Personal Experience

When I first opened my Satisfyer Booty Call Plug Set, I was impressed with the quality and variety of the set. I was really looking forward to taking my time trying out each of the plugs during solo and partnered play. For context, I am 5 feet tall, so my body is smaller in general and as a result, can take less than some other folks anally or vaginally without serious training. I also have been living with pelvic floor dysfunction for the last several years, so my pelvic floor muscles are pretty tight which impacts my ability to tolerate larger anal plugs comfortably. I have experience with anal play so I wouldn’t call myself a beginner, but because of my anatomy, a beginners’ set feels good for me.

Design

These plugs are gorgeous and versatile. You get to choose between a seamless black or a colored set of pastels, all of which are smooth to the touch as they're made of body-friendly silicone. The plugs feature a large ring to assist with insertion/retrieval which is useful, but can also be a hassle during penetrative solo or partnered play. They are easily bendable, and the set offers a large variety in design, ranging from a more bulbous and shorter 2-bead, to a more narrow and longer 3-bead, to a very unique, longer spiral (very impressive!) - all of which ascend in diameter.

Ease of Use

The large retrieval rings on these plugs make for easy insertion, however, depending on your experience with anal play and the strength of your pelvic floor muscles, it may be challenging to insert the first bead of the more bulbous 2-bead plug. I also found the spiral plug to easily fall out during orgasm/muscle contractions due to its extremely gradual diameter increase. The large rings on each also interfered with easy penetrative play while using the plugs.

Quality

These plugs feel and look high-quality with their soft-to-the-touch exteriors and bendable parts. I was impressed when opening my package. The retrieval rings are thick and the plugs are both lightweight yet sturdy at the same time. I can imagine these plugs lasting for a while!

Price

For 3 high-quality butt plugs ranging in such variety, I am impressed with the price of this set. You can find this set for as little as $17 online, and of similar sets I've seen this one is the least expensive - yet the quality is a 100/100! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this set to someone who isn't quite ready to commit to a more expensive anal toy or is exploring anal play, who also wants a quality beginners' experience. The set also comes with a 15-year guarantee on material and processing defects.

Performance

All of the plugs felt sturdy and flexible when being inserted. Depending on one's anatomy and experience with anal play, the more bulbous plug and deeper insertion of all the plugs can be somewhat painful. The spiral and 3-bead plugs are longer, so although insertion is easier since they are more narrow, deep insertion can be uncomfortable for some. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily the spiral plug was inserted but disappointed at how often it fell out during play. The other two plugs stayed in place securely, despite some uncomfortable twisting due to the large rings when paired with penetrative play.

Packaging

The packaging of the Satisfyer Booty Call Plugs is very simple and attractive. It comes in a small box set that has a cover that is swung open like a book. When you lift the cover from its magnetic hold using the accessible lifting tab, the plugs are showcased very purposefully in the box through a clear plastic barrier. It feels very clean and sophisticated yet also artistic because of Satisfyer's vibrant colors. The packaging definitely appealed to my fun side which is fitting for the product! My only criticism is that Satisfyer could have used less plastic and materials in its packaging to be more eco-friendly.

Materials and care

The Booty Call Plug Set is made of phthalate-free, body-friendly silicone so that use feels soft and safe. The plugs are lightweight and buoyant. Cleaning silicone toys like this plug set is very simple - you can just use a non-scented soap (antibacterial preferred) and warm water, or a sex toy wipe or spray. The set unfortunately does not come with a storage bag, but storing the plugs can be done easily.
