I’ve had the pleasure of trying out another Bondage Boutique product, the Beginner’s Ball Gag, which will go perfectly with my new product review! The Bondage Boutique Soft Handcuffs are absolutely perfect for those just beginning to explore a bit of kink and BDSM. They are soft, comfy, adjustable and best of all, they’re extremely affordable!Not My First Rodeo!
Now, I have dabbled with BDSM products over the years, including different types of handcuffs – metal, furry, leather, and now soft. I highly prefer these soft cuffs for several reasons. First and foremost, they are comfortable, breathable, and don’t leave any bruises or marks on my wrist. Secondly, they can be adjusted to be a big looser or tighter, depending on the mood. And finally, the Bondage Boutique Soft Handcuffs can be used with other products from the brand, as the D-ring clips are compatible.Surprisingly Secure
The Bondage Boutique Soft Handcuffs are surprisingly secure, considering they are made from fabric and padding with a Velcro closure. The claw clips hook together, and no matter how hard I pulled, I couldn’t get them to pop apart. However, if you need to get out of the cuffs quickly, the Velcro easily comes apart. Heck, if you want to break yourself loose, you can use your teeth to pull the strips of Velcro!They Work for Everyone!

The design of the Soft Handcuffs by Bondage Boutique is well done! They are slightly padded, made to be easily adjustable to fit most wrist sizes, and the rings and Velcro are all sewn on very well. The fabrics include breathable neoprene and a luxurious velour on the outside. The clips are made from metal, and swivel so they don't get stuck, allowing for better movement. I really enjoyed how comfortable they were, as well as being sturdy. I found them to be ideal for light bondage play.
Ease of Use
The Bondage Boutique Soft Handcuffs are so easy to use! They wrap around the wrist and close via a long, Velcro strip. Then, they easily connect together with metal claw clips. Therefore, there are no buckles, metal cuffs or keys to mess with. These soft cuffs are absolutely perfect for those with small motor difficulties, weak wrists or delicate skin that easily bruises or gets abrasions. Plus, the claw clips are easy to operate with a button that slides up and down fluidly, so they're perfect if the one cuffing you has hand mobility issues.
Quality
For the incredible, affordable price, the Bondage Boutique Soft Handcuffs are so well made, padded, comfortable and so easy to use! The fabric is top quality, the rings and clips are made from metal. Plus, the sewing is top notch! Even pulling, wiggling and struggling while wearing these cuffs, they hold together so well. Plus, the interior neoprene is soft and breathable, while the outside, sensual velour looks and feels amazing and expensive. I still can't believe these cuffs are so cheap!
Price
These soft handcuffs are unbelievably inexpensive considering how well they are made, as well as the quality of the materials. You get nothing but the cuffs in the package, but that's all you need! At the time of this review (June, 2024) they were only $16.99 for the set, which is incredible, in my opinion. So if you have ever wanted to try a little light bondage, this is your chance to get a fantastic, well-made product at a phenomenal price!
Performance
Performance-wise, the Bondage Boutique Soft Handcuffs worked far better than I expected. Considering the price, I really thought these cuffs would be cheap. Instead, they are made well, sturdy, sewn with care and are made with really nice materials - neoprene, velour, Velcro and real metal clasps on swivels. The cuffs are padded perfectly, not too thick, not too thin, and incredibly comfortable. The Velcro closure allowed me to get a perfect fit, and because of the fabric, moving around didn't tighten them, the way metal cuffs operate. The swivel clips allowed me to move my wrists a bit, yet stay confined. And no matter how hard I pulled on the cuffs, they didn't pull apart.
Packaging
The packaging with the Bondage Boutique Soft Handcuffs couldn't be any more simple. They came in a transparent, thick plastic bag. Inside, the cuffs have a little Bondage Boutique tag attached to the cuffs. And that's it. You have to tear the package to get it open, so the bag will likely go straight into the trash. But considering the cuffs use Velcro closure, you can easily connect them together for storage using that or the clips.
Materials and care
The Bondage Boutique Soft Handcuffs are made from neoprene, Velcro and a super-soft velour on the outside. Considering that the cuffs are worn around the wrists, they shouldn't get too dirty. However, if they get a great deal of use, you can wipe them down using a wet, warm washcloth and then air dried. Or, you can add them to the wash, using cold water and on a gentle setting. Then, lay them out to air dry.
