Lelo Sona 2 Cruise Review
My Verdict
This clitoral stimulator has added a completely new way of being stimulated to my repertoire, which has not only felt incredible but has also been an interesting learning experience. It's been really amazing to discover a whole new genre of clitoral orgasm! For me, getting to know a new sex toy and how my body responds to it makes it more exciting and really fuels my curiosity. This toy is perfect for a quick orgasm, which I think is a great part of any self-care routine, but it can also be enjoyed using the slower settings or as foreplay with a partner. I also found that it worked great for nipple stimulation. The SONA 2 cruise is easiest to use lying down or sitting in a chair, as it is easy to keep the mouth of the toy in a steady position or even use your thighs to hold it in place. I'm still undecided on the cruise control function and think it will take more time for me to decide which camp I'm in! The price tag is steep, but I think if it's within your budget, and you enjoy intense clitoral stimulation, then it's worth every penny!

About The Lelo Sona 2 Cruise
The SONA 2 cruise is a clitoral stimulator that uses Lelo's SenSonic technology. Rather than directly stimulating the area of the clitoris that sits outside the body, it uses pulsations to stimulate both internal and external parts of the clitoris. It also has cruise control, which means the toy increases the power in response to being pushed against the body, unlike many other toys that lose power when pressure is applied.
The vibrations of the Lelo Sona 2 Cruise are fairly quiet, very powerful, and somewhat rumbly
Pros
- ✅Incredibly intense clitoral orgasms

Personal Experience
First Impressions
Honestly, I was very excited to try the Lelo Sona 2 Cruise. All I can say is wow! This thing is seriously strong and definitely didn’t disappoint! Like many women, I experience orgasms mostly from clitoral stimulation, but I have never experienced clitoral orgasms quite like the ones with the SONA cruise 2. They were much more intense and felt a lot deeper. The orgasms also didn’t follow the standard pattern but seemed to build bit by bit with noticeable shifts upwards towards the end making that intense pre-orgasm feeling last for longer and the orgasm itself seemed to ripple through my body for longer than usual after.A Whole New Sensation
Also, the intensity of the whole experience really takes over and forces you to be in the moment. The orgasm itself seemed to take over my whole body and the outside world kind of disappeared for a moment! I was pretty overwhelmed the first few times I used it and a little bit disappointed that everything was over too quickly, but this changed the more I used it and understood how my body responded to the different intensities and patterns. It is difficult to describe the exact sensation, but it is a much deeper, resonating pulse that doesn’t overstimulate the clitoris in any way. It feels more like a rippling pulse that is both smooth and intense at the same time — what I mean to say is it’s pretty amazing!Multiple Orgasm Magic!
The indirect stimulation of the Lelo Sona 2 Cruise also made it much easier for me to have multiple orgasms —something I find difficult with a regular vibrator due to oversensitivity. As there is no direct clitoral contact, I found I could easily go for round two or three!Sona 2’s Settings
I thought I would love the higher intensity settings, but I actually prefer the lower settings, as the higher ones were too intense and the fun was over too quickly! The lower settings give you more time to enjoy the sensations, play with the different patterns and build the intensity. I particularly love the rolling, wave-like patterns as the stimulation rises and falls building up to a super-powerful climax, sort of like edging.Design
The gentle curves and velvety silicone look and feel fantastic. The whole product looks high-end and made me feel like I was indulging in some luxury self-care time. The wider, softer mouth (compared to previous models) is also a great addition as it sits comfortably around the clitoris and stimulates more of the area. I have the cerise design, which I personally love, but I like that it also comes in black and purple to suit different tastes.
Ease of Use
Although there are lots of settings to choose from, the controls are intuitive to use, and I like that you can quickly and easily turn the intensity up and down, which is great if you don't want to orgasm too quickly! Also, the controls are in a great location and don't get accidentally pushed when in use. The shape makes it easy to hold in place between your thighs if you want to use your hands elsewhere. I would prefer if the functions started out in the lowest intensity instead of the highest as it can be a bit of a shock to go up to the highest intensity when you only want to change the pattern
Quality
The toy feels very well-made, robust, and it has a nice weight to it so that it sits comfortably in your hand. The silicone is very soft and feels fantastic when used with lube. There are no hard or sharp parts that irritated me and the seam where the silicone meets cannot be felt. The gold plating on the back is a nice touch and adds to the feel of quality. There are no loose parts, the toy doesn't overheat, and it keeps its charge well. The quality of the Sona 2 definitely lives up to what you would expect from a toy in this price range.
Price
There's no denying that this is an expensive toy, but if you can afford it, you should definitely invest in one! This is the royal treatment your clitoris deserves — like a day at the spa for your clitoris but a spa you can go to every day!
Performance
Absolutely top marks for performance. This toy lived up to the rave reviews you've probably seen all over the internet. The clitoral orgasms with the Sona Cruise 2 are unlike any other I have experienced. My only criticism is that the toy can get pretty loud, especially when using the higher intensity settings. The cruise control feels responsive but also means you risk hitting the big O before you are ready, so that can take some getting used to.
Packaging
The sleek packaging in black and gold lives up to LELO's high-end design. Even before you unpack the Sona 2, the packaging lets you know that this is a high-end product designed purely for pleasure! I really appreciate well-designed packaging as it really sets the tone for the whole experience and adds to the excitement of getting a new product.
Materials and care
Being made of silicone and fully waterproof, the SONA 2 cruise is easy to keep clean with soap and water or toy cleaner. I use a sensitive soap and warm water to clean the toy before and after each use. It's also good to have something small to clean inside the mouth. It can be dried with a clean towel, but I also like to leave it to dry with the mouth facing down as it is tricky to dry inside this area. The SONA 2 cruise also comes with a nice, black satin storage bag to keep your toy safe and clean and stop any lint or fluff from sticking to the toy.
