The Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder is a toy for the science fiction-loving kinkster looking to shoot their load for the stars to get trapped on the moon! As a fiction fan and a person who loves a little fantasy in the bedroom, the Lunar Grinder is a great addition to my toy arsenal. Easy to use and soft to the touch, I'm obsessed with the squishy silicone and beautiful design of this alien tentacle and moon base creation! I love a toy that isn't just a luxurious pleasure experience, but also an art piece. While the price point is on the higher end, I recommend this to anyone who thinks they could enjoy it. It's just that sexy and out of this world!

Personal Experience
Love At First Sight
Opening my simple cardboard package from Uncover Creations, I was excited to see recyclable packing filler. The toys really speak for themselves when it comes to this small business! I received both the Lunar Grinder and the Alien Ovipositor at the same time, so both weighed this box down considerably with how thick and sturdy their silicone is. Past the filler were two lovely tissue-wrapped toys as well as two little mini models of two other Uncover Creations toys! I love minis and have been dying to have some, I just think they’re cute additions to my bookshelves alongside my other knickknacks. The Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder, once emerged from its wrapping, had my jaw to the floor. I didn’t get to pick the colors of the toy (though you will!), so I’m beyond excited that they sent me the one they did! I love the meaty, wet look to the pinkish monster arm and the rich and glittery purple moon surface. I love to boil my new silicone toys when I first get them, so I stripped the grinder of its straps and plopped it into a pot on the stove. It’s a big toy, so I had to dip it in at multiple angles to get it all sterilized to my liking. After that, I gave it a quick rinse with some unscented soap and warm water. I like to be thorough! Then, I slid back in the harness, strapped my new grinder to a pillow, and went on an intergalactic journey!How It Feels
As someone who prefers vibrating toys, I was surprised with how much feeling I got from the textures involved with the Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder. I love the grooves and ridges of the tentacle, how it dips internally just a couple of inches like it’s teasing me. The craters of the moon are great little additions, to both the fantasy and I enjoy the feel of them if my clit ends up hitting one of them. For the most part, though, most of the attention to my genitals comes from that tentacle. Water-based lube is also a really great addition to playing with this grinder to lessen the rough friction of skin to silicone, though it may not be necessary depending on how much natural lubricant you develop! Personally, I didn’t use much lube at all during my times testing out the Lunar Grinder because of my own wetness and how soft the silicone already is. Eventually, I did try addition a vibrator to the experience. My go-to vibes right now are my Dame Com and Iroha+ Kushi. I tried both, as the Dame Com was a little too big to fit against my clit while riding the grinder and the vibrations weren’t quite able to reach through all the silicone from trying to place it underneath. The Iroha+ Kushi was a little better, though that vibrator already has a lot of shell-like texture of its own and it became a bit overwhelming for my body. Maybe this is because I have a fatter body and need to find different angles for more pleasure and comfort! Either way, it was still an enjoyable experience whether I had the vibrator or not.The Moon Monster!
Can you believe how cool this grinder is? Sorry, not sorry—I can’t get over how gorgeous these details are! Uncover Creations really outdoes themselves in terms of design for their toys, so if you haven’t seen their site, I highly recommend you check it out. I love the grooves of the tentacle, but I also adore the color. From the bottom of the grinder’s base, you can really see the swirls in the pink for the tentacle. When you get close to the purple of the moon, you can see that it’s all glittery and shimmery like moon dust! The little craters and bumps of the base truly add to the experience. And then you get down to the super cute detail of the Uncover Creations logo as a teeny-weeny spacecraft/moonlander with itty bitty astronaut footprints walking away from it. Suddenly, it’s like this sex toy is telling a story! It’s a silicone sculpture, it’s a piece of fun, sexy, playful art! As you can see, I really love the Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder. While the design wasn't perfect for my personal pleasure, I can't help but give it a nearly perfect rating. Look at those details! Look at how fun this toy is! Not only does it look amazing, but it also feels very luxurious. There are textures on the surface of the moon, including craters, with this gorgeous alien tentacle reaching high out towards the universe and your abyss. Not only that, but the tentacle is looming over a moonbase made of the Uncover Creations logo! AND there are little astronaut footprints! Seriously, have you ever seen such a detailed sex toy? I love Love LOVE the design of the Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder!
Ease of Use
As a toy with no motor and comes with straps to ensure it stays in place, the Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder is a very easy to use toy. Personally, I keep having issues with the neoprene straps as taking them apart to clean the toy a few times has made one of the clips to be a little too loose. Even so, it hasn't stopped me! Honestly, because these straps are so simple, I'm debating getting new ones at one point so it could be more sturdy. That totally wouldn't be necessary, I can still attach it to a pillow and stack that pillow on another one. But, I want to be able to strap this to my partner's thigh or onto a sturdier piece of furniture; I enjoy this toy enough to want to have an even more hands-off no-stress experience down the line!
Quality
The silicone looks and feels very high quality, for the most part. This is similar to the neoprene straps and plastic clips. It's a bit of a bummer that my straps haven't stayed sturdy after only a few uses. Additionally, the holes in the silicone where the straps go in and out of have some flaking thin silicone. I wish that more toy companies trimmed away more of these thin silicone bits so their customers get the most out of their new toy from the get-go, but I understand that it must be a tedious process to do so. Otherwise, I still get a very luxurious experience and plenty of pleasure from the toy!
Price
The Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder has a high-ish price point. Honestly, between the details and the amazing silicone recipe they have, this feels worth more than it is. Even so, an almost $80 toy with no motor could make a toy-buyer hesitate. On top of that, the packaging is a tad lackluster. I do love the mini grinder that arrived with the grinder, but I wish there had also been a toy bag or stickers or something similar as well! If I hadn't had the opportunity to test this toy, I likely would have had it sitting in a wishlist for quite a while until I convinced myself to really splurge, but maybe that's just me!
Performance
I love the texture of the Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder. I can really feel the grooves and bumps and craters against my body. I appreciate how firm the base of the tentacle is, and how squishy the rest of the grinder is so it's bendable to whatever surface it's sitting on. It's a great hands-off toy to blast off with! I also appreciate how I could use it with a small handheld vibrator if I want to. The one thing that surprised me, performance-wise, was that the tentacle did not penetrate as much as I thought it would. It dipped internally, for me but not much farther. Maybe that's because of my anatomy, maybe that's the toy! Even so, I still enjoy the feel of the grinder a lot.
Packaging
I think about the packaging and marketing of toys a whole lot. When it comes to the packaging of the Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder, I feel pretty neutral. I appreciate the recyclable materials a LOT, from the box it arrived in, to the packaging filler materials. I had a big smile on my face as I opened the package to see my new toys wrapped up in tissue paper like little gifts! Very cute idea, and I appreciate it a lot. I also love that it came with a mini grinder as well! It's a super cute addition to the experience. My only complaint is that I wish it had arrived with a toy bag, a little pamphlet on getting the most out of the toy, some stickers, things like that! But, ultimately, I don't mind the simplicity as the toy speaks for itself.
Materials and care
There are three materials at play with the Uncover Creations Lunar Grinder. The grinder itself is purely medical-grade silicone, which is super easy to clean. All you need to do is soap it up and wash it off! With all of those grooves and craters, I would also recommend giving it a good sterilization boil from time to time. The neoprene straps and plastic clasps are easy to remove and put back together! If they need a clean, then all they need is a little spot cleaning with soap and water as well. Lastly, this grinder is a lint-collector! I'd recommend finding some kind of bag or container for it to keep it clean and lint-and-hair-free!
