My Verdict
Overall, I'm actually pretty happy with this dildo! It's easy to use, great quality for the value, and as long as you're careful where you stick it, it's great for hands free play. Unwrapping the Colours Pleasures 5 Inch Dildo: My Experience
Pretty in Pink
Opening the box I was immediately excited, hot pink happens to be one of my favorite colors, and this dildo is PINK. Color aside, I was quite impressed by the detailing of this realistic dildo. The all the veins and little wrinkles are placed appropriately, and it felt, in hand, like a firm erection. I was quite excited to give this dildo a shot!Slippery When Wet
I figured since it has a suction cup base, the only fair way to test the Colours Pleasures dildo out was to try it on land and at sea. I’m kidding, I mean in the shower. I grabbed my towel, my toy, and hopped into the shower for what I was hoping would be a sexy fun time with myself. I learned two things in that shower, the suction cup slides on tiled walls, and my balance isn’t that great. After narrowly avoiding a VERY awkward trip to the ER (it’s a small town, 10/10 would have lied about the circumstances), I decided to give it another shot, only this time attaching it to the floor of the bathtub. Now THAT worked, even with the inch or so of water build up in the tub, the suction base held strong, and the water meant lubrication wasn’t much of an issue.Speed Bump?
After finishing at sea, I mean in the shower, I decided to take the party back to my room. I wouldn’t say I have the biggest butt, but it is big enough that finding something to utilize the toy from behind is a bit difficult if I want to go hands-free. After finding a surface that worked, I tried again, only this time it was marginally different. I don’t usually need extra lubrication, but I found with this toy, the veins are firm enough it was quite uncomfortable without it outside of the shower. I don't think there's really any dildo on the market that's complicated to use, and the Colours Pleasures dildo is no exception. Moisten the suction cup (not too much I found out later), stick it and you're off to the races! I personally have grip issues, and found that if I wasn't using the toy attached to a flat surface, the suction cup base made holding it during use much easier than other dildos I've used without the suction base.

Overall, I was really happy with the quality of this dildo. It's made out of body-safe, medical-grade silicone that is velvety soft to the touch, and the suction cup is strong enough to get the job done. I did find the veins a little bit much once I got to use the toy, but I am very sensitive, and no real penis would have veins that firm. With enough lube it's not a deal breaker for if I'll use this toy again or not though.

Does it Deliver on Performance?
Overall, I wasn't disappointed, but I also wasn't blown away by the performance of the Colours Pleasures silicone suction cup dildo. I will say it's a great toy if you're just venturing into the world of dildos and don't want to break the bank. The suction cup is strong and seals well on smooth flat surfaces. However if you're into shower play, I don't think this is the toy for you (or maybe it's because I have tile).
