Liberator LoveBlind No Peek Blindfold Review
My Verdict
I didn't know a blindfold could be this good until I tried this one! The design is so smart — it actually blocks out all vision and nearly all light for proper sensory deprivation. On top of that, it's super comfy. The padded velvet construction sits so comfortably against your face and the velcro strap means you can lie down without anything digging into the back of your head. It's definitely on the pricier end of the scale but if you are really into sensory deprivation and are tired of flimsy blindfolds that don't work, this is would be my go to!

Personal Experience
Usually a free blindfold is nothing to write home about and gets tossed in a drawer and forgotten about. However, this one was so good that when I saw Rachel was writing a round-up of the best blindfolds, I had to give it’s own review so it could be in there! I got mine with my Liberator Black Label Wedge Ramp Combo but it’s available to buy separately from Liberator. My issue with most blindfolds is that light always gets in at the bottom and when you lie down, it’s too easy to peek and see what your partner is doing. While I could just practise some self-restraint and not look it’s much more fun when you know can’t! This blind fold has one simple but genius addition — a strip of memory foam that acts like a seal between your cheeks and the blindfold so you get true sensory deprivation. It’s prevents the blindfold from pressing against your eyes. It’s the most effective and most comfortable blindfold I’ve come across and it’s the one I reach for when me or my partner want to add an element of sensory deprivation to whatever else we are doing. It’s also really great for sleeping and I often chuck it in my bag for travel. The black design also makes it discreet enough to wear in public to get a little nap in while you travel!
Design
The design is fairly minimal but the velvet material means it still feels kind of luxurious. The moulded shape sits really well on the face and the ridge at the bottom is really sets it above any other blindfold.
Ease of Use
Thanks to the stretchy straps and velcro fastening, the blindfold is really easy to put on and take off and there's a great amount of adjustability. It can slide around during more vigorous play but that's the same for all blindfolds.
Quality
The quality feels great! The velvet material is lovely and soft and I like that the actual mask itself is a little padded so it holds its shape and doesn't fold in on itself while you are wearing it. There are a few loose thread ends here and there but aside from that, it's a high quality blindfold!
Price
Let's be real, $30 is a little is expensive for a blindfold. I wouldn't pay that amount if I was just looking for blindfold for occasional use. However if you want a blindfold that you will want to use again and again and one that doubles as a great sleep mask, I'm yet to find a better one.
Performance
As I've already mentioned, this is the only blindfold I've tried that has effectively blocked light and vision — no peeking allowed! It's also comfortable to keep it on for longer periods of time and the straps don't dig in or slide around too much.
Packaging
As I got my LoveBlind Blindfold as part of my Liberator Black Label Wedge Ramp Combo Set, I didn't actually get to see the original packaging. However, from what I can see in other pictures, the packaging follows Liberator's usual style of a scantily clad woman on the box, so not very discreet!
Materials and care
The mask is made of a velvety microfiber fabric with a memory foam nose bridge. The Liberator website doesn't say if it is machine washable but I can't see why it wouldn't be! Just make sure to let the foam padding dry completely.
