t dried out in minutes.”
Even though it’s so long-lasting, it’s still a water-based lube and which means that “when washing it off the skin, it is very quick and easy and doesn’t leave a lasting, greasy feeling on the skin.” One of more common drawbacks of long-lasting lubes is that they can be difficult to fully wash and feel like they linger on the skin. Luckily, the Liquid Silk Lube washes right off.
Our tester, Katie, wasn’t a big fan of the packaging. Although, I personally like the simplistic aesthetic. Even though it’s not supposed to have a scent or specific flavor, she also noted that it smelled a bit like baby wipes and had a fain sweet but chemical-y taste to it. Take this into consideration if you’re planning on using it any kind of oral play.
Runner-Up Lovehoney Delight Silk Lubricant
- Water-based lube
- Opaque, creamy color
- Very thick and solid consistency
- Comes in a hard plastic bottle with an easy-to-use pump (3.3 fl oz).
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Bottle is very easy to use
- ✅ Can be used with all types of lubes and condoms
Cons
- ❌ Contains glycerin
- ❌ Dries out quite quickly
- ❌ Bottle has a quite gender-specific design
Why I Chose It
The Lovehoney Delight Silk Lubricant was selected as the Runner-Up because it has that milky, realistic look but is 100% water-based ands slightly more affordable. This fake cum lube works well for those who are just experimenting with fake cum play and want something that’s easy to handle and washes off sheets and skin like a breeze.
Katie, who tested out this lube, found that it looked a bit too white and too solid when it first came out of the pump:
“When I first put it on my skin, it sat on the surface and felt and looked very thick. However, once I started to rub it in, it became very watery and smooth”
This is great if you’re looking to recreate any visual cum-fetish fantasies and want the look of that thick, creamy cum at first. Then, once you’re done admiring your work, it can easily be rubbed into the skin or washed off without having to deal with any sticky residue.
“Unfortunately a typical trait of water-based lube is that it can dry out very qiucikly, and in this lube’s case, that is apparent. But it doesn’t become tacky, so with a top up of lube, I stayed pretty wet during sex.”
All in all, it’s a very basic lube that covers all the bases and has a very beginner-friendly consistency. Ideally, it wouldn’t contain glycerin, but that’s mostly an issue if you find that certain lube ingredients easily create an imbalance in your vagina or vulva.
Cheapest Sliquid Silk Hybrid Lube
- Hybrid lube (that is still compatible with latex condoms and silicone sex toys)
- White and slightly translucent look
- Medium thickness with a fast pour speed (compared to other fake cum lubes)
- Hard plastic bottle with a click-close lid (4.2 fl oz).
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Long-lasting glide
- ✅ Can be used with silicone sex toys
- ✅ Not sticky or tacky
Cons
- ❌ Doesn't look as realistic as the other fake cum lubes in this review
- ❌ The hard bottle is hard to squeeze
Why I Chose It
The Sliquid Silk is the best fake cum lube for those on a budget. Luckily, this hybrid lube won’t force you to compromise on longevity either, since the silicone helps maintain a long-lasting glide.
While it does look milky and has a medium thickness, I wouldn’t say it’s the most realistic recreation of real cum. Perhaps it’s a good item to start with if you’re just now experimenting with living out some cum-related fantasies. The more runny consistency also makes it ideal to use with a squirting dildo.
I definitely prefer a click-close lid rather than a screw lid since it’s easier to use in the moment. However, the hard plastic bottle can be difficult to squeeze, especially if you have limited hand strength or you’re completely lubed up already. As far as the bottle design goes, it’s a bit too gendered for my personal liking, but that’s just me being picky. Although, our tester, Katie, had more to say about this:
“This lube is aimed towards vulva owners, as it contains ingredients that are neutral and less likely to cause vaginal infections. Sliquid Silk also contains no parabens or glycerol, furthering how good it is for vulva owners – I love when there is a low chance of getting an infection!”
For someone who doesn’t typically like silicone lubes, Katie thought this hybrid lube was great! “It felt soft and smooth on the skin, as well as long lasting and conditioning.”. All in all, you’re getting a lot of value for money.
Expert Pick CREAMY Cum-Style Lube
- Hybrid lube (mainly water-based but contains small amounts of silicone)
- Creamy, milky look
- Very thick and sticky consistency
- Long-lasting glide
- 8.8 fl oz
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ The look and feel is super realistic
- ✅ No scent or flavor
- ✅ The thickness is great for anal play
- ✅ Great for recreating facials, bukkake, or creampies (on camera especially)
Cons
- ❌ Contains glycerin
- ❌ Infused with silicone but marketed as a water-based lube
Why I Chose It
I had the pleasure of testing out the CREAMY Cum-Style Lube myself. I was initially a bit thrown off by the not-so-sexy, paint-tube-looking bottle it came in. Although, in the big picture, I’ve learned to appreciate more minimalistic lube packaging, since some fake cum lube bottles can have really explicit and tacky designs.
In the name of trying not to judge a book by its cover, I tried to keep an open mind when it came to using the lube. When I first poured it onto my hands, the creamy, milky color made me gasp a bit. That combined with the thick and sticky consistency made it look so incredibly realistic. This is definitely the kind of fake cum lube you should use if you’re planning on filming any cum-related content, or just recreating very visual cum-fetish fantasies with a loved one (or just for yourself for that matter)!
The thickness and longevity of the formula also makes it a favorite of mine for partnered penetrative sex. It really doesn’t dry up very quickly and barely requires any reapplication. The thickness also provides a bit of extra cushioning so it’s a great option for anal play!
The only few drawbacks about this particular lube is that it contains glycerin. I personally don’t have any issues using it, but if you’re prone to bacterial infections in your vulva or vagina, it may not be a good option. It’s also marketed as a water-based lube but it does contain small amounts of silicone. While the amounts are so small that they don’t affect the compatibility with condoms or sex toys, it’s still nice to make users aware.

Need a Squirting Dildo for Your Fake Cum?
Many of the fake cum products I’ve gone over so far are designed to be used with squirting dildos.
Squirting dildos, of course, are dildos that–with the help of a tube and a syringe–can squirt like a real penis. This can help add another level of realism to solo play or even act as a “third wheel” to your partnered play.
If you don’t already own a squirting dildo, here are a few recommendations!
Strap-On-Me Squirting Dildo
The Strap-On-Me Squirting Dildo is a great quality squirting dildo with a neutral, non-anatomical design. It’s made of body-safe silicone and available in black and different skin tones. It comes with a long, silicone tube, and a 1 fl oz syringe.
Doc Johnson Bust It Ejaculating Dildo
The Doc Johnson Bust It Ejaculating Dildo is another great squirting dildo with hyper-realistic features. Although it’s made of porous PVC, it’s free of phthalates and latex. It’s a whopping 1.8 inches in diameter and has a suction cup base with a Vac-U-Lock feature. It even comes with a small amount of the “Nut Butter” formula that–when mixed with water–becomes fake cum lube to use with your new squirting dildo!
What to Consider When Buying Fake Cum Lube
Here’s a condensed version on what to consider when you’re trying to find the best fake cum lube. These are the most important things to look into when choosing the right one for you.
- Ingredients: Ensure that the ingredients are body-safe and live up to your own requirements (in case you’re sensitive to glycerin or prefer to avoid oil-based lubes).
- Texture: Choose a texture and consistency that’s compatible with your specific intents and purposes. If you’re using it with a squirting dildo, you mat try to use one that’s a bit more watery and runny so it can easily run through a small tube. For a really heavy look (for camming, filming, or photoshoots) of creampies, facials, or bukkake, you might want a really thick and sticky lube with a slow pour. For penetration and partnered sex, you may want a hybrid lube that is very long-lasting.
- Compatibility: Make sure the lube type is compatible with sex toys or condoms you might want to use. Water-based lubes and most hybrid lubes will be compatible with types of sex toys and condoms. Silicone lubes aren’t compatible with silicone toys. Oil-based lubes aren’t compatible with latex condoms.
- Sensitivity: If you have sensitive skin or a vulva/vagina that’s prone to infections or bacterial imbalances, you might want to avoid fake cum lubes that contain glycerin.
- Water-Based vs. Silicone-Based: Consider the main pros and cons of each type and contemplate how this aligns with what you’re planning to use your fake cum lube for.
- Staining: Check out our in-depth review to see how each lube stains fabric before and after a wash.
- Flavor and Scent: This may be relevant to your if you’re specifically using your fake cum lube for oral play.
- Price and Value: Compare prices and consider the overall quality and value for money that you’re looking for or have the budget for.
- Reviews: Read or in-depth reviews of each fake cum lube or hop over to the online shops to see other user reviews for additional insights.
