Out of all of the products on this list, I ended up choosing the Lelo Luna Pleasure Bead System as the “Test Winner”. With that in mind, let’s start with the negatives first before moving on to the positive points.
Although these kegel balls have a cute appearance to them, they do look somewhat cheap. With a price tag of over $60, I think most people would expect something that looks a bit more “premium” for the price.
If you’ve never used this type of toy before then there is a slight learning curve. To be fair, you’ll have to deal with this regardless of which kegel balls you end up choosing, but it’s still something you should keep in mind.
Now, onto the positives!
Being made of silicone, these balls are completely body-safe. The kit comes with two different weights of balls, which helps make it seem more approachable to complete beginners.
Lastly, the set includes a satin storage pouch, which helps you keep track of the balls while also making travel more manageable.

Aside from the branding, everything is exactly what you’d expect. The beads are securely attached to the silicone strings, making it extremely unlikely that you’ll ever lose a bead. The materials even allow you to clean them very easily. You can also sterilize them in boiling water for a few minutes!
Paired with a high level of build quality, you can feel confident when using these balls. Removal is also a breeze, thanks to the large metal tag at the end of the string. Simply put your finger in the loop and pull slowly – of course, the metal tab might not be the most comfortable to wear in your underwear as you go about your day.

These features are great, but any app-related features rely entirely on the app. Reviews of the app have been mixed in the past, so it’s hard to predict how well these features will work for you. I personally did experience that the app connectivity was a bit unstable at times. Of course, when it was connected, it worked beautifully.

While you might be a little scared of using glass sex toys, these are borosilicate glass, which is incredibly strong and can even be warmed or cooled before use. This means that not only can you use these as weighted vagina balls but also for some fun temperature play! Pop them in cool water before use for some thrilling tingly sensations or warm water for a more sensual feel.
The lack of removal cord won’t suit everyone, and while there’s nowhere for them to get lost as the vagina has a natural end point, removal can be a little trickier than with a cord.

Although they weren’t placed in any particular category, I figured I’d include the Tracey Cox Supersex Kegel Toner Balls as an honorable mention. They’re fairly basic, but—as kegel balls for tightening—they get the job done in a cost-effective manner.
Unlike some of the other options, this string does allow you to remove the balls for easier cleaning. While this does slightly increase the risk of a ball coming loose during kegel ball exercises, that’s fairly unlike due to the shape of the holders.
Being made from silicone, you won’t be able to use these balls with a silicone lube. However, this gives them the advantage of being non-porous and completely body-safe, so I think the trade-off is worth it.
All in all, I’d recommend these to someone who’s already started kegel training (as the 1.43 diameter may be too big for complete beginners).
