Design

With a sleek, ergonomic design, the Womanizer Pro40 feels sturdy and well-fitted to handheld use. While a good weight to not feel flimsy, it’s still light enough to not fatigue your hands. The back of the toy has a silicone body so it's less likely to slip, e.g. in the shower or when things get wet. It’s easy to clean/wipe off, and the working end of the toy has a removable silicone covering for easy cleaning. The charging port also has a covering to prevent damage. As such, these features and the attractive two-toned design really caught my attention.

Ease of Use

The Womanizer Pro40 is simple to operate, though anyone with grip/vision impairments may have difficulties holding the toy or adjusting the intensity on the first couple uses. It lacks tactile labels on each button. Even so, the intensity buttons give immediate feedback so if you don't go the right direction the first time, the only alternative is the other. Pressing the power button while it is on intensities 2-6 will reset it to 1, and holding turns it off. If you have issues grasping objects smaller than the average banana, this product might not be for you.

Quality

I found that the Womanizer Pro40 is sturdy and built with quality materials that are lightweight but avoid feeling flimsy. I feel as though it was designed with the intended usage in mind, as it fits quite well into your hands. It features a removable silicone head for cleaning, and the charging port is covered by a rubber stopper to prevent water from going in. Even the packaging gave an air of consideration and care with how nicely everything fit into the box. It can handle water, dropping, and is relatively quiet.

Price

In the $100 USD range, the Womanizer Pro40 is not the cheapest sex toy on the market, nor would I say it's necessarily the most accessible in terms of price. While cheaper alternatives do exist, I would still stand by the Womanizer Pro40 because of its quality and how easy it is to clean and maintain. It comes with a charging cable, a manual, and the toy itself. Truthfully, I wish it came with a storage case or pouch for that price.

Performance

From what I have previously heard about suction toys, I had high hopes. The Womanizer Pro40 blew my expectations out of the water. It has a very long battery life for my rate of usage (daily, lasted more than 2 weeks on one charge), fully charges in roughly 2 hours, and never grew hot. The highest intensity is a little loud for my taste, but you should be ok for discreet play in a private room. I liked the vibrations, and the suction was surprisingly powerful without being painful.

Packaging

I found the box pretty and informative! The package of the toy is absolutely not discreet, with a fully-colored photo of the toy smacked on the very front of the box. That said, it has a panel displaying at-a-glance information about the toy, and on the opposite side is a panel with information about Lovehoney as a brand. It's a slide-to-open box, with custom moulded plastic to house the toy. Gives off the sense that the packaging was really thought through and it was meant to serve more of a purpose than just containment!

Materials and care

The Womanizer Pro40 is made out of body-safe silicone and plastic; it's non-porous and feels and looks high-quality, in my opinion. It's got a nice weight to it — feels hefty in your hand, but not so heavy to the point of fatiguing you when using it. It's also waterproof and very easy to clean with mild soap and a washcloth or your hands. While it does not come with a storage bag/box, it's very easy to store if you have a box or cloth bag that can keep it away from direct sunlight.
