Why I Chose It

Tim tested the Lovense Edge 2 for us and had nothing but good things to say about it, saying it is “a must have in your toy collection” further expanding that it “shot straight into my mine and my partner’s top 3 toys to play with.”.

He was beyond impressed with the app-controlled features and the long-distance options.

Both he and his partner had a blast exploring everything it had to offer.

Just like Tim, I’m a big fan of this prostate massager. Having personally tested the Lovense app, it’s a great addition to add a whole new world of options during play (long distance control, custom vibrations, and much more).

As an expert, one thing that is critically important in almost all porstate massagers, is that they have an adjustable neck. The Lovense Edge has that, and it will always be a win in my book.

I think it might take a while for complete beginners to prostate massagers to get used to it. In my experience a bit of practice makes it worth it!

Why I Chose It

Our tester, Moe Lawn, has at this point tested well over +20 different prostate massagers, and a TON of Aneros products among those.

The reason I chose this as the best for beginners is because it was Moe’s first, and “continues, to this day, to be a great one” for him.

As a sex toy expert, I know that finding a good beginner toy is about two things: Buying something that is ‘easy’ to start using, but also that it works for you even as you continue your journey.

According to Moe, The Helix Trident is a perfect match for beginners as it “from the beginning [was] inserted easily, was very comfortable, and keeps me coming back for more.”.

What really settled it for me is that he continues to be a fan of this entry-level prostate massager despite having explored many other Aneros products since then.

As the Helix Trident is manual he does note that it can take a bit of time to learn how to use your pelvic floor muscles to create motion and stimulation. When you’re got the technique down, it’s apparently very much worth it! And, the reason it works out as a great long-term toy for anyone starting here.

In short it’s a simple prostate massager that won’t overwhelm you as you begin your journey towards prostate pleasure. It’s a great size for beginners but also a great shape for delivering impressive sensations to even seasoned prostate players!

The small bulbous head puts just enough pressure on the prostate while the slim neck makes it super comfortable to leave in for a while.

Why I Chose It

To preface this choise, I’ve primarily chosen hands-free prostate massagers for this list.

But, if you really want to get a great budget-friendly option , then this manual one will save you quite a bit (no need for remotes or special complicated designs that run up the price).

We had Jesse test the Mantric, and the amount of power he reported it had, made it the undeniably strongest manual prostate massager of all the ones we’ve tested at Bedbible.

He enjoyed the many vibrations settings this little device had to offer.

Personally I think it’s a pretty genious design on paper to show the vibration mode with colours, as it’s easy to remember your favorite mode by it’s color as Jesse did with “turquoise is my favourite”. But, a downside of that (is of course with any) that he “would have to remove the toy to” see the colour.

He did mention that it didn’t quite hit the spot (yes, literally!). Compared to other prostate toys he has used before, the shape of the Mantric P-Spot Probe didn’t seem to target the prostate as intensely.

The reason of this, is that it’s not angled enought to really target the p-spot – but you can manually do so. I actually think it’s a good idea that it isn’t angled, as you would otherwise have a problem relieving the pressure. And, because of the rather large size, insertion would also be harder.

Overall Jesse “thoroughly enjoyed the Mantric P-spot Vibrator, multiple times!”, and thinks “It’s a brilliant sex toy” with “a great variety of vibration settings.”.

Why I Chose It

I picked the Lelo Loki Wave 2 as a sex expert pick because I think this is a unique and powerful prostate toy that many users will deeply enjoy! I was really interested in what innovative wave technology feels like, so I got one for my partner, who was really pleased with it! The “come-hither” motion stimulates the prostate in a completely different way than any other prostate vibrators he’s ever tried. Also, the shaft shape is quite bulbous and nicely tapered at the tip, which provides a nice filling sensation that feels satisfying but comfortable, even for less advanced users. Its vibrations are powerful, and even the external arm delivers a nice buzz, so quality-wise, I rate it 10/10.  

Even though my partner enjoyed his experience with this powerful prostate massager, I have some notes. Firstly, the Lelo Loki Wave 2 isn’t the easiest for solo play, and hands-free play would be very hard to achieve. All the control buttons are placed on the handle, which might be hard to reach in certain positions, so it’s much better to use with a partner. I wish a remote or app control was added to this toy; it would make it much more accessible and easier to use.

Why I Chose It

Robby had a great experience testing out the We-Vibe Vector+ for us, having tested other prostate massagers as well.

His concluding remarks says it all, I beleive: “I love this toy and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a prostate vibrator that is high tech, comfortable, extremely portable, and well designed.”

He pointed out that being able to adjust the neck allowed him to find the perfect positions.

The overall design of it also just made it breeze to insert while still putting the perfect amount of pressure of the prostate and perineum.

He was also really stunned with the We-Vibe app, saying: “I am a complete slut for the We-Vibe app and it’s innumerous personal settings each user can cater to themselves with.”.

As an expert I will add here that we’ve had testers in the past experience technical difficulties with the app. However, recently those bugs have been fixed. Generally speaking, the Lovense app seems to be better if you really value using the app-features.

I wanted to include this on the list as  I’m really impressed by the sensations it delivers and the raw level of power in the vibrations!

One thing I also want to highlight is the slightly lifted perinium base that flats out at the end, this adds to the pressure on the prostate by using a flatter/wider pressure on the perinium. This means two things, a higher pressure, and less irritation about the pressure on the perinium.

Another thing that enhanced the feeling of how powerful the vibrations are.

It is simply the strongest vibrations out of all the products on this list.

The deep vibrations from the Vector+ just provide a whole other sensation to your prostate stimulation than manual massage or rotations do. It’s a massive upgrade from the old Vector that we’ve also tested.

Why I Chose It

As I’ve already disclosed, Moe, who tested the Nexo Revo Stealth, is our utmost expert on prostate massagers. And, when he says that the Stealth is the “automatic prostate stimulator to buy if you only want to buy one” I trust that statement, a lot!

So, why isn’t it the test winner? Well, because those automatic movements (rotations, thrusting, or come-hither) cater to very specific needs.

As Moe says, automatic movements is typically for those that don’t want “to do the work yourself”. But, he also does admit that trying the rotational movement of the Stealth slightly changed his mind about it.

He does admit that he’s “enjoy pleasure I’ve not felt from a mechanical prostate massager”. So, albeit the handheld, manual or hands-free options is what most goes for. The automatic prostate massagers is nothing to sneeze at!

And, the Nexus Revo Stealth is best in class!

Why I Chose It

Isabelle tested the nJoy Pure Wand and wrote her review based on using it vaginally for G-spot stimulation.

Although a lot of the same feedback is also relevant for P-spot owners!

She really loved how intense the massage is with the metal dildo. It has completely changed the way she views G-spot stimulation and manual massage of that internal sweet spot.

Isabelle found that due to the “weight distribution and curve” it doesn’t require “all of the hard work” to get that “deep stimulation exactly where you want it”.

As a sex toy review site, we’ve seen SO many people rave about the nJoy pure wand, but I will say that beginners should thread carefully before applying a lot of pressure. Using hard materials like steel or glass you’re generally better off going slow and easy at first!

This is likely better for someone who enjoys manual massage instead of vibrations or rotations!
