Tantus Cush Review
My Verdict
I loved this dildo. The Tantus Cush is one of my favorite dildos to use nowadays. However, there are some things to take into consideration before buying this dildo. I will always advocate for having a suction cup base on a dildo. I think it just elevates the overall dildo experience, having the option to stick it onto something for some hands-free pleasure. That is probably the biggest complaint I have about the Tantus Cush. Keep in mind that the raised ridge on the shaft may not be a good fit someone who really prefers a mostly smooth shaft for completely frictionless penetration. It doesn't hurt or anything, but it's just good to keep in mind, I think! It's also a bit pricey and definitely something you should consider as an investment in your pleasure. I do think it's worth it if you're willing to spend the cash. It's a great quality product, the dual density design takes penetration to the next level in terms of realism, and it just looks stunning!

As for texture, the Tantus Cush can offer some extra stimulation with a deep ridge about halfway down the shaft and a pronounced "glans". Together, these feature are meant to stimulate the g-spot and the a-spot during penetration! Personal Experience
Crushing on the Cush
I’ve been eyeing this dildo from afar for a while… Hopefully, that doesn’t sound too creepy. I just really like the way it looks! Who doesn’t want a gradient dildo? I was also beyond ready to try out my first dual density dildo. Honestly, the promise of a squishy, yet firm, lifelike feel with a cute non-representational aesthetic had me sold pretty quickly! When I first received the Tantus Cush, I was very pleasantly surprised by the squishyness of the extorior, and the sheer weight of the thing! It’s feels more dense than it looks. That definitely excited me. I tried using the Cush by myself, combining it with other toys, like the Dame Fin or sending vibrations through the shaft with the Fun Factory VIM. It performed beautifully. I also had a blast using it with my partner, who was quite impressed with the subtle realism as well. Some Cushion for the Pushin’
No, I don’t mean that the Tantus Cush has got a serious dump truck. I’m talking about the actual cushy, squishy, comfy feel to it. This dual density dildo just feels really comfortable! It’s probably also the most realistic feeling dildo I’ve ever used, when you don’t count that deep ridge in the middle of course… Anyway, the dual density felt great during penetration. I found that the Tantus Cush even felt quite comfortable during more rigorous use! That said, as comfortable as the material was, that deep ridge did create a little more friction that I was expecting. Not necessarily a bad thing, just something to get used to – and a good reason to have some extra lube at hand! All in all, I have to praise Tantus for this dual density wonder. The lifelike feel makes this a great substitute for the real thing. But it also just made the Tantus Cush a great addition to partnered play for some semi-realistic company in the bedroom.Design
I absolutely love the design of the Tantus Cush! Of course, I'm a fan of how the dual density design has created this stunning gradient design on the exterior. The raised ridge in the middle of the shaft is very prominent. Initally, I thought this could only increase the level of internal stimulation. However, I have to admit that it can create more friction than expected during more vigorous use which then also requires a bit more lube. Not a deal breaker at all, just something to be aware of! Also, the design features a non-slip flared base. This makes the dildo anal safe and strap-on harness compatible but I am definitely missing a suction cup base.
Ease of Use
I would say the Tantus Cush is one of the easier sex toy to use. I mean, most dildos are! It has a good size that's suitable for a lot of different levels of experience. It may be a bit girthy for complete penetration beginners. Although, the soft and squishy exterior makes the dildo feel really comfortable during insertion. Dual density dildos, like the Tantus Cush, are both comfortable and easy to use!
Quality
There's not much to say about the overall quality of this toy. Tantus is known for making premium quality sex toys and the Cush is no exception. This dildo is hand-poured from a unique Ultra-Premium Silicone formula. It's 100% body safe and very easy to clean and sterilize. It's definitely a good quality product.
Price
So, the Tantus Cush is actually one of the more expensive dildos by Tantus. Dual density dildos generally tend to be more expensive. Although, it is quite a price tag for a mere dildo. After trying it out for myself, I do think that the realistic feel and beautiful design make up for it. However, it's not the best option for anyone on a bit of a budget. Lastly, at that price, I really would have appreciated a suction cup base and a storage bag!
Performance
The Tantus Cush sure did live up to my expectations in terms of performance! The soft and squishy feel just made it super comfortable to use in all sorts of ways. Stable and solid enough to provide some delightful internal massage yet comfortable to use for a longer period of time. It also works really well with other sex toys! The Cush doesn't slide out and pretty much stays in place if your hands are busy tending to your other bits.
Packaging
The packaging is simple but to the point. Plastic casing molded to fit the Cush. A basic product description and information on the packaging itself and that's basically it. I have no problem with simple but efficient packaging. What I do miss deperately is a storage bag for the dildo! Storing your sex toys properly is a pretty important step for maintenance. So, it would be nice if companies as actually included one in the packaging!
Materials and care
As mentioned earlier, the Tantus Cush is made of premium quality silicone. Both the solid inner core and exterior coating are made from silicone. Silicone is non-porous and 100% body safe. You can easily clean your Cush by rinsing off any residue, lathering up with some mild, unscented soap, or sex toy cleaner and rinsing in warm water. You can also sterilize the dildo in boiling water for about 3 minutes. Let dry completely and storage safely away from any dust or lint away from other silicone products.
