My Verdict
I'll be honest — I had zero expectations going into this. You see, I'm not a very big fan of clitoral vibes (unless they're suction toys, then I'm the #1 fan!), so I really thought DOT Travel would be a "meh" sort of experience for me like most clitoral vibes are. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this vibe because of the pinpoint stimulation and how travel-friendly the toy actually is.

Personal Experience
Clitoral Exploration
After the first use, I knew the DOT Travel would remain in my sex toy collection for years. I’ve never tried a pinpoint vibe before, so I was a bit skeptical, especially because I don’t like clitoral vibrators too much. However, the pinpoint stimulation offers a very different experience from a regular clitoral vibe, and I loved it. I had the best time using the very tip to stimulate different parts of my vulva and even my clitoris. One of the selling points of the DOT Travel is that it’s designed with travel in mind, as it’s much smaller than the original DOT. I do travel a lot throughout the year, and I often struggle to choose the toy to travel with. Most of my toys are either too big, bulky, or would be too loud to use while I’m away, but DOT Travel might have solved this issue for me. I took it with me when I went to visit my long-distance partner, and it was definitely a great experience. The toy is so compact and small that it fits perfectly anywhere. I only took my backpack with me this time around, and it took up barely any space. The DOT Travel does have a travel lock, which is activated by pressing the “+” and “-” buttons at the same time and holding them for three seconds. Another reason I enjoyed the DOT Travel was that it was the perfect vibrator for erogenous zone exploration. Most vibrators are too big or simply don’t have the same effect when the vibrations cover a large surface. However, the pinpoint vibe allows for much smoother and more effective exploration. I used it on my nipples first to see if the vibrations would feel good, and they did. Holding the very tip against the nipple gave a completely different sensation from when I pressed the vibe harder against the skin and the tip was flat. It's sturdy and heavy but still very comfortable to hold in your hand. Most importantly, the way the buttons are integrated makes them easy to press when you need to change the vibration speed or pattern without the risk of pressing them on accident mid-action when you don't want to.
Ease of Use
Honestly, I think the DOT Travel might have been the easiest toy I've ever had to use, which surprised me. Because of its unusual shape and precise stimulation, I thought there would be a learning curve, but it was super straightforward and easy to use from the get-go. The first time I used it, it felt like I'd done it before, which made the whole experience much smoother and pleasurable. I think the shape makes it easy to hold for most people, even at different angles, which is always a plus.
Quality
The toy looks and feels extremely premium. Despite the compact size, it feels sturdy and weighty in your hand. The control buttons are seamlessly integrated and work smoothly, which adds to the premium experience. The vibrations are powerful even on the lowest setting, which surprised me. They're pretty rumbly, and the toy itself is quiet and discreet — I tested the toy while moving, so I had to stay for a bit at my mom's place in between apartments, and I used the DOT Travel without the fear of someone hearing me in the other room.

While this particular toy is one of the most affordable sex toys LELO has, it's still a bit pricey at $99. I think you get what you pay for with LELO, and the DOT Travel is no exception. It's a very premium, high-quality sex toy that offers a unique type of stimulation. So, I'd say that if you're looking for a travel-friendly vibrator that offers precise external stimulation, the toy is worth the price.
Performance
The DOT Travel promises spectacular orgasms wherever you go, and I think it delivers on that promise. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the precise stimulation felt on the clitoris. I even tried it on my long-distance boo — it was a no-brainer to pack this bad boy for the trip, and I had fun using the vibe to map out his erogenous zones. Overall, I was satisfied with the experience and performance of the DOT Travel.
Packaging
Okay, so I think LELO has the best packaging out of all the brands I've tried. I might be biased though, because black is my favorite color... The toy came in a sleek, modern black box. The toy was inside a velvet mould with the accessories neatly tucked underneath. It's super minimalistic packaging that's still elegant but doesn't overpower the toy and allows it to shine. It's very on-brand with their whole brand ethos.
Materials and care
The DOT Travel is made from high-quality body-safe silicone and ABS plastic and feels very pleasant on the skin. The plastic part is very high quality and sturdy, without a single mark that some of the lower quality sex toys tend to have. The silicone is smooth and soft. It's a very easy toy to clean, which I always appreciate. My favorite part is the satin pouch it comes with — by far, it's the best quality pouch I have to store my toys in, and I even wish LELO sold it separately so I could buy it to store my other sex toys.
