Ease Into the Essential

Design

The design of this dildo is beautiful. It’s classically shaped, “semi-realistic”, and made for a variety of uses in mind. The silicone is sleek and luxurious, and the dimensions are filling yet comfortable. My partner and myself both required a bit of a warmup to fully enjoy the toy, but were able to handle its size with no issues after a bit of time. My biggest personal gripe with this toy is its secondary ridge, as it’s quite a lot of sensation and my ass tends to be more fond of smoother textures. However my partner felt the opposite and actually quite enjoyed the sensations it delivered when inserting it vaginally, so to each their own! Another point I’d like to add is that although the base isn’t advertised as being a “suction cup”, if used on a flat, non porous surface, it will adhere rather well!

Ease of Use

So long as you have an appropriate amount of water based lube, you shouldn’t have any issues figuring out the best way to use your Essential Dildo. It did take a bit of warmup for me and my partner to be able to comfortably insert since neither of us are size queens, but once inside there are no issues.

Quality

The quality of the Essential Dildo is second to none. The platinum silicone is sleek and has minimal drag when inserted. There were no signs of air pockets, rough edges, or quality control issues present, which is always a concern when something is being handmade. Given the proper care, this dildo will last a lifetime.

Price

If you’re in the market for a high quality do it all dildo, then $65 is more than reasonable for the amount of quality you get. There aren’t any extras like lube or a storage bag included, but you do get top notch materials and a handcrafted one of a kind functional piece of art. The price does increase if you decide to get crazy with the colors, but at base price of $65 it’s tough to beat.

Performance

When I heard the claim, “This toy was made with every human on the planet in mind.”, I was a bit skeptical. But after experiencing the Essential, I have come to learn that this toy was really made for any and everything. From vaginal penetration, anal penetration, to strap-on play, this toy was a great all-a-rounder that dispelled any notion it was a one trick pony.

Packaging

The packaging is simple and nothing to write home about. The dildo comes in a ziplock style bag, along with three mini molds of the Uberrime Maximus dildo (in three different densities), and a card that outlines how to care for your new toy. I do wish they would’ve included a storage bag (you can use the ziplock bag but it’s not very sexy to pull a dildo out of a sandwich bag). I also which the densities of the mini dildos were listed so it would aid in any future purchases from Uberrime.

Materials and care

The platinum silicone used in creating the Essential dildo is top notch. It’s non-porous, easy to clean, and has an incredible glide when in use. Just make sure you only use water based lubricants as anything else could damage and breakdown the silicone of the toy. Also be sure to clean your toy after every use with your favorite toy cleaner or non scented antibacterial soap. To fully sanitize use a 10% bleach/water solution or boil for 5-10 minutes. Since there is no storage bag included I would recommend finding something to keep your toy covered when not in use as it has a tendency to attract hair/lint.
