The 5 Best Ribbed Dildos
I consider myself a texture queen when it comes to dildos. Unless it’s a glass or metal dildo, a smooth surface won’t do much for me. That said, it can be tricky to find the perfect ribbed dildo. So, with the help of our team of sex experts, I’ve picked out some of the best ribbed dildos that we’ve tested here at Bedbible. In this review, I’ll describe the main benefits and drawbacks of each product and include snippets of our testers’ in-depth reviews!

Why I Chose It
I selected the Maia Kendall Dildo as the Test Winner of this review because of it’s overall quality, versatility, and impressive size. The flared base makes it suitable for anal play, strap-on fun, and even for hands-free riding with the suction cup. Basically, you can use it anyway you like which makes it a winner in my eyes. All of this in combination with the curved tip for targeted g-spot stimulation, adds up to a great all-rounder ribbed dildo.
Our tester, Jenay, was really impressed with the overall quality. As far as the design goes, she “loved the way it had a slight curve to it. It was really able to hit all the right spots whilst being easy to hold and maneuver”.
Compared to most other silicone dildo, this is is quite firm to the touch. While I really like that the ribbed design isn’t too overwhelming because of the smooth ridges, it still feels satisfying because of the firmness. The firmness combined with the size may prove to be a bit overwhelming for some, and I “recommend warming up a bit before getting into it”. It boasts a large length and girth so I think it’s fair to say it’s most suitable for someone with a bit of experience with using dildos.

Why I Chose It
The Icicles No. 5 Blue Swirl Glass Dildo is a close runner-up to the Test Winner because of the smooth yet stimulating texture along the whole shaft. Another huge pro is the hand-blown glass its made of. Just like the silicone Test Winner, this glass dildo is 100% body-safe, since it’s non-porous and hypoallergenic. What makes it stand out is the firmness. This unyielding material is amazing for deep internal massage of the g-spot, a-spot, or p-spot. The pronounced head really adds to that sensation as well.
The glass is also temperature responsive, allowing you to explore temperature play for external and internal pleasure. This makes it super versatile and fun to play with during partnered sex and foreplay. This was also our tester, Ashley’s, favorite part of the dildo:
“In the end, this toy ended up being one of my top favorites in my current collection. I have recommended it to friends looking for something new and fun to use solo, or with partners!”
Because of the unyielding nature of this material, along with the weight of it, it’s not my first recommendation to complete beginners. Even though the flared base makes it easier to hold, the weight of it may be a little overwhelming for less experienced users. Since it’s a little heavy, “someone with a grip issue or a weakness in the wrists may find this toy difficult to hold after a longer amount of time”.
