Design

The Tentacle Grinder 2 stands out in its design. The tentacle curves naturally against the body when you grind against the silicone. Inserting a personal bullet vibrator into the grinder makes the ride extra multilayered in experience. The aquatic design allows the grinder to ride over the suction cups for a more complex, multi-textured experience, or ride over the smooth, flowing bumps down the center of the tentacle for a more singular experience. I love the marbling green of the Tentacle Grinder I received—a light and dark green swirling together. The only design edit I will recommend is about the straps for partner play: I feel the strap design can be improved to give a more joyful ride for the partner wearing the grinder. (My partner noted the straps don't stay in place and are uncomfortable).

Ease of Use

I feel the Tentacle Grinder 2 can be used in so many ways, you can easily find a use that works for you! In addition, the grinder wonderfully fulfills its use as a grinder, with its soft yet sturdy silicone and the curve of the tentacle guiding the body to grind back and forth. There only a few details I found cumbersome. One was initially I had a difficult time placing one of my personal bullet vibes in the grinder's provided hole; However, once I tried coating the bullet in lubricant, I no longer had that difficulty. I also found using the straps on a partner required more fuss and fidgeting than I would have liked. On the positive, the straps worked very well when strapped to a pillow.

Quality

The Tentacle Grinder 2 is indeed a high quality product. I'm not normally a grinder-kind-of-gal, but the high quality of the silicone, the thoughtfulness and attention to detail in the design, and the ability to customize the experience, all come together to make a quality toy. I love just looking at the Tentacle Grinder 2. I really like the sea green colors marbled into the silicone of my grinder, and you can be assured you'll like your Grinder's colors, given all the color choices and patterns. I also found the Tentacle Grinder is one of the larger grinders I've used; Because of this fact, I feel there's amble room to move my body when grinding. The only quality piece I would like to see improved is the comfort-ability and usability of the straps for leg use.

Price

The Tentacle Grinder 2 is a mid-range to high expense sex toy, but I feel for a handmade, unique, and high-quality grinder, the price is well worth spending. I appreciate how you can modify the cost by tailoring your purchase without any extras, and according to your budget, experience, and preferences, you can add more features as you wish. Whether you add any extra features or not, the Grinder is a handmade product through the company Uncover Creations. And the quality is there: There is care put into the design of the grinder and the silicone is high quality. I noticed, too, how Uncover Creations will have special offers, such as price sales and adding extra gifts to your order. In my order, I received a cute, little squishy grinder replica/mini; I've been using this as a stress reliever and am thoroughly enjoying the squish!

Performance

The Tentacle Grinder 2 surpassed my expectations. I love how this toy not only lives up to its promise of providing amble external stimulation, but the Tentacle design allowed me to imagine and play with fantasies of being in the sea and to use my imagination when I incorporated the Grinder into play. In addition to the previous positives, I love how I can use my favorite bullet toys to ride the vibes when I use the grinder. I do wish the vibes of the bullet toys permeated the silicone more, as I only felt moderate vibrations through the silicone even with my strongest vibes. I also wish the straps were easier to use with a partner, because I really enjoy bringing toys into partner play.

Packaging

The Tentacle Grinder 2 came through the mail in a nondescript paper box wrapped in black tissue paper. If you are looking for discreet packaging, this box fits the need! I certainly have toys with colorful and artful boxes, but I don't mind the Grinder came in a plain cardboard box with paper wrap: I'd rather the energy and care go into making the product itself than the box. Also, of all the sex toys I've reviewed, the Grinder's box is the most discreet, which I know is important to some folks. Furthermore, the Grinder is made to order, so I feel there is less need to be able to see details of the toy you are purchasing, since you are customizing your purchase to your specific needs.

Materials and care

The Tentacle Grinder 2 is made of body-safe silicone through and through. The silicone of the grinder is solid and nonporous, which means bacteria and other materials don't leach into the toy's material, and the toy washes away clean. As such, the Uncover Creations folks recommend you can clean the grinder in various ways: You can place your toy in the dishwasher; boil your toy in water; in the unlikely event you have an autoclave- use that; or soak your toy for 10 minutes in a 10% bleach solution. If you use silicone or grease-based lubricants, the instructions say you may have to use a stronger detergent to ensure that the lubricant is removed. To note, the grinder does not come with a storage bag or box.

Special feature

One of the special features you can add to your grinder is a bullet vibrator hole. This hole is through the bottom of the grinder and ends in the top silicone layer of the Tentacle Grinder 2. Mine did come with this hole and I tried various bullet vibrators inside the grinder. I found the vibrator strength (even with my most powerful vibrators) only reached medium strength through the silicone. So, I often use the Grinder as a wonderful warm up toy and transition to a more powerful way of receiving vibes, as someone who needs high vibration settings in the end.
