Why I Chose It

I picked out the Liberator Flip Ramp as the Test Winner in this review because it’s a piece of a sex furniture that actually doubles as regular furniture! Just a simple square (that doubles as an ottoman or small chair) when folded, and an ergonomically designed sex lounge ramp that allows you to enjoy a wide array of sex positions comfortably and for much longer.

I had the pleasure of testing the Flip Ramp out for myself and this thing has revolutionized sex for me. It has really helped me and my partner explore a lot of different sex positions (some of which we’d only ever seen in porn and weren’t aware could be achieved comfortably at home).

My favorite part of this piece of sex furniture is the versatility. The sky is the limit with this thing! Even though smaller wedges can be great for creating those enhanced angles for penetration, this piece is next level! It’s perfect for adventurous couples who want to be able to play around with new and fun positions. It easily seats two people and ergonomically creates better access to your lover’s body. Even on less daring days, I loved how the Flip Ramp made our go-to positions feel a lot more comfortable and helped create deep penetration.

I do live in a larger body and did experience that the high-density foam couldn’t hold its shape completely when I put all my weight on one little area of the Flip Ramp (on all fours when it was folded into a cube, for example). So, the more acrobatic positions weren’t as easy to achieve, but all other positions that simply required partial support worked beautifully.

I’ve selected the Liberator Wedge as the Runner-Up for this review because it has scored top points for it’s versatile and inclusive design. I love how easy it is to use for different levels of experience, and the overall quality.

For anyone who has any reason to want to elevate their comfort during partnered sex, the Liberator Wedge will be able to support your usual positions better and even make new positions possible.

Our tester, Rachel, loved using the Wedge for optimizing the angle of penetration. She found that “the difference it made during sex as a vulva-owner was immediately noticeable, and oh-so enjoyable” since the g-spot was better stimulated and the clitoris gets more direct contact. Considering that, this angle is ideal for those with smaller than average or shorter penises. With these assisted angles from the Wedge “the penetration felt deeper and much more satisfying”.

Even though it isn’t a very large piece of sex furniture, it is quite large for a sex wedge. Therefore, it can accommodate a variety of different body types. There’s even a version of it specifically designed for plus-sized users. That kind of diversity is always a plus in my book!

One minor con is that the material can be slippery and have you slowly sliding down the wedge at times. Rachel notes that it is “easy to readjust, but it does feel a little un-sexy to have to shuffle your butt back up so often”.

Why I Chose It

Now, I could not complete a round-up review of the best sex furniture out there without including this classic piece. The bouncy and versatile sex stool is an absolute asset for those who need some assistance while riding off into the horizon or while face-sitting.

The thick, reinforced elastic bands are sturdy enough to support some energetic bouncing, and the metal frame is lightweight and easy to maneuver yourself under. Our tester, Jesse, also noted that the elastic bands “are great for stretching open the thighs/butt cheeks” for easy access.

As a queening chair (for long face-sitting sessions) this is where the chair excelled! Jesse and his wife found it easy to find the right position where “she could lower herself down and smother me, or bounce her self on and off my face. She could raise herself up a bit and make it hard to reach, make me stretch and beg for it, it was hot!”. As far as versatility goes, their “favourite positions for penetration were her bent over the chair with her torso across the straps. Or flipped over on her back, lying with the straps against her lower/middle back”. Here, the bounce of the straps added a slight swing and good rhythm to the thrusting.

For storage, I like that it can be taken apart easily and stored under the bed between uses. It’s also pretty lightweight and easy to carry around!

Why I Chose It

The Liberator Jaz is the perfect option for complete sex furniture beginners who have yet to experience the joys of what assisted positioning can do to your pleasure. Even though it’s very similar to the Liberator Wedge, this is a significantly smaller and more affordable version, which I would prefer if I was complete beginner. It was the first sex pillow that Isabelle, our tester, had tried at the time. According to her review, “it was a game-changer!”

In terms of design and quality, the Liberator Jaz does really well. As with most Liberator products, the materials are high quality, easy to wash, and “the firm foam holds it shape so well, even during missionary sex, keeping you supported while still being soft enough to be comfortable”.

What I really like about the Liberator Jaz for beginners, is this rounded edge that allows you to approach the wedge from different angles and in many different positions (and even supporting different body parts) while still remaining comfortable!

“The only thing I would love to change is how it slips out of place, but I also wouldn’t want to give up the luxurious softness of the microvelvet cover, so… “. I agree that this is small price to pay for a super soft cover. With the angled design, it would be difficult to find a product that prevented any and all slippage!

Why I Chose It

Most sex furniture is quite expensive and I will admit that my favorite brand, Liberator (if you hadn’t guessed it yet) isn’t exactly budget-friendly. As a more affordable alternative, I’d like to suggest the Whipsmart Love Cushion. The heart-shaped design adds a nice aesthetic touch but doesn’t make a big difference when in use. It has a very similar function to regular sex wedges.

This adorable heart-shaped cushion offers very similar features to the other sex pillows I’ve introduced so far. The main difference lies in the quality and the lack of a moisture-resistant liner in the cover. Our tester, Kiki, noted that “the quality is definitely good, but it isn’t top tier”. The restraints (while a great addition for such an affordable product) are a bit big and “can become a little bit uncomfortable and rub into your ankles” during long sessions. Overall, it doesn’t look or feel cheap but there’s a clear difference compared to Liberator products, for example.

In terms of sensation during partnered sex, Kiki loved how “an actual cushion like this with an angle made specifically for your body contour realllyyyyyy makes a difference”. It also worked beautifully for oral. I like that the restraints are removeable and that you can add any other type of restraints to your fun to the D-rings on each side of the cushion. Versatility always wins points in my book!

Why I Chose It

Sex furniture, but make it kinky! I think this is the perfect upgrade for kinksters looking for sex furniture with more bondage options. This behemoth of a product offers so many different ways to tie up and restrain your lover. I think the Liberator Wedge Ramp Combo is the perfect thing between a smaller wedge and a large lounge ramp. Not quite a subtle sex pillow to tuck away, but not quite a permanent piece of furniture that lives on your bedroom floor.

I like the concept of an in-between piece of sex furniture. You get all the benefits of two different types of sex position enhancers AND the ability to use and combine them in different ways. Isabelle, who tested it out, liked how the “specially designed fabric also grips onto itself, so you can use the Wedge on top of the Ramp without it sliding around”.

As far bondage goes, this is a pretty quick and easy way to get kinky without too much fuss. Isabelle “loved how easy the restraints are to use” and that the process of getting strapped in was so quick. She noted that “this bondage pillow makes for some of the most comfortable bondage ever even for longer sessions!”. That said, the fastening points aren’t the most durable. It’s not suitable for super heavy duty bondage play.

The only other minor con is the sheer size of it. Unlike the Liberator Flip Ramp, this one cannot be camouflaged as a regular, inconspicuous piece of furniture. Because of the sheer size of the ramp and the wedge, it will be tricky to store discreetly.

Why I Chose It

I picked out the Liberator BonBon for this review because it is a genius contraption. The unique design allow you to use it in two ways. First of all, this hump-like shape will offer a lot of the same support and comfort to your favorite sex positions, as the other sex pillows in tis review. It’s designed to enhance the penetration angles and make your usual sex routine a lot better. Secondly (and perhaps most importantly), the hollow core works as a toy mount. Stick your favorite dildo or vibrator in there and ride and grind on it to your hearts desire!

Kasia, our tester, found that this pillow was a “revolutionary tool for masturbation, and using it with a rabbit vibrator or a rabbit-style prostate massager is a match made in heaven!”. This is one of the main reasons I’m impressed with the BonBon. Sex furniture generally caters to couples. To me, it definitely stands out as the perfect piece of sex furniture for solo use as well as well as couples’ play!

Not all types and size will work though. The toy has to be able to reach the bottom of the hole to stay securely in place. Therefore, “tiny dildos or large wands might not work, but regular-sized rabbits and dildos will be a perfect match”. I also recommend using remote controlled or app controlled vibrators in there since you can really adjust the settings on the toy when it’s secured.

Even though it’s great for assisting partnered sex and ideal for exploring double penetration fantasies, “it’s a little small to sit on together”, especially for people with larger bodies.
