Mystim Sizzling Simon E-Stim Vibrator Review
My Verdict
Simon definitely made me sizzle! I was pretty terrified going into this review but ended up really enjoying using the Sizzling Simon. It's the best electric dildo I've tried so far and delivers both great vibrations and great electro-stimulation that feel great together. The size is a little intimidating but creates a very satisfying feeling. I would say this a superior stand alone electro-stim dildo for those who want to enjoy e-stim without buying an expensive power pack.

Personal Experience
Sizzling Simon is Serious!
When I first opened the Sizzling Simon, I oohed and aahed at the stylish black case. It looked like a professional piece of kit! I was both excited and a little nervous about what awaited inside! And apparently, I had to reason to be! The Sizzling Simon was larger than I had been expecting and it suddenly seemed even more intimidating than before. It was weighty and much thicker than I had imagined. This felt like a serious piece of BDSM kit. And I have to admit, I quite like that it scared me a bit.Simon Says…Sizzle
I won’t lie, I was too scared to try the Sizzling Simon solo, so I got my boyfriend to use it on me. I had tried the two other electrostim dildos I’m reviewing and was a bit disappointed, but I had higher hopes as this one seemed like superior toy. We started off with vibrations to get things warmed up, and although I’m not much of an internal vibration kinda gal, these ones felt pretty good. They also felt fantastic for clit stimulation. When I was ready to take the plunge, my boyfriend activated the electrostim. I didn’t feel much on the first couple of settings but then I felt a tingling that felt like it was spreading through the whole area. It felt like all of my atoms were vibrating and expanding. The closest description I can think of is fizzing or what I imagine white noise would feel like! At times, it felt like the vibrator was moving even though it wasn’t. With the vibrations on, the sensation of the electrostimulation was less distinguishable but they complemented each other well! Although I still needed clitoral stimulation to orgasm, I really enjoyed the new sensations and can see this being a fun little power play tool!Design
Of all of the electro-stim dildos I've tried, the design of the Sizzling Simon was my favorite. I think it works so well because the conductive material runs all the way down both sides of the dildo, so you get a really broad, satisfying stimulation. I found this much more enjoyable than the more concentrated electrostim that felt too sharp. I also like that it's looks both sleek and intimidating and feels more like a serious piece of kit than a novelty. I think the ripples are a really nice touch and although it looks big and scary, the bulbed shape is nice and filling. It's also a nice touch that the magnetic charging point on the cable is the Mystim logo and it fits perfectly over the Mystim logo on the toy!
Ease of Use
There are 6 buttons on the Sizzling Simon so it can take a bit of time to figure them all out. I do recommend spending some time familiarising yourself with them, so you (or whoever you are using it on) don't get an unintended shock while using it! Luckily, the layout is pretty straight forward. The top three buttons control the electro-stimulation patterns, while the bottom three control the vibrations. I like that there's separate buttons to change the pattern and increase or decrease the intensity for both vibration and electro-stimulation. It also has light bars on the buttons, which makes it easier to see what's activated. I would love a light dial to show which electrostimulation level you are on.
Quality
It feels very well made and sturdy. The weightiness also adds to the quality of the toy. The buttons feel nice to press and don't have a loud clicky sound. I also love the black case as it looks great and keeps the toy and charger clean and safe between uses. The vibrations can get a little loud but nothing too dramatic!
Price
This is one of the more expensive electric dildos that I've reviewed but considering that it feels a real step up in terms of quality and it's a stand-alone electro-stimulation that doesn't require a power pack, I would say it's a very reasonable price. I think it's well worth it if you want to experience enjoyable electro-stim play as the two cheaper models I tried didn't even come close to this one.
Performance
I was very impressed by the Sizzling Simon. The electrostimulation really packed a punch a lit of the whole area with tingling, fizzing sensations! I also really appreciated that both the vibration and electrostimulation have different patterns and you can adjust the intensity within the pattern. The two vibrating motors also delivered some pretty rumbly and powerful vibrations and it's nice that in some patterns they vibrate together and others they vibrate in alternating patterns. The vibrations can get a little loud but it wasn't too bad.
Packaging
The Sizzling Simon comes packaged in a black cardboard box with a clear picture of the toy on the outside of the box. While it's not my favorite design, I think it's fine for what it is. There's also a lot of information about the toy and how to use it.
Materials and care
The insertable part of the shaft is made of medical-grade platinum silicone and the handle is made of ABS plastic, which are both body-safe materials. It's also waterproof, which is very unusual for an electro-stimulation toy, but makes cleaning nice and easy! Simply wash with warm water and fragrance-free soap or sex toy cleaner and make sure it's completely dry before use. It also comes with a lovely zip-up case for storage.
Special feature
The Sizzling Simon comes with a program designed specifically for exercising the pelvic floor muscles. The manual states that the regular settings stimulate the nerve endings, whereas the training program stimulates the muscle fibres, creating contractions similar to performing Kegels. I’m not really sure how effective this really is, and I don’t think all vulva owners need to be doing Kegel exercises, unless advised to by a pelvic health specialist but it might interest some people.
