My Verdict
I was so excited to get my hands on the Sportsheets Pivot Protector! There is nothing worse than having some pre-bed fun and accidently making a mess that you have to clean up, so you don't sleep in a puddle. The Sportsheets Pivot Protector is a game changer! I can just lay it on the bed and throw it in the washer after all the while not having to change bedding. I love that it acts just has a blanket too and is waterproof. It was way more comfortable and softer than I expected. I am absolutely not disappointed!

About The Sportsheets Pivot Protector
The Sportsheets Pivot Protector is a 50" x 60" waterproof blanket. One side is plush/velvety feeling, and the other side is more felt feeling. There is a plastic waterproof lining between the two fabrics. The Sportsheets Pivot Protector is 90% polyester and 10% TPU. I use this blanket to keep my bedding dry during adult playtime. This can be used for alone playtime or with partner(s), it's helpful regardless of the mess that's going to be made!

Personal Experience
First Impressions
I was a bit skeptical at first as I doubted the waterproof aspect of a blanket. I was happily wrong about that! The Sportsheets Pivot Protector surprised me with the soft velvet feel as well. I was excited to feel how soft it is. It makes play time comfortable and clean.Almost Too Well
The only “complaint” I have on the Sportsheets Pivot Protector is that maybe it almost works a bit too well at being waterproof. When it has too much liquid on it, it doesn’t soak in and sits on top of the fabric. This is not a problem if you can be extra careful when folding it up, so you don’t accidently dump it on yourself or the floor when removing it.Play Time
I don’t use the Sportsheets Pivot Protector when I am on my own, but it has been a game changer with partners. It would never fail that we would try to be mindful and not get anything on the bed. We would turn out the lights and get comfortable then turn into an unsuspecting wet spot. Ugh! I absolutely hate that feeling! This makes it so I don’t have to even worry about it which is such a nice change and makes the bedtime routine quicker when you don’t have to change bedding every time you want to play. Or have a whole bunch of towels on hand…Design
The Sportsheets Pivot Protector looks like any other blanket you might have tucked away. I like this because nobody would really know what it is if they accidently came across it. It feels like a luxurious plush throw blanket. I love the simplicity in the look but with such a wonderful feel. I do have a hard time with the felt side not collecting hair, but I lay that side face down so that's not really a big deal for me.
Ease of Use
This could not be easier to use. Just lay the Sportsheets Pivot Protector on your play surface, play, then wash! There are washing instructions on the box. I personally wash it normal then hang it to dry. I have not had any issues with it moving around under me when I have it on my bed. I like to lay it over the top of my made-up bed.
Quality
I was really impressed with the quality of the Sportsheets Pivot Protector. Its thick in the sense it doesn't feel like it is going to tear if you get a bit rowdy but at the same time lightweight feeling. It has a sturdy binding holding all three layers together so there is no fear of unraveling or coming apart.
Price
The Sportsheets Pivot Protector is more on the expensive side. I am glad I have it and I love it, knowing what I do now I think I would spend this on another though since it keeps my furniture safe from my antics. I think if you get one it will last you quite a while and that helps justify the price as well.
Performance
The Sportsheets Pivot Protector surpassed my expectations by far! You never know what you are going to get with "waterproof" products. I feel like a lot of them that claim to be "waterproof" are more water resistant. I am so happy with the product and look forward to each time I get to use it! I wish I would have gotten one sooner now!
Packaging
Packaging definitely was not discreet! I don't mind that though. It showed exactly what it was used for and let you know how to care for it right on the packaging. Thats always helpful so you know this information before buying a product. Nobody wants to get an amazing product and find out its "dry clean only", I would definitely not take this blanket to the dry cleaners, ha! I liked the packaging design of the Sportsheets Pivot Protector though, informative and to the point.
Materials and care
I usually store the Sportsheets Pivot Protector folded up and under my bed after its been washed. Its inconspicuous in case someone noticed it but also close by. It's like weight and not bulky at all once folded up for storage. It does not come with any special bag or way to store it but honestly nobody would know the difference if you threw in the linen closet with the rest of your bedding.
