My Verdict
I really love the design and quality of this beautiful gag from UPKO. The red and gold design is incredibly sexy and the materials are fantastic quality! It's also very comfortable to wear thanks to the cute heart-shaped breathing hole and silicone straps on the mouth piece. Quality and design-wise, I really cannot fault it. However, UPKO writes that it can be worn with the dildo part inside the mouth, which I found out isn't possible and was a little disappointed by. The dildo is also quite small so won't be the most filling for the person being penetrated but it could still add some fun to face riding.

The UPKO dildo gag is a beautifully designed gag made from Italian leather. It has a silicone ball gag with a small dildo attached to it. It has a heart shaped cut out that also functions as a breathable hole for comfort while wearing the gag. It fastens at the back of the head with gold-colored, zinc alloy buckle. Personal Experience
BDSM but Make it Beautiful
I have limited experience with gags, so I was quite intimidated by the idea of a dildo gag. However, when I opened the box, I was really pleased to see that both the ball gag and dildo were nice and petite. The beautiful design also made it much more appealing! I love that UPKO have gone beyond the standard black BDSM design to craft a range of products that feel elegant and sexy while still having some edge to them!One Way Road
First I tried the gag on with the dildo facing outwards and loved how it looked. The red and gold are sexy and eye catching and really make a statement. If I had a partner that enjoyed being penetrated, I can imagine this being a lot of fun for face riding. However, my partner and I were more interested in using this with the dildo facing inwards for a more intense ball gag experience. Having checked UPKOs description to see if this was possible, I was a little disappointed to find that it didn’t have a reversible buckle or any way to turn the gag around. I tried to fasten the buckle with the fastening on the inside but it wasn’t possible because it would simply slip undone. While it wasn’t exactly what I was hoping it would be, it’s still one of the most gorgeous dildo gags I’ve come across, and I would highly recommend it for anyone who has a partner that wants to ride their face and enjoys a smaller dildo.Design
UPKO stands for Unique Powerful Keen and Original, and I would definitely describe the design as unique, powerful and original and that makes me keen to use it! I love finding a BDSM product that also feels sexy to wear and this dildo gag certainly does that. The red leather and gold hardware look fantastic together and the small details, like the heart cut out and UPKO logo on the hardware really are the icing on the cake. I think this really elevates what BDSM can look like!
Ease of Use
I really like that the gag has heart-shaped tube through the ball and dildo, as it's much easier to breath during use. Putting the gag on with the dildo facing outwards (to pleasure a partner) couldn't be easier. Simply place the ball in your mouth and have your partner fasten it behind your head. I was disappointed that it didn't have reversible buckles though, as the website says you can wear the gag with the dildo in your mouth (for more intense restriction) and the ball facing outwards. I wasn't able to find a way to make this work, unfortunately.
Quality
The quality of this gag really is flawless and I'm really impressed by the attention to detail. The leather feel great quality, and I love that it has smooth finished edges. The hardware is all sturdy and has a lovely shiny finish. And, most importantly, the gag and connecting pieces are made of silicone.
Price
UPKO isn't your usual BDSM company, I see them as more of a designer brand with a kinky side, and of course, that's going to be pricier than your usual BDSM equipment. You really are paying for the luxurious design and quality materials. Not being able to wear the gag both ways as advertised makes the price seem less reasonable.
Performance
The gag was very comfortable to wear, and I like the beginner friendly size and the breathable design. It provides a good amount of restriction without being too intense to wear for longer periods. The silicone side straps attached the gag also make it sit comfortably at the sides of the mouth. I didn't really get to test out the dildo portion of the gag as I was intending to wear the gag with the dildo facing inward. It's a relatively small dildo, but I still think it could be fun to use with a partner who's into penetration or humiliation play.
Packaging
The UPKO packaging definitely has a premium feel to it and the illustration on the front definitely fits with their designer aesthetic. It features an artistic illustration of a man restrained and blindfolded on his knees being gently dominated by what I think is a crow man. Sounds a little crazy but actually I think it's a really cool design! I also like that it is subtle in it's BDSM nature. I would say it's relatively discreet if you don't look too close! Inside the box, the gag was wrapped in a plastic bag with another plastic seal over the gag part.
Materials and care
I love that the gag is made of silicone, so it's hygienic and easy to clean! I like to clean mine using dish soap. The only tricky bit is cleaning in the heart cut out hole. I just make sure to flush it with warm soapy water. I do recommend trying to keep the leather straps as dry as possible when cleaning the gag, which can be a little tricky, but worth the effort to prolong the quality of the leather. I like to leave it out to air dry to make sure it's completely dry. Unfortunately, it didn't come with a storage bag unlike my other UPKO products.
