Fleshlube Fire Review
My Verdict
If you're into temperature play and want to bring that into your lube, then the Fleshlube Fire is a great lube to start with! It definitely warms you up, but doesn't get too hot, so its great for beginners. It adds a little tingly and heat to your foreplay, allowing you to get warmed up! Despite taking some effort to heat it up in the beginning, it is long lasting and definitely makes a difference. With its fun packaging and compatibility with all sex toy and condom materials, its a great lube that adds a little more depth to you bedroom fun!

About The Fleshlube Fire
The Fleshlube fire is a water-based lubricant that has warming features; when rubbed on the skin, the friction causes it to warm up and feel hot. It doesn't become tacky when you use it, and has a more oily/greasy texture to it. This lube is thin in texture, so I wouldn't recommend it for more vigorous activities like anal. Fleshlube Fire doesn't leave a stain on the sheets and is easy to wash off the skin. This lube is activated by physical friction, so it is as affective during foreplay as it is during full on sexual intercourse! It's a win-win!
Pros
- ✅Gets warm to make sex more fun!
- ✅Easy to use bottle
- ✅Compatible with all toy materials and condoms
Cons
- ❌Not great for vigorous activities
- ❌Not the longest lasting lube
- ❌Only reaches 'warm'

Design
Overall, I thought the bottle design was okay. I like the fun colour and fun design of the lettering, otherwise it looks quite cheap and amateur. Nothing about it really said 'luxury' to me, but the bottle normally isn't a massive selling point for me. It is small and does what it says on the label, and that's the most important thing for me. I do like the colour orange as it goes with theme of it being a 'hot' lube, and Fleshlube do this with their other lubes too, so all the lubes follow the same colouring and branding. Overall, the design didn't make me buy it, but it also didn't deter me.
Ease of Use
This lube is a water-based lube, which was quite watery and thin in texture. It was very easy to wash off my hands and didn't remain on my skin after I had washed it off. It is compatible with all condom and sex toy materials. When on the skin, it felt quite thin, but would have lasted a long time with regular reapplication. It didn't become tacky especially after I had used it for a while, and remained slippery on the skin after long use. For a lube that requires a decent amount of rubbing and friction to activate it, I thought it would have dried out quickly, but it seemed to hold up for a while!
Quality
Like the other Fleshlubes, this Fleshlube Fire is FDA approved, meaning that is has been tested and checked by the FDA. For a lube that is going to be interacting with your body, I think it is important to have an FDA approved lube, as it puts my mind at ease that it is safe. This lube has a pH of 6, meaning that it is slightly acidic; great for vulva owners as it attempts to match the body's natural pH. Its ingredients include Propylene Glycol, Glycerin, Aqua, Mel Extract and Potassium Sorbate.
Price
This lube has a very attractive price tag. Fleshlube Fire isn't the best lube on the market, but it certainly isn't the worst. It feels good on the skin, is compatible with multiple different materials and has a warming feature to it. It isn't that expensive, but it doesn't look that expensive either. I think Fleshlight are asking a fair price for a good quality product that aslo has a special feature.
Performance
The viscosity of this lube is not thick and doesn't coat a sex toy, like other, thicker lubes. It is not a very cushioning lube so I wouldn't use it with large toys or for anal. I would recommend using a thicker lube, which doesn't need re-application often. Despite this, it feels natural on the skin and if you prefer a thinner lube, then I would highly recommend Fleshlube Fire; it feels very smooth when rubbed into the skin!
Compatibility
The bottle is small and fits in my hand well - It is the perfect size for travelling and bringing with you on vacation! It has a clip-close lid which is easy to use, and the plastic on the bottle isn't too hard, so it is pretty easy to squeeze. I would have preferred a click-close lid, as I find them easier to use and more accurate when aiming the lube onto areas of the body. But this lid works perfectly fine, I'm just being picky!
Stain Test
This lube didn't leave a stain on the sheets and was very easy to wash out. Because it is a water based lube, it dried very quickly and clear. It was also very easy to wash off the skin and didn't feel sticky/ still on the skin after washing.
Special feature
This lube gets hotter when friction occurs – When on the skin, this lube doesn’t feel hot, but when rubbed, it gets hotter and leaves the skin feeling warm. The longer and harder the friction, the longer and warmer the temperature sensation lasts. It has a slightly chemical smell when in the bottle, but it doesn’t have a smell when on the skin. This lube has no taste.
