Nu Sensuelle Point Bullet Vibrator Review
My Verdict
The intensity surprised me and the chrome coated ABS plastic glides so smoothly on the skin. After this one, I will never buy a cheap novelty bullet again! You really do get what you pay for, and sex toys are no exception. I just really with it didn't have that silly blue light!

Personal Experience
First Impressions
I was SO excited to come home from a long, annoying day of work to a shiny new toy! The Point Bullet from Nu Sensuelle looks just like any other bullet vibrator (on the outside). Which is a good thing! A bullet is a simple streamline easy to use toy that doesn’t need anything more. I’m a graphic designer, so packaging design is an important factor for me. And, for a product as simple (looking) as a bullet, a clean sharp package is important to set it apart from the others. The contrast of the smooth silver chrome nestled inside a matte black box was striking and visually exciting. What Works
I really love the range of intensity the Point Bullet has. Sometimes you just need a little buzz to get you going, other times you need a straight up jack hammer, and this has it all! Combined with the narrowed tip, you can really zone in on all those tiny little spots that can give you big pleasure and can really help you to learn so much about your body! I even found that the Point Bullet is a fantastic back massager for the same reasons. It’s able to penetrate muscle tissue to help loosen up knots and tight muscles. What Didn’t Work (for me)
It took me WAAAY too long to finish this review! I thought I could bang this out in a week or two and that would be it. But, as mad as I am at myself for taking so long, I am kind of glad that I did take more time with this product. It gave me more time for the “new love” effect to wear off and be more honest with myself about it. I DO like it, truly! But, if I’m going to be giving honest reviews, I gotta get into some bits that I don’t like. And to be honest, there aren’t many things I don’t like! One minor detail I would have liked is multiple vibration intensities within each pattern. I feel like a few variations going from low to high intensity would be so exciting. The feature I like the least (and I REALLY dislike it) is the blue LED indication light on the silicone button that lights super bright along with the vibration. I really cannot understand why there is a light on this at all. It lights up along with the vibration patterns, which is so annoying. If it was used as an indication that the battery is getting hot or that it’s done charging, that would be a better use of the LED. It’s very annoying and distracting to see a flashing blue light when you’re trying to relax and reach orgasm!Design
Bullet vibrators should be smooth and simple in design. Traditionally, short cylindrical shaped vibrators with an on/off button. And that's exactly what the Point Bullet is. With the exception of the signature ergonomically tapered tip designed to give you pinpoint accuracy in those hard to reach places. And it works great! The Point comes in either twice-dipped silicone exterior in various colors or ABS, body-safe chrome, which is what I have. I can't say much about the silicone model, having not tested it myself, but the chrome is a unique addition to my mostly purple, black, and pink collection of sex toys (thought I think a gold color would be just stunning!). The coating is smooth and with a little lubrication it glides over your skin with ease.
Ease of Use
Using the Nu Sensuelle Bullet Point is super easy! Just turn it on, place it whereever tickles your fancy and let it do its thing. Pressing the silicone covered button located at the base of the Point for 2 quick seconds will get its motor purring. Press the button again will switch through the functions. Starting with 10 vibration intensities that get stronger and stronger followed by 10 super fun vibration patterns. To turn it off, simply press the button again for 2 seconds just as you would to turn it on. The vibration is powerful which is great for its intended purpose as a sex toy, but after a while of holding you may find your hand feeling numb. So if you have issues with your hands or wrists I would recommend switching hands occasionally. Maybe a silicone sleeve would help absorb some of the vibration to make it more comfortable to hold?
Quality
This product feels like it is very good quality. Nothing rattling around inside, the coating is smooth and durable, and being waterproof, it wont get ruined when washed. I love the exterior magnetic chargers for their durability. Unlike plug-in chargers, there is no port that may become worn out over time or for water to get into and ruin the electronics.
Price
It's a little pricy, sure. Not the most expensive, but not cheap. But as the old saying goes "you get what you pay for" and that is no exception for sex toys. Having only ever used cheap-o bullet vibrators in the past, I admit I was skeptical of a more pricy bullet. Anyone who knows sex toys will surely understand the value in this little powerhouse. All in all, I wouldn't say the price was unreasonable for the quality and functionality. Even the packaging is made of high quality material with a magnetic clasp to hold it closed. I even glued the clear plastic casing to the back of the lid and use it for storage.
Performance
The Nu Sensuelle Point Bullet is a little powerhouse that will out preform most other bullets on the market. Featuring Nu Sensuelle's S-Wave motor, the vibration is pleasurable on your body, but may be a little uncomfortable to hold in your hand. It is also a little noisier than I would personally prefer, and I have seen other reviews that say the same. But realistically, you gotta expect some noise with such an intense vibration. So it is forgivable for me. It has a decent battery life, lasting about 60 minutes or so and fully charges in about 2.5 hours. Its not a super long battery life, but I get it, its a lot of power in a little package. Plus an hour is way more than enough time for a single use. The battery may become a little hot when used for an extended period of time, which honestly feels great, but also gets me a little worried about issues with the interior mechanisms that may happen later on in its life. I have not experienced any issues yet (and hopefully never will).
Packaging
As a graphic designer, packaging is a big factor I consider in anything I purchase. Packaging should be bold and attractive but not distract from the product itself. It should also be durable enough to keep the contents inside face during transit. The Point Bullet protrudes proudly from the center of its matte black box adorned with thin glossy black waves that have a really fun texture when you touch it. This subtle design and texture is so cleaver for a vibrator packaging and I love it so much! It stimulates your scenes of touch before even open the box! The box opens like a book with a magnetic clasp holding it shut. Inside, the Point Bullet sits on the charging dock in a fitted plastic tray where underneath you will find three chargers, a user manual and a silky storage pouch. The back of the box lists the contents in five different languages. Though I do love the vibrant contrast of black and teal, The font used on the back is a little small and thin and may be difficult for visually impaired people to read. Perhaps if it was teal with black text that may be more readable.
Materials and care
The Point Bullet is made without latex and is phthalate-free making it save and hypoallergenic for those that may have skin allergies to those materials. It is waterproof and should be cleaned before and after each use with either a special sex toy cleaner or with warm water and mild, unscented soap. It does come with a nice little storage bag that is recommended to help keep it clean when in storage.
