My Verdict
The slender silhouette and flexible body of the Romp Join fit comfortably on my anatomy. However, it wasn't adjustable enough to perfectly target my erogenous zones. While the motors emitted powerful vibrations, they were far too buzzy to satisfy my desires. Not to mention, the 40-minute battery life didn't feel worth the 90-minute charging time. It did, however, perform as advertised and quite silently at that. While this product wasn't for me, it intensified my interest in couple's vibrators. It would be ideal for those who love buzzy stimulation.

Personal Experience
Stickers and Stench
I lit up like a Christmas tree when I opened the Romp Join packaging, and stickers toppled out. I’m a sucker for sex-positive trinkets and absolutely adored the artistry in the bold designs! As for the toy, it was accompanied by a palpable odor. Romp Amp Anal Beads produced a similar scent, so it may be connected to the brand’s manufacturing process. I cleansed the toy extra-thoroughly and began testing.So Comfy!
Due to the petite size, the Romp Join required no prep for me. I simply lubed it up and slid the G-spot stimulator in place. The insertable appendage had an irregular silhouette, so the following data was gathered from the largest insertable section: The minor axis measured 0.65-inches, the major axis measured 1-inch, and the circumference measured 2.85-inches. If the volume were evenly distributed to form a circular silhouette, it would have a 0.9-inch diameter. This is similar to inserting a regular tampon, which usually measures between 1.1-inches to 1.2-inches in diameter. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit so comfortably.Underwhelming Vibes
While the fit was great, there wasn’t enough pressure for sufficient pleasure; and I didn’t love the buzzy vibrations. They tickled the surface, rather than rumbling through my nerves. The slowest vibration speed offered slightly more appealing stimulation, but not by much. Using the patterns (specifically, the wave pattern) broke up some monotony. I didn’t mind that it only had two vibration speeds and five patterns, but this may be a dealbreaker for those who require a slow buildup during pleasure. While the Romp Join enhanced bathtime, it hardly compared to my other bath toys.Design
This toy was absolutely adorable! The silicone glided like silk along the fingertips- it was pure foreplay to the senses. The teal pigment radiated feminine energy while still feeling inclusive. A tiny wave graphic ornated the power button, which was both practical and charming. Finally, "Romp" was depressed into the silicone like a signature. Personal details like this really elevate simple designs. Overall, I found this vibrator to be compact, slender, and sexy.
Ease of Use
The Romp Join couldn't have been easier to use. The insertable appendage was slim enough to fit comfortably in the vagina, even for some with vaginismus. If one can comfortably insert a regular-size tampon, the Romp Join shouldn't be a problem. All functions were controlled using a single button: hold for two-seconds to power on/off, and press to filter through the seven vibration modes. The button required little force to activate and operated without fuss.
Quality
This product is of above-average quality, but there's room for improvement. The body-safe silicone felt luxurious, but it emitted a chemical odor. Washing the Romp Join softened the scent but didn't eliminate it. The manual doesn't specify the exact type of silicone used, and it's unsafe to perform a flame test on motorized products. The motor created powerful, impressively silent vibrations. However, the buzziness of these vibrations really dropped the quality of experience.
Price
You can grind to these vibes for only $54.99. Couple's vibrators can cost as little as $44.99 (like the Satisfyer Double Plus), or as much as $199.99 (like the We-Vibe Chorus). This places the Romp Join on the low-end, in terms of price point. It comes with a quick start guide, safety instructions, USB charger, and stickers! If that's not enough, Romp offers a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. If one enjoys buzzy vibrations, it'd absolutely be worth the price.
Performance
The Romp Join is advertised as taking 90 minutes to charge and having 40-minutes of battery-life. It underwent thorough testing to verify these claims. I found that the vibrator ran for 40-minutes on the highest speed, 55-minutes on the lowest speed, and 60-minutes with a pattern. Each charge finished at almost exactly the 90-minute mark. The battery felt warm after continuous testing, but it never reached a concerning temperature. Additionally, the body-safe silicone created a water-tight seal over charging ports. It performed very well in and out of water.
Packaging
The Romp Join arrived in thermoformed PET and was encased in a compact, cardboard box. This protected the product during shipping, and it arrived intact. The graphics detailed the product's dimensions and specifications. Colors like pink, purple, and teal invoked calming energy, while a bright yellow streak added excitement. The box was simple to open, informative, recyclable, and aesthetically pleasing. What more could one ask for? Well, a storage bag. I do wish it came with a storage bag.
Materials and care
As mentioned, the Romp Join is composed of body-safe silicone. It should be used with water-based lubricant and separated from rubber/vinyl products. Clean before and after each use. Simply wash with silicone-safe cleanser and water. Allow it to fully dry before storing. Since this vibrator contains electronic components, it's important to avoid excessively high or low temperatures. Never boil or sterilize this product in the dishwasher! Only charge using the charger provided.
