I have to admit, unfortunately that isnt a sentence I say on the regular, until I met this toy. The Lily 3 is one of the smallest toys in my collection now and I have to admit, I judged a toy by its’ size. I’m sorry! But i cant be the only one… I was humbled the second I turned the Lily 3 on. Starting in at a medium vibration speed, the Lily starts at a medium to fast rumbling buzz, almost like when you see speakers move. It is so rhythmic, almost elongated vibrations, that are way more rumbly than buzzy. Now I am a girl who likes to take things slow, so I started by going down, down to the lowest speed. WOW. The Lily slowly pulses and at a murmur, really vibrates and pulses your clit. It almost replicated the feeling of when a partner slowly penetrates and they are hitting my clit. It was heavenly.

A change of pace

Design

The design of the Lily 3 is very simple, but affective for a vibrator. It has an ergonomic shape meaning that when on the vulva, it bends around and hugs a similar shape. As the vibrator is smooth and has curves, it can be used in any direction or angle, which nice for different sensation feelings. Lelo is known for making high quality toys, of which the Lily 3 is no exception - the material and quality feels luxurious and soft. The only thing that is a downside to the design, is that when lube is used, the Lily can be very slippery. The silicone is very smooth so when wet, it can be difficult to hold, especially when on the highest vibration speeds. It would have been better if it was slightly bigger or had grooves on the sides to make it easier to grip onto.

Ease of Use

Vibrators are known for being very simple and easy to use - The Lily 3 falls in that category. The two button controls are easy to navigate and simply work as 'increase, decrease' buttons. To turn off the toy, hold the decrease button down until it finally stops vibrating. Knowing that the toy only has 10 vibration speeds, you know you only have to press the buttons 10 times. It is slightly confusing to know which vibration speed you are on, at the start, as when you first turn on the toy, it starts form the middle vibration speed, not the lowest. The buttons are also slightly difficult to press at first, but once you know how hard to press, it's pretty easy.

Quality

The quality is simply amazing, the first thing I noticed was how smooth the material was and how good it felt in my hand. I am a fan of silicone toys and always try and opt for silicone if I can, simply because it is good quality and feels great on my body when using. Because the material is so soft, if you don't have difficulty getting wet, then i would recommend not even using it with a water-based lube! But I am a lube lover, so it did also feel great with lube. With regards to sound, it was overall a quiet toy, especially when under the bed sheets. I am someone who lives with housemates and I ideally don't want them hearing what I get up to after hours, so this toy was a great companion in my secret adventures.

Price

I have been debating on whether or not I think the price is too much or reasonable. For a high quality toy that is made from a respectable brand, that really made me have an exciting session, I think it is worth the price. It is very powerful and feels very sensual even on the lowest vibration speeds. Yet comparing it to other toys, it is a simple vibrator with 10 vibration patterns, therefore I actually think it is a pretty expensive toy. At the moment however, it is on sale, so maybe it is one of those toys you only buy if you can get a discount.

Performance

As I expressed, I wasn't expecting such a performance from such a small toy, and boy did it impress me. I loved every vibration speed and pattern combination, from the lowest being pulsating and rumbly, to the fastest being mind-blowing overwhelming. I have had my fair share of weak, loud vibrators that really don't do much, but this toy was something special. It felt sensual, exciting and smooth, as well as easy to use and direct onto my desired area. The play time was 60 minutes per charge, which was more than enough for me, I barley lasted 10! I also loved how quiet it was, as my walls are pretty thin in my apartment... The only thing that is slightly annoying, is that it takes double the amount of time to charge it, as the charge lasts But I guess all good things come to those who wait... It's just hard having patience when this toy is at your fingertips!

Packaging

If you know me, I am a huge lover of the whole packaging experience, the unboxing aspect and the overall look of the toy. The packaging certainly didn't disappoint - The box came in a dust bag, with the box having a see through window-case front, so that you can see the toy when you first open it. The black box looks sensual and high quality, with the gold lettering making it look premium and expensive. When you take the toy out of the box and remove the extra layer, the charger, the manual book, a packet of lube, a storage bag and an authentication card is hidden underneath. The whole unboxing experience felt premium and high quality, and it felt like I was getting my money's worth too. I loved it!

Materials and care

This toy is fully water-proof, meaning that it can be used in the shower or the bath. To clean this toy, either use hot water with a neutral body soap, or clean with a sex toy cleaner spray. Make sure it is not submerged in water for hours, as this could affect the charging port negatively. If you are planning on using a personal lubricant with this toy, make sure it is a water-based lube, that doesn't contain silicone, as this could damage the toy as it is also made of silicone. Keep this toy clean and dust free by using body safe wipes or water.
