Why I Chose It

As a huge lover of the weekly games night, you can imagine how much my tail was wagging when I discovered that it was going to get a whole lot more exciting. The Lovehoney Oh! Talk Dirty Playing Cards are an excellent way of spicing up your bedtime antics between you and a partner. I love how versatile these cards are and how they can be used by anyone – from the lower number cards having less spicy suggestions, which are perfect for beginners – compared to the higher number cards which have spicer prompts for the more brave and daring partners.

This pack allows provides prompts and suggestions to help draw out the anxiety that comes with asking ‘awkward’ questions to you partner. Why I Chose It

I would say I have always been one to own up when I was holding in a secret, but on the other hand, I like to keep my cards close to my chest. I knew all my dirty little secrets were going to going to be laid on the table when I saw this Lovehoney Oh! Confessions Card Game, and if I am honest, I am not mad about it… If I can speak for us all, telling out partners out fantasies and secrets can be challenging, and even asking what we want to ask sometimes is even harder, that’s why I love this deck so much.

With 52 different cards asking would you rather questions or pick a choice, you can choose a new card for every week of the year, or use them all in one session! For the most daring couples, this isn’t the most risky pack, so if you are looking for very raunchy would you rather questions, then I wouldn’t suggest these. But for beginners or people that find it hard to ask their partner questions, it is a great ice-breaker or way add more spice into the relationship. With some spicy forfeit questions if you don’t answer the would you rather questions, this pack is a great idea for a stay at home date night.

Our tester Is, is someone who is “in a relationship where sex is a common topic of conversation”, and found the cards slightly tame, or suggested ideas of things that they regularly talk about. Despite this, she says that she would “recommend them to partners who want to start having more open sexual conversations but aren’t sure how to start.” If this sounds like you, then I would recommend adding these to your Lovehoney basket!

Why I Chose It

We’ve all been a beginner somewhere along the line, so when I saw this Tracey Cox Supersex Sex Position Card Deck, I knew I had to recommend it as my ‘Best for Beginners’ pick. With a visual demonstration, using actual people and not just silhouettes, as well as a ‘How’, ‘Why’ and ‘Try’ explanation, this deck is great for those of you who need inspiration on different positions that you might not have tried yet.

Starting off with an explanation of how to perform the movement, as well as the physical picture, is great of understanding a new position. My favourite feature of this pack is the ‘Why’ section of each card. It is a quick way of understanding why you might want to perform that position, or why you might NOT want to!

Flip the cards over and blindly choose a position based on what you want to try or feel! I love this feature, it makes you feel like there are 2 games in 1! Rachel liked the cards, saying “The cards really explain things well, and the large format makes everything easier to see when the card is on the bed next to you.”

It is a shame that this pack only offers suggestions and positions for heterosexual couples, and it would have been nice to have a mix of cards. Most card games I have seen recently have been focussing on heterosexual couples, and it would be nice to be more inclusive.

Why I Chose It

Despite this, our tester Kasia explained that the cards were “slightly spicer than some of the other games I have tried”. Just because it doesn’t come with the most intense leather and chains, doesn’t mean you cant swap that part out!

Truth or dare? Well truthfully, I think this might be the most exciting set I have seen! If you are willing to splash the cash, and I mean really spend a fair amount of dollars, then I would agree that this set is a great investment! With a large candle and rechargeable vibrator, this set will last you for ages!
