Why I Chose It
Choosing the best sex toy for women was no easy feat, as we are all unique! However, after a lot of consideration I chose the We-Vibe Tango X because I really think it has something to offer most people! It’s got some of the best vibrations I’ve experienced in a smaller toy, it’s super versatile, and it’s affordable!
I actually waited a long time to get my hands on the We-Vibe Tango X, but I’m so happy I finally got one! Rachel reviewed it for us, and it’s still her all time favorite sex toy to this date!
My absolute favorite thing about the Tango X is it’s incredibly rumbly vibrations. On the lowest setting, it feels almost like a tapping more than a vibration and it doesn’t gets buzzy or numbing, like many other small vibes do.
Rachel really loved how the lipstick shaped tip “allows for incredibly precise stimulation on the point, while the flat side of the tip is great for broader massaging.”
She was also a big fan of the ABS plastic, as it “feels so smooth, never drags on the skin (even when you’re not using lube), and allows you to get really firm with your stimulation.” I also enjoy the sensation but found it made it slide around more, especially during partnered use, making it hard to direct the pinpoint stimulation.
Rachel loves the We-Vibe Tango X so much it’s her go to for both partnered and solo sex! I find myself reaching for mine when I want something easier and smaller than a wand!
Runner Up Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3
- Suction stimulator with optional
- App-enabled
Vibrations
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Body-safe silicone body and mouth
- ✅ Air Pulse, Liquid Air and vibrations all in one!
- ✅ Easy to connect to the Satisfyer app
Cons
- ❌ Can feel a little jumpy
- ❌ Pretty loud, especially on higher settings
- ❌ Vibrations feel quite buzzy
Why I Chose It
I gave the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation the runner up spot as it’s a fantastic clitoral suction toy with a lot of versatility. It’s also a fair bit cheaper than the clit suckers while still delivering some quality stimulation! Not to mention our tester, Rachel, was blown away by it, commenting “The new Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 hits all of the marks for me, and has given me some absolutely spectacular orgasms!”
You might recognise this toy, as it’s previous version has become a somewhat iconic female sex toy, but this new version has some really great upgrades! The first is the ‘liquid air technology,’ which is a thin silicone cover that can sit over the mouth, creating a fluttering feeling.
Rachel, loved this addition and thought it “might actually be among the closest sensations to oral sex that a toy can produce.” She loved how it felt “like a soft, fluttering tongue that you can tease your clitoris with or press down for satisfyingly firm pressure.”
Unlike the original, it also has vibrations. Rachel found them “pretty buzzy” but I like that you can control them separately, so if buzzy vibrations aren’t your thing you can just enjoy the suction stimulation!
Another great upgrade is the addition of the app controls! Rachel tried it out and found it was “very easy to connect” and she “didn’t experience the toy disconnecting at all,” which for a lower price toy is very impressive!
Best on a Budget Dame Dip
- Ergonomic shape with curved tip
- Simple one-button control
Vibrations
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Comfortable to hold
- ✅ Luxury feel on a budget
- ✅ Travel-friendly
Cons
- ❌ Might not be strong enough for some
- ❌ No patterns
- ❌ No storage bag
Why I Chose It
The Dame Dip is the definition of affordable luxury! This aesthetic silicone vibrator is by far the best cheap vibrator I’ve come across!
Our reviewer, Edie, “absolutely love everything about the Dame Dip’s design” and was surprised that it’s “extremely affordable for the top-notch quality it presents.”
She was also happy to find “the vibrations are right in the middle, so not too buzzy, and the perfect amount of rumbly,” making it a real crowd pleaser!
Another big plus is that the “Dip is quiet enough not to wake the kids or disturb room mates.” I also think the Dame Dip makes for a great travel vibe as it’s small and has a travel lock!
Best for Beginners Maude Vibe
- Simple one-button control
- Three vibration speeds
Vibrations
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Easy to use
- ✅ Attractive, non-intimidating design
- ✅ Ranges from very mild to moderately strong
Cons
- ❌ May be too basic for some
- ❌ Not fully submersible
- ❌ No vibration patterns
Why I Chose It
If I was starting my sex toy adventure all over again, I think the Maude Vibe would be the best introduction! It’s simple and non-intimidating whilst also being high-quality and beautiful to look at! It’s also a steal at under $50!
Our tester Oli thought the “Maude Vibe finds the perfect mix between basic controls and pleasure, offering an awesome vibrator for beginners.”
The Maude only has three set speeds, but in my opinion, this simplicity is exactly what you want in a starter toy!
When testing the toy, Oli found the “first setting is too mild” but once she tried the second and third levels, she “was surprised by their strength!” Having a very gentle first speed is great for beginners that might be more sensitive!
She also enjoy “the softness of the silicone covering over the firmness of the toy itself,” making it very comfortable to use.
Best Internal Toy njoy Pure Wand
- Two different sizes balls
- Curved for easy g-spot stimulation
- Weighted
Specifications
Pros
- ✅ Fantastic for intense G-spot massage
- ✅ Can be heated or cooled
- ✅ Impeccable quality

Cons
- ❌ Heavy
- ❌ Looks intimidating (but isn't, I promise)
Why I Chose It
You might be thinking I’m mad picking a hunk of metal as the best dildo for women, and I too was a little wary when I first got mine. But OH BOY that was soon replaced with wonder! This amazing steel dildo helped me unlock g-spot pleasure like never before! And I’m not alone in that, this dildo is a cult classic has become known as the squirting dildo, and for good reason!
The weight and curve of the Pure mean it nestles into the G-spot, providing a deep massage without needing to use a lot of effort. You can massage in circles or rock it back and forth and it just feels heavenly! G-spot vibrations never did it for me but this certainly did!
I was also surprised by how much I enjoyed the stainless steel. It’s so smooth and slides beautifully, and I love that it can be heated or cooled.
