My Verdict
I was a bit cautious of getting my hopes up about the ROMP Piccolo Pegging Kit. I was a bit worried about the adjustability and whether or not it would actually feel secure. While there was a bit of a learning curve to putting it on for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised by this strap-on kit. It fit me very well and the straps were easy to adjust once I got the hang of it. I like that the dildo and harness both have small pockets for a bullet vibrator so both the wearer and receiver can enjoy some added stimulation. I was surprised to see how small the dildo actually was, so it was perfect for pegging beginners like my partner and I. The dildo does almost seem a bit too small for the o-ring in the harness so it wasn't as secure as I would have wanted it to be. Although I'm sure this isn't a problem with slightly girthier dildos. All in all, I think it's a decent quality pegging kit that's both versatile and affordable.

Personal Experience
Pegging with Style
My first impression of the ROMP Piccolo Pegging Kit was that I really liked the color of the dildo, the packaging and the stickers it came with. It felt really playful and unintimidating. I’m also just a big fan of this style of sex toys with a pop of color (that isn’t “sex toy pink”). I don’t think I’m a big fan of how strap-ons look on me in general, but the dildo actually makes me feel more comfortable using it. Also, the fun stickers now adorn my desk and remind me of the ROMP Piccolo every day!
Strap-On Stability
What I did notice as I tried on the strap-on for the first time was that the dildo was almost too small for the o-ring. Since that o-ring isn’t adjustable in diameter (and there aren’t any other sizes included) the small dildo didn’t feel as secure as I had hoped. In practice, it wasn’t the biggest problem. It didn’t fall out or anything, I just noticed that I had less control over it. Going forward, however, I can imagine a dildo with a slightly larger diameter would fit more securely into the harness.Adjustability & Fit
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the harness fit perfectly around both my (plus-sized) hips and my thighs. Although, I will say that people much larger than me might not find enough range of adjustability. Be sure to check the measurements in the specifications and features table beforehand! Since this is my first strap-on with an actual harness, it did take a while to figure out how to put in on and tighten all the straps correctly. In the end, it was pretty easy to adjust and I know I can put it on in a jiffy when the time comes!Design
I really like the overall design of the ROMP Piccolo Pegging Kit. I especially like the colors and shape of the dildo. It's nice and colorful without being too overwhelming or weirdly gendered. The tip is great for anal penetration especially and the slight curve helps target the prostate or g-spot while thrusting. For us, the length and girth was perfect but I can see why more experienced users may want something a bit bigger. In a practical sense, I very much appreciate the bullet vibrator slots in both the harness and the dildo so both the wearer and receiver can enjoy some extra vibrations. The fact that the dildo has a suction cup base makes it much easier to use for solo play without the harness.
Ease of Use
As far as strap-ons go, I think the ROMP Piccolo Pegging Kit was incredibly easy to use! It's easy to adjust, the dildo is very beginner-friendly, it's easy to clean, etc. The only con I experienced here, is that the dildo was too small to fit securely into the o-ring in the harness. This did compromise the stability a bit.
Quality
I think the ROMP Piccolo Pegging Kit is a decent quality product. It works pretty well, has a cool design, and offers soem good adjustability. However, I wouldn't say it's a premium product because I didn't find the material super comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. In a premium quality product, I would also expect either a set of o-rings in different sizes or an o-ring that was a snug fit for this small dildo.
Price
Compared to other similar strap-on kits or pegging kits out there, I think the ROMP Piccolo Pegging Kit is super affordable. This is definitely a top recommendation for anyone on a budget that still wants a decent quality kit that offers a lot of versatility (e.g. the added vibrations and the suction cup dildo).
Performance
I think the size of the dildo was perfect for my partner and I since we're new to the world of pegging. I don't think it'll be quite satisfactory to more experienced peggers, though. It definitely lived up to my expectations in terms of the range of adjustability, but the material was not the most comfortable to wear over an extended period of time.
Packaging
I really liked the packaging for the ROMP Piccolo Pegging Kit! The box was nice and colorful and I really liked the stickers that came with it. I know it's a shame to judge a book by it's cover but sex toy packaging really does say a lot about a certain brand or product. In this case, the packaging gets a thumbs-up from me!
Materials and care
The dildo itself is made of non-porous silicone which means it is 100% body-safe, easy to clean with a mild soap and warm water, and it can even be sterilized in boiling water! The harness itself is made of SBR fabrics and nylon straps and is machine washable for thorough and easy cleaning. I do wish there was storage bag for everything, especially if I were bringing it on a trip and also needed to bring a bullet vibrator and charger etc.
