Why I Chose It
One of the main features of the Com Wand Vibrator that caught my eye when looking for the best waterproof vibrator is the handle design. Over the years, I’ve tried a fair few of my sex toys in the shower and found ones with long handles the easiest as they can be used standing in the shower or lying in the bath without having to stretch or contort yourself!
Our tester, Vern, absolutely loved the Dame Com and even gave it a perfect score of 5/5. They even went as far as to say “it’s by-far the best wand they’ve ever used!”
They loved that “it’s shaped for accessibility,” in particular, “it’s angled to rest closer to your body, it’s like my hands and arms are getting a break!”
Vern was a fan of the vibrations that they described as “powerful” and “deep and rumbly without going overboard.”
Their only wish was that the Com had a longer battery life, but with an hour per charge, it will get you through plenty of quickies in the shower!

Why I Chose It
In my years as a sex toy reviewer, I’ve learned that shopping on a budget doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice pleasure! It’s also really important to me that when I include cheap options, they are also made of high-quality, body safe materials.
This was another vibrator I had to include because of just how easy it is to use in the shower! The fact that you can just slip it between your fingers and then use it wherever takes your fancy really appeals to me! Our tester Edie also loved “the way it stays in place with zero effort.”
She was also impressed by just how powerful it was for such a small vibrator, writing that even indirect stimulation led up to an “incredible release that had my legs quivering like wet noodles and my entire body ready for a nap. “
Another big plus is Edie found it was “relatively quiet” so it’s great for a bit of discreet me-time in the shower!
My one complaint about the Yumi is that the vibrations are a little on the buzzy side and Edie found they left her hand feeling tingly after holding it for a whole session.

Why I Chose It
Having recently got my hands on the We-Vibe Tango X, I can highly recommend it! It’s by far one of the rumbliest clitoral vibrators I’ve tried to date! I chose it as the best for beginners option as it’s a great versatile little vibe that’s super easy to use!
It’s also our tester and fellow sex toy expert, Rachel’s, favorite sex toy of all time! She was so impressed by how “it rumbled and wriggled around in [her] hand.” I personally think that the lowest setting is so rumbly that it almost feels more like tapping!
She preferred the the smoothness of the ABS plastic body compared to the usual silicone as it “feels so smooth, never drags on the skin (even when you’re not using lube), and allows you to get really firm with your stimulation.” I do appreciate that they’ve included the silicone handle to make it easier to keep hold of though!
Another big plus is that “this vibrator so compact and light,” making it easier to use even in a smaller shower space!

Why I Chose It
Being a sex toy reviewer definitely has it’s perks and one of them was Lelo sending me a Lelo Dot to review when it was first released! I had my doubts at first, though. As a sex expert it’s my job to be skeptical of sex toys company making grand claims about their latest, gratuitously named technology and how it will change your life. However, I have to say, I am very impressed and do think it has added something unique to the market and to my bedside drawer!
In all honesty, I have grown to absolutely love the Dot and would say it’s in the top 3 vibrators I use most often! The loop handle is also such a plus for having a good grip on the toy in the bath or shower.
It’s one the one I reach for when I crave something less intense than the tractor like power of my Doxy Die Cast. The oscillating tip feels unlike any other vibrate I have. It’s hard to describe but the oscillations combined with the flexible tip feels more like tiny little strokes than vibrations.
I chose the Lelo Dot as the most discreet waterproof vibrator as it’s the the quietest vibrator in my whole, rather large, collection. I can use this thing anywhere without fear of it being heard through a wall and I like that it doesn’t distract you at all. There’s absolutely no way you would hear this over the sound of water running.

Why I Chose It
If I’m in the mood for some hands-free fun in the shower while I wash my hair, I will grab my Lovense Lush! Once it’s in place, it stays put so well, so I don’t have to worry about it falling out or needing to readjust it! I have the Lush 2 and still think it’s a great toy, but the Lush 3 has some even better upgrades!
Our tester, Kasia and fellow Bedbible sex toy expert, really enjoyed the internal stimulation of the Lush 3, and found that “the angle is shaped perfectly to hit your sweet spot.” She was also impressed that “the egg’s vibrations are very powerful but quiet simultaneously.” I also would be super confident that no-one could hear the Lush through the bathroom wall!
Unfortunately, the tail didn’t quite hit the spot for Kasia, as the vibrations were “very delicate and weak even in the highest settings.” However, as that isn’t the main attraction, it’s not a huge issue!
The other reason I included the Lush 3 is it’s app capabilities and long-distance. You can pop the vibrator into place, connect it to a partner’s phone and let them control your vibrations while you shower or preprogram your favorite vibration settings! Having tested a fair few Lovense sex toys at this point, I can also vouch for the app reliability. It’s always the first brand I recommend to anyone looking for a long-distance sex toy.

Why I Chose It
This is another waterproof sex toy I had the absolute pleasure of testing! I’m a big fan of clitoral suction stimulators in general, and I thought it couldn’t get much better than the insanely intense stimulation of the Lelo Sona, but that completely changed when I got my hands of the Sila!
I’ve found the soft, wide rim of the mouth of the Sila to be the best design of all the clitoral suction toys, as it actually makes a seal with my body. I also really enjoy the more gentle stimulation of the Sila, as the gradual build in pleasure and arousal makes my orgasms feel deeper and longer lasting — more like a continuous wave than a sudden explosion.
This combo definitely makes the Lelo Sila one of my go to’s for solo pleasure on dry land or under water! My only complaint would be it’s a little noisy, and from personal experience, I know it can be heard through a wall, so I wouldn’t recommend this if you are going for covert pleasure!

Why I Chose It
I love a bit of shower sex as much as the next person, but I also know, it’s risky business! If you are getting frisky in the such a slippery environment, you need both hands free for support! This is exactly why I’ve chose the We-Vibe Sync as the best waterproof vibrator for couples!
Kasia reviewed it and thought it was “one of the most versatile sex toys [she’s] ever tried. She was impressed by the versatility, commenting that “it’s a great toy not only for penetrative sex but also for solo action, public play, hands-free shower fun and so much more.”
She also had a great experience using the app, which she “100/100,” and the physical remote to control the toy. I will hasten to add that although the toy itself is completely submersible, the remote control is only splash-proof so keep that one nearby but not in direct water!
I’ve personally tested the We-Vibe Chorus, which is looks almost identical but has a little more advanced technology and costs quite a bit more, and was really impressed with it! However, I chose the Sync 2 over the Chorus for it’s more accessible price.

Submersible vs. Splashproof Sex Toys
Let’s go through what the terms ‘waterproof’ and splashproof’ actually mean. This way you can figure out which types of toys are actually safe to bring with you in the shower or under water.
The IP Scale
The IP scale is a way to show how well electrical devices are protected against dust and water. The first number after “IP” tells you about dust protection, and the second number is about water protection. Higher numbers mean better protection.
The IP scale is basically about figuring out if your sex toy can handle getting wet or just a few drops. Now, you often won’t be able to find this information on specific products. However, the terms “waterproof” and “splashproof” will mostly be used about products that have a specific IP rating.
Waterproof
If your sex toy is classified as waterproof, it means you can submerge it in water, and it’ll be fine. Most ‘waterproof’ and ‘submersible’ toys will have a rating of IP7 or higher. These types of sex toys are ideal for shower sex!
Splashproof
If your sex toy is only labelled as splashproof, it’s more likely to have a rating of IP6 or under. This means that it’s alright to handle a slight sprinkle or splash, but shouldn’t be submerged fully during use or during cleaning.
