My Verdict
This is by far the biggest vibrator I own, and I still find that the size and power excite me, but the size is also one of the reasons I don't use it so often — it's not so easy to just slip under the sheets and it definitely takes up too much space to be left out on my nightstand in easy reach, unlike my smaller toys that take pride of place! I also find the strength of vibration both in the toy and in the handle to be a bit overwhelming at times. Do I like the Smart Wand? Yes! Would I pay the hefty price tag out of my own pocket? Probably not! While the design alone makes me want to use it, I think there are cheaper options that are just as good. That being said, if you love the power of a wand vibrator and are looking to add to your collection, it has plenty of pleasure potential to offer.

Personal Experience
The Size of This Thing!
Ok, so when given the choice between medium and large, I had to go for the large, and boy is this thing large. My eyes lit up when I opened the packaging, and I felt a tingle of excitement as I imagined what kind of power was stored in this almighty wand! As I turned it on it seemed to roar and jump around — it took me a second to tame the beast, and I didn’t know whether I should be scared or excited! I felt like this toy would be taking me for a ride and not the other way around, and I kind of liked it!Rumble in the Jungle
When you turn the wand on, it starts on the highest setting, which I have, as yet, been too scared to use anywhere near my clitoris — it does however make for an alright massage after a long day or as part of foreplay. There are 10 levels to choose from, with the lowest being extremely rumbly and the higher ones being very powerful but less rumbly. I love the lower settings for a bit of warm-up, especially for broad stimulation of the labia, and I find the mid-level vibrations usually hold the key to a pretty good orgasm. If you love power, then you might enjoy the higher settings, but I find them overwhelming, and they make it uncomfortable to hold the wand for too long. There are also 10 patterns to choose from which you can cycle through using the middle button. I also find the power of this thing means I orgasm pretty quickly, so it’s not one I reach for when I want a long, slow session but it’s really great for a quickie — alone or with a partner!Design
The size of the Smart Wand is truly commanding and love that about it! I also love the sleek silicone-covered design — I find the old-school Magic Wand design a bit off-putting and not very sexy! The velvety matt silicone paired with the shiny gold handle gives the device a very luxurious feel. I also really like that the silicone covers both the head and body, so there aren't places for bacteria/mold to get trapped. The head of the wand is very firm with no give in it, and cleverly, it's the same size as the Magic Wand Vibrator, so you can use the attachments with the Lelo Smart Wand 2 Large.
Ease of Use
The curved handle is a simple but super smart addition that makes it much easier to hold in position and something I think all wands should have! The Lelo Smart Wand 2 has the standard three-button controls that you get on most Lelo products —the plus/minus buttons to turn the intensity up and down and a third button in the middle to scroll through the patterns. You can turn the vibrations off by turning the intensity all the way down, making it easy to turn off by accident when you are looking for the lowest setting, but I don't find this to be too big of a problem. The buttons sit flush to the handle so it can be a little difficult to figure out which button is which when you can't see them. If you struggle to hold larger/heavier objects or you are very sensitive to vibrations traveling through your hands/arms, this wand probably won't be suitable.
Quality
When you pick up the wand, it feels like a quality device — the silicone is soft it feels like it might melt and the construction feels solid and sturdy. There are no bits that rattle when you shake it but I have noticed that the noise during use changes depending on how you hold it.
Price
This large wand comes with a fittingly large price tag! One of the most of expensive wand vibrators on the market, the Lelo Smart Wand 2 is definitely not something to buy on a whim. After using it for a couple of months, I have to say that even though I have enjoyed it, I wouldn't be willing to fork out this much for it. Unless you are a ride or die Lelo fan, really love the aesthetics of the design, or you simply must have it for your extensive wand vibrator collection, I would look for a cheaper option for a powerful wand that won't break the bank.
Performance
The lower vibrations on the wand are deliciously deep and rumbly but that decreases as you increase the power. At times, the vibrations can cause the wand to feel a bit jumpy, but they settle down when the head comes into contact with your body. If you are looking for a quiet sex toy for discreet play or you are put off by noise, you might want to think twice about the Smart Wand as it can get a little noisy, reaching up to 65 decibels on the higher settings. The battery life is pretty impressive and I haven't noticed that it gets hot during use, though I have to admit, it's not usually on for that long, given the power and all!

The Lelo Smart Wand 2 comes beautifully presented in an elegant white box decorated only with some gold lettering that gives it a luxurious, spa-like quality.
Materials and care
The buttery, smooth silicone covers the whole head and most of the handle, which makes cleaning super easy as there are no difficult to clean spots. As the whole wand is fully waterproof, it can be washed using fragrance-free soap and water or a sex toy cleaner. The wand comes with a free sample of Lelo's water-based lube but you can use it with any water-based lube of your choice.
Special feature
The absolute best thing about the Lelo Smart Wand 2 is that it is fully waterproof and covered in divine, buttery silicone so it feels extra luxurious and is easy to clean. I’ve never owned one of the Original Magic Wands, and after reading Edwina’s review and finding out it isn’t meant to get wet (ahem…I thought that was the whole point), I don’t plan on buying one. This one on the other hand is both simple, sexy, and safe — no matter how wet you get!
