My Experience With Satisfyer Penguin
Clitoral suction toys were an aquired taste for me. The first time I tested one, I admit that I wondered what all the fuss was about. Why was everyone raving about these things? But I’m glad I persevered through the initial challenges, because now I frequently reach for this type of toy.
Finding the Right Position
On my first go around, the problem I encountered with the Penguin was that the stimulation was so intense it was almost painful. If this is your experience, I recommend experimenting with different positioning to see if you can find a way of using it that’s comfortable for you. My usual position for masturbating is on my back with my legs spread. However, after a little trial and error, I discovered that suction toys actually work best for me with my legs much closer together than normal. I think it’s something to do with the positioning of the clitoral hood, which protects the sensitive glans clitoris from being overstimulated. I prefer to use the Penguin from above, focusing on my clitoral hood, or sometimes from the left side.Getting to Orgasm
It takes me a while to orgasm with suction-based toys such as the Penguin. Some people have reported that these toys get them off in record time, but this is not my experience. But I don’t mind the slow burn style of play, because the eventual orgasm is always impressively explosive! Clitoral suction toys are often sold as an equivalent to oral sex from a partner. I can sort of see the comparison, in that the pressure waves caress your clit in a way that is a little like a lover’s tongue. The sensation of the Satisfyer Penguin can be gentle or intense, depending on positioning and the setting you use. With vibrators, I often begin on the highest setting and stay there. The shape of its body is ergonomic and comfortable to hold, even for someone with small hands like me. Interestingly, the silicone of its nozzle is noticeably thinner than many other suction toys I've tried. This isn't really a pro or a con, just an observation. It's small in size and very light, making it comfortable to use and easy to take with you when you're travelling or off on a hot date.
Ease of Use
Suction-based sex toys do take some practice. The Satisfyer Penguin is one of the easier products to use when you get to grips with it, however.
