My Verdict
I'm so glad that I discovered the Sportsheets Hux! Despite its modest appearance, this dildo has a secret weapon: an absolutely phenomenal suction cup. After having experimented with sticking it to almost every surface in my house, I can say that there isn't much that it won't stick fast to. Once placed, I love the smooth surface that makes it easy and comfy to ride on, whilst the girth makes it so satisfying to play with.

About The Sportsheets Hux
The Sportsheets Hux is a silicone dildo with a flexible shaft and a strong suction cup base. The tip is slightly bulbous, but in general, the whole dildo is very smooth and easy to insert. At 8 inches long and almost 1.6 inches in diameter, it's designed for those with some penetration experience, and although it's harness-compatible, it may be too large for pegging newbies.

Personal Experience
The Quest for a Suction Cup Dildo that Works
The idea of hands-free dildo riding is very appealing to me (and really, who doesn’t it appeal to?). However, I’ve struggled with past suction cup dildos, as they’ve either had weak suction or been too short to comfortably ride. Then, I read about the Sportsheets Hux, which is an impressive 8 inches long and had a very promising-looking suction cup. Once it arrived and I unboxed it, I did have a momentary worry that I’d overestimated by abilities in the length department, but my fears were unfounded.Suction For Days
The Hux’s suction cup is really out of this world — I’ve tried sticking it to doors, cabinets, tiles, wooden floors, painted walls… it stuck everywhere. Since the shaft is flexible, you can really push on it and bend it around without the suction cup budging. Of course, there are limitations, but as long as the surface is fairly smooth, the Hux isn’t picky. This was big plus for me, as previous suction cup dildos I’ve tried would only stick to the tile walls in my bathroom, which isn’t the sexiest place to play.My Perfect Everyday Dildo
There’s not much I don’t love about this dildo. It’s so easy to use, and girthy enough that the sensation of fullness is just right for me, without any challenging stretching. For me, the smoothness is a positive thing, since more textured dildos can quickly become irritating for me. The eagle-eyed among you may notice that the Hux looks a whole lot like the Sportsheets Galaxie dildo that Isabelle reviewed… because it’s exactly the same product — the only difference is the color. She wasn’t such a fan of the smoothness, but it’s all down to what you think you’d enjoy most!Design
The Hux has a simple, understated design that appeals to me. It's smooth and gently tapered, with a slightly bulbous tip that's satisfying to pop inside without being much effort. I'm also a fan of less realistic-looking dildos, so the non-phallic design is a plus in my books. The best part, of course, is the wide, flexible suction cup base that sticks to almost anything.
Ease of Use
This dildo is very easy to use if you're okay with slightly girthier dildos. It's not extremely thick or long, but total beginners may find it takes some warm up to insert the Hux comfortably. If that's not issue for you, though, then it's a breeze. You can mount it in whichever position you prefer, or use it handheld, and the smooth shaft only requires a little lubrication to slip right in.
Quality
I wasn't overly surprised with how high-quality the Hux is, but that's only because I know the quality of Sportsheets products as a whole. It's a great-quality dildo with soft silicone, sturdy construction and a fabulously-designed suction cup. I'm taking off a couple of points solely because there is a slight seam line in the silicone running from the tip to the base. It's not noticeable when you use it, but the devil is in the details, right?
Price
The Sportsheets Hux is priced very similarly to other larger and high-quality dildos, such as the Fun Factory The Boss and the Tantus Curve. At around $50-60, depending on where you look, it's not the cheapest dildo in the world, but I think it's well worth it for a very versatile, everyday-use dildo! I do wish that you also got a storage bag for your money, but that's not included with this product.
Performance
The Hux doesn't have a ton of reviews online, so I didn't have a lot to compare it to. However, I think it performed admirably and will be a go-to for me in the future. The suction cup alone makes it a star!
Packaging
The packaging of this toy is nice and light, but it's nothing too special. Two sides of the box are clear plastic, allowing you to see the Hux lying in its plastic nest. It's a little impractical to use to store the toy, but since it doesn't come with a storage pouch, you may want to keep it around.
Materials and care
The Hux is made from 100% body-safe, non-porous silicone. Stick with using a water-based lube with it, as silicone- and oil-based lubes can damage its surface. It's easy to clean with some mild soap and warm water, or you could use a purpose-made toy cleaner. If you'd like to share it with other people, you can easily sterilize it in some boiling water for a minute or two, or even stick it in an empty dishwasher cycle! Just make sure that, when you store it, it's not touching other silicone or TPE toys, as this can also damage the surface of the material.
