The Rocks Off Chaiamo’s design

The Chaiamo sports a cute lipstick shape that allows the user the easily target the clitoris and G-spot. I really love how the matte black silicone contrasts with the shiny bronze-orange button casing. The entire body is slender and cylindrical which is excellent for insertion, but lends to it rolling to the floor when trying to charge it. Only one button changes the speeds and settings, making it so easy for anyone to use. The total length is about 6 in. However, there is only about 4 ¾ in. for insertion, which is a little disappointing. Because of its simplistic design, clean-up is a breeze.

There are only 4 ¾ in for insertion and 2 ¼ in for grip, which does lead to some difficulties holding onto it when you really get into it. Even during partner play holding on can still be a challenge if you get gushy in the slightest. Just keep some paper towels on hand and be prepared to stop mid-session to clean it off and start over again.

I have had a few vibrators in my time and I must say that in some aspects the Chaiamo is a step up from the original 100% plastic toys of the past but in other ways, the quality could be slightly improved. Firstly, I love that it is made from velvety body-safe silicone that is free of latex and phthalate. I enjoy the grip action that this type of silicone offers but I hate that it is a dust and dirt magnet. I have resorted but placed it in its own special box just to keep the dust away. On the plus side cleaning it is as simple as rinsing it off in the sink or using a toy cleaning foam and wiping it off with a paper towel. It is entirely waterproof and dries within a few minutes. Since the metal prongs are exposed in the back, I don't feel comfortable using it in water; I would much rather they be covered in silicone.

Price of the Rocks Off Chaiamo

Taking into consideration the quality, charging time, and length I would say that the Amazon price is more reasonable. I think it would be great for those who are looking for a quick replacement and given that it takes about an hour to charge it never takes too long before the fun starts. If you're a college student, someone new to adult toys, or just someone on a budget this would be a great toy for you. For the very affordable price of $29.82 before tax and shipping. You can also find the Chaiamo on the Rocks Off website however it does cost a little more. Coming in at £39.99 it is about $51.69 before taxes and shipping. As a whole, I'm glad you won't feel like you're breaking the bank if you purchase the Chaiamo.

Does it Deliver on Pleasure?

Three stars all around! It is not a bad toy, it just may not be for those who have harder-to-reach g-spots and gripping issues. For me, I love that the shape guides your hand where it needs to go so that there is little to no guesswork on what side to use. However, it never quite reaches my spot because that plastic end needs to be extended and made easier to hold onto. The 10 speeds that it offers are ok but if you prefer intense tingles as opposed to deep rumbles then this might not be for you. On the Rocks Off website, the description says that it will be great, “for those who lack sensitivity,” I would agree, the more internal than the external. On the plus side, one full charge can last for 3 hours.

Packaging

My first thought upon seeing the packaging where, "Well, you know what you're getting". The box is not subtle at all, so if you want to be discrete with your purchase you might want to keep it in the larger box that it comes in. When opening it up I immediately noticed all of the dust and the inner white casing was broken on both the top and bottom, as though the toy was too heavy for the thin cardboard to hold it. I was a little concerned about this because I wondered how rattled it got during shipping. Fortunately, it works just fine and appears to be in good shape. The Chaiamo comes with the instructions and a small USB charger. Overall, I think the outer packaging is very simplistic and the inner lining could use some support.

Exploring the Materials and Care of the Rocks Off Chaiamo

The Chaiamo is made out of 100% body-safe silicone and non-porous plastic. The firm velvety silicone coating is free from both latex and phthalates. It is completely waterproof and submersible, but it cannot be stored wet or damp because it will damage the battery over time. To clean the chaiamo you can use a waterless foam cleanse and a lint-free cloth or cotton pad. It needs to be lint-free because the silicone definitely holds onto the slightest amount of dust and debris. Sadly, it does not come with a bag or a stand but if you store it in a plastic box it helps to keep the dust away.
