My Verdict
So I really love the Liberator Jaz and think it can make a lot of positions noticeably more pleasurable and more comfortable. The only thing I would love to change is how it slips out of place, but I also wouldn't want to give up the luxurious softness of the microvelvet cover, so... This is a pretty expensive investment, and it's definitely not an essential but if you have the budget, it's a great prop to have!

My Impressions of the Liberator Jaz
The Lure of Liberator Luxury
Ever since I first saw the Liberator shapes range, I’ve wanted to try one. Partly because I know how much difference a strategically placed pillow can make but also because it’s such a luxurious sex furniture and that soft velvet just calls out to me! The other part of the reason was that I just had to know if they were really worth the pretty hefty price tag.Regular Pillow vs Liberator Jaz
There really is no contest here! The Liberator Jaz knocks it out of the park and then some. Sure you get a decent bit of lift with a regular pillow, but that usually falls flat pretty quickly or else you have to stack a few to get the right height and then they need to be adjusted and cajoled back into place. Not with the Liberator Jaz — the firm foam holds it shape so well, even during missionary sex, keeping you supported while still being soft enough to be comfortable. It was a game-changer!All About the Angles
The other amazing feature of the Jaz is the angle. I won’t say it transformed penetrative sex but it definitely made me go Oh in a very good way! It helped penetration feel a little deeper — although maybe deeper isn’t what I enjoyed the most — it was more that it felt more intimate, in a physical sense, because the angle raises and opens your whole genital area creating more contact. This is also a huge bonus for oral sex as it your partner gets easy access to everything and it’s a much more comfortable for them as they don’t have to bring their head all the way down. I also really loved using it together with my Under Bed Restraint System, as it made it gave easy access while still being tied to the bed.Design Elements that Define the Liberator Jaz
The Liberator Jaz comes with a luxurious velvet cover that feels incredibly soft and sensual. There are five colors to choose from — cyan, rose, red, black, and grey. I was pretty happy to get the black edition as it's nice neutral design that doesn't stand out too much. The size and angle of the Jaz is best suited to smaller or average sized bodies. The discreet design also means you can leave the Jaz lying around and no-one will have any idea what it's really used for! You only know, if you know!
The Simplicity of Liberator Jaz: My User Experience Unveiled
So the pillow itself is pretty easy to use, just slip it under you in any position that could benefit from some extra support or elevation. I did have to knock a few points off though as it does tend to slide out of position pretty easily, especially when the top person is thrusting more energetically! The velvety cover feels amazing on your skin but that also gives it a slippery quality.
Does the Liberator Jaz deliver on quality?
I was very impressed by the quality of the Liberator Jaz. The cover is deliciously soft and the zip seems like a solid construction that will withstand taking the cover on and off for cleaning. The foam is wonderfully dense and retains it's shape under my body, providing a good amount of lift and support.
Save or splurge: Looking at the price tag
The Jaz is one of the cheaper original shapes from Liberator, but it's still not that cheap! It does however provide a good amount of support during sex and does add it feels super luxurious. If you have experimented with using some regular cushions and found that you liked the extra height and support, I would say it's worth the investment. Unlike a regular pillows, it doesn't lose it's shape during play which is a big plus!
Pleasure Check: How does Liberator Jaz Measure Up?
The Jaz performs well in a range of positions, my favorite are for oral sex and under your hips during good old missionary for a better angle of penetration. The other magical quality of the Jaz is that it allows for deeper penetration that really takes things up a notch. The pillow keeps it shape well while still being comfy. It's not the biggest pillow so might not be the best option if you have a bigger body or are very tall. As I mentioned earlier, my only complaint is that it's a bit slippery, meaning you can kind slide off the back of it and need to readjust.
The Unboxing Experience: A Review
The Liberator Jaz comes vacuum packed in a large, sturdy box. The design of the packaging didn't really do much for me. I'm not really a fan of the whole woman in their underwear thing on sex toy packaging. I prefer something more neutral, but the packaging doesn't matter so much in the grand scheme of things. I did like that the packaging includes some images with ideas on how to use the Jaz. Although, it would be even better if it didn't only show cis-het couples!
