My Verdict
The Bandit is large and in charge, that's for sure! As someone who is not so practiced in the art of big dildos, I wasn't sure how I would fare with it, but it surprised me with its approachability. The dual density Vixskin is wonderfully squishy and really ups the realism of the experience. I ended up having a fantastic time with it, after a good amount of warm up!

About The Vixen Creations Vixskin Bandit
The Vixskin Bandit from Vixen Creations is a large, dual-density dildo from silicone. It has a firm-but-flexible core and a squishy outer layer, making it feel pretty close to the real thing. The Bandit also has a flared base with balls and a pronounced glans at the tip, with realistic details like veins down the shaft. I got mine in the tie-dye colorway, but it also comes in three different skin tones.

Personal Experience
I can’t lie, I was intimidated by this bad boy. I was looking for a larger dildo to try, but when this one arrived, I did question my decision a little!
A Tall Drink of Water
What I liked about the Bandit was that it was large, but not so much so that it was completely unrealistic or unapproachable. I actually owned another Vixskin dildo already, the more petite Tex, but I haven’t reached for it much because it was just a little too short and overly squishy to provide enough sensation. That is not an issue with the Bandit! It was actually long enough for me to ride without needing to use my Liberator Birdi pillow harness to lift it up, and it stayed put on my bed without the need for a suction cup thanks to its large base. I could take my time and go as far as I wanted to, and the girth was super filling and satisfying without causing uncomfortable stretching.Maximum Squish
I think the key to the success of the Bandit is its dual density nature. The Vixskin technology gives it a firm, sturdy core and a gorgeously soft outer layer that is very comfortable to use. A toy of this size without that squishiness would be almost unusable for me. The head is especially soft and malleable, which makes insertion much less intimidating, but still provides a good amount of sensation as you thrust.Design
I do enjoy the design of the Vixskin Bandit. It's fairly simple and realistic without being (in my mind) grotesque or off-putting. The pronounced head feels fantastic, and the widening shaft is very satisfying. The tie-dye colors are also fun, but I like the skin tone varieties too.
Ease of Use
Of course, being a larger dildo, the Bandit is not the easiest to use in my collection. It requires me to warm up with a smaller dildo first as well as plenty of clitoral stimulation to get things going. I'm sure that won't be such an issue for regular big dildo users, however. The other issue is the squishiness. While it feels nice, it does mean that it can bend and flop around a little, though the firm core helps it stay upright. It also requires a very generous amount of lube, including reapplication if you're going for a longer session.
Quality
Every Vixen Creations dildo I've encountered has been very high quality, and this one is no exception. They use premium silicone that feels sturdy, smooth and squishy whilst remaining completely body-safe. I also couldn't find any manufacturing faults like bumpy seams or feathered edges.
Price
The Bandit is certainly not a cheap dildo. I found it being sold online for between $126 to $144, which is much more than most other dildos, even dual density ones. However, it is still very popular, and I think that's for good reason. This super high-quality dildo feels so luxurious and satisfying to use, and the dual density formula is one of the best out there. However, I do think that, for the price, they should include a storage pouch and some better packaging!
Performance
This is one of Vixen Creations' best-selling dildo models, and has lots of positive reviews online. It took me a little while to get to know it, but I've really come to love it too. It's so fun to ride, and even without a suction cup, stays in place well enough for me. Plus, that extra dose of realism is so enticing! It is also compatible with most strap-on harnesses, though it is quite heavy. I didn't end up using it that way though, given the size!
Packaging
I'm always disappointed by Vixen Creations' packaging. It's such a premium product that you would expect high-quality packaging, but instead the clear plastic clamshell feels like an afterthought. It's not such an issue for me, since I keep all of my toy collection in a special set of drawers, but others without a dedicated space might want a more discreet style of packaging to keep their dildo safe and away from prying eyes, especially since there is no storage pouch included.
Materials and care
The Bandit is made from platinum silicone that is flexible, tear-resistant and non-porous. The Vixskin outer layer is impregnated with silicone lubricant to make it extra soft and squishy. But wow, this thing collects dust and lint like it's nobody's business. As I was writing this review, I realized I had to take an extra photo, so I took it upstairs only to realize that it had brushed against my shirt, collected about half the fibers and now looked disgusting! So, then I had to take it back downstairs and rinse it off. I highly recommend you give it a rinse before every use to avoid getting any dust and dirt anywhere you really don't want it.
