Personal Experience
These Fifty Shades of Grey nipple clamps were one of the first sex toys that I ever purchased, and I was very inexperienced when I got them. So, it’s no surprise that I was a little intimidated when I first opened the package. My husband and I had set aside a night for sex, and we decided that we would play with these then, rather than whipping them out on the spur of the moment!
Practice Makes Perfect
The first time I tried to put them onto my nipple I was not successful — I was having a hard time holding my nipple while also holding the clamp and trying to move the tension rod to secure it. My husband decided that he would help me, and that experience was not any better. He did get it on, but he moved the tension rod ALL the way to the end… I think a more ideal situation would have been for me to practice in private with myself before bringing them out with my husband. Eventually, we were able to get them on an enjoyed playing with them. It was the perfect pinch and pleasure sensation! I also really loved the sensitivity that I had for some time after removing them. The clamps overall feel sturdy, stylish and sleek.
Ease of Use
I discovered that there was a learning curve to this product the first time I used it. I had never used a nipple clamp before, so the action of trying to properly place and secure it to the nipple at first was a little difficult. However, after putting them on 2-3 times they became very simple and easy to use. The tension bar is smooth and easy to adjust. I also found that applying a tiny bit of lube prior to application helps as well.
Quality
The Fifty Shades of Grey nipple clamps may be small and dainty, but they are sturdy. I have had them for over a year, and they have not bent or lost shape at all. The tension bar still moves smoothly and the tips have not deformed.
Price
Since these were my first set of clamps, I didn’t want to spend too much money, but I also didn’t want to buy the cheapest ones available. As I mentioned earlier, I have had them for over a year, and they are still in great condition. I expect to get plenty more use out of them in the future. I think they are well worth the $20 that I spent considering the quality and the longevity of the product.
Performance
The clamps were exactly as described on the website and performed as expected. As I mentioned, there was a learning curve, and it also didn’t come with any instructions. I know it seems like a straightforward product, but I wouldn’t have been opposed to some suggestions or instructions on how to properly put them on.
Packaging
I bought the product a long time ago, so I no longer have the box that it came in. There was a small pouch that came with the clamps to store them in, which stops them from getting lost or separated. It also keeps the silicone tips from gathering dirt and dust, which is a nice advantage.
Materials and care
Since the Fifty Shades of Grey nipple clamps are made from metal and silicone, they have been very easy to clean and care for. After use, I wash them with soap and water, and then pat dry and store in the carrying pouch.
