My Verdict
This is ONLY cock ring that I've ever tried and actually enjoyed! The shape, the vibes, the fit — it's got it all! As someone who loves clitoral vibrations during penetrative sex, I'm so happy to have another toy in my collection that gives the stimulation I want without having to hold anything. My partner also found it enjoyable to wear. the stretchy ring is comfortable and he liked the extra stimulation about the base of his penis.

Personal Experience
Finally, A Cock Ring Done Right
My quest for hands-free clitoral stimulation during penetrative sex lead me to try a few different vibrating cock rings only to be disappointed and eventually, I swore off them all together. But I’m so happy I gave them one last shot with Tenga SVR+. Tenga are known for their innovative, minimalist designs and they have done an amazing job of redesigning the traditional cock ring. Flipping the vibrating part so it sits vertically rather than horizontally makes it so much easier to create and maintain contact with the clitoris. I found this works best in riding positions as I could grind against the vibrating part but it’s also easy to press the vibrator into your body in other positions as well.Power Up
The Tenga SVR+ is the new version and it’s been given a serious power upgrade with this motor being 1.5 times stronger than the previous version. I’ve always been a little skeptical of Tenga vibrators because they tend towards being quite gentle in the vibration department and I crave a good amount of power. I was so impressed by the power of the SVR+ that on the day it arrived, I brought it into the Bedbible office so we could all marvel at it’s power! Is it as strong as my beloved Doxy Die Cast? As this is a couple’s toy, I also got my partner’s perspective of wearing the SVR+. He reported that it’s definitely designed more for my pleasure than his. That being said, he still enjoyed it! It felt good to have something around the base of the shaft as that usually only gets stimulation during deep penetration. Why it took any sex toy company so long to make a well designed vibrating cock ring is beyond me but thank the sex toy Gods Tenga got there! The long, thin vibrator sits so much better between the labia and against the clitoris than the traditional ones that sat horizontally at the top of the ring. The cock ring is also very stretchy and relatively thin and the vibrator isn't super chunky, so it feels very unobtrusive and doesn't get in the way at during sex. It also works well as a clit vibrator. As it's small and has a hard plastic case, I can also see the SVR+ being a great travel toy! My only gripe is with the name — SVR stands for Smart Vibe Ring, which gives the impression that it has some kind of 'smart' interactive capabilities.
Ease of Use
With one large button, the Tenga SVR+ couldn't be easier to use. The only downside to that design is having to cycle through the settings to find the one you want. However as there are only 5 intensities and 3 patterns it's not a huge problem. The cock ring is very stretchy, making it easy to put on and it stays in place very well.
Quality
The SVR+ feels like a top quality toy. The vibrator feels sturdy and doesn't rattle and the cock ring is stretchy but strong. It doesn't heat up during use. At 40 minutes, the battery life could be longer, but it definitely lasts a few uses. The vibrations are quite quiet on the lower settings and a little loud on the higher settings but not enough to be distracting. The max volume I recorded when holding the SVR+ next to my phone was 40 decibels on the highest setting.
Price
The Tenga SVR+ is at the higher end of the price range for a vibrating cock ring. It's similarly priced to other app-controlled cock rings, and although the SVR doesn't have app controls, I think that having a design that actually works and decent vibrations is worth the money. It also comes with a stylish black case to store the cock ring and small USB charging connecter.
Performance
The Tenga SVR+ actually exceeded my expectations and has made me enjoy cock rings for the first time ever! I was pleasantly surprised by the power of the vibrations, which are more than enough for a good time! I also really appreciate that they aren't buzzy or numbing so I can enjoy them for longer. In some positions, there wasn't enough pressure between the vibrating motor and my body but that's impossible to avoid and I won't mark it down for that.
Packaging
I thought the packaging was very tasteful. It reminded me of some kind of tech accessory. The outer sleeve has a simple image of the toy and the Tenga Logo and the inner box contains the storage box with the cock ring and charging connector inside and a small guide booklet.
Materials and care
The Tenga SVR+ is made of silicone, and it's waterproof up to 20 inches so it's nice and easy to clean with some warm water and fragrance free soap. The hard plastic case is also a big plus! It keeps the ring safe and clean between uses and makes it easy to find in a sea of black satin sex toy storage bags!
