My Verdict
The Dame Pom is one of the few toys that I can honestly say I would back as a truly 'beginner' level toy. The Dame Pom test: How it faired
I’ll be honest, when I found out I was getting to test out a Dame product I was pretty damn excited. I absolutely love their approach to masturbation as a wellness concept and their company is genuinely, and thoughtfully targeted towards women in a way that I truly feel helps break the stigma of women getting a little sexy time in.
Great Expectations
Right at the packaging, this vibrator already feels nicer than anything else I own. The minimalist design lends itself to a more luxury feel while still maintaining the fun with it’s bold blue and white color scheme. Just inside, the Pom is nestled in its plastic packaging cradle (that kinda resembles a vortex when you’re looking at it), looking like the cutest easter Peep I’ve ever seen. I’m genuinely excited. Powering on is pretty simple, just press and hold the button on the back of the toy, and tap the same button to change the patterns. I found adjusting the intensity pretty straight forward as there’s specific buttons on the underside dedicated to ‘up’ and ‘down’. Now, onto the most impressive part of this toy, for me, as someone with grip issues. The Dame Pom has no internal plastic body, meaning it bends and curves to your body depending on the pressure, making it an excellent vibrator if you’re a fan of the old fashion ‘rub it out’ method. The little beak on the tip allows for targeting specific areas with intensity, and the wide body diffuses the vibration some if you enjoy something that covers a little more surface area.Maybe I Just Really Like Cute Things?
I don’t know if I’m just biased because I like adorable things, but honestly this little guy packs quite a punch. I’m usually able to get myself off pretty quickly, but the Pom cut that honestly in half (I don’t time myself but for the sake of this review we’re going with half). I had absolutely no issues with holding it in my hand, since it hugs nicely against your body, and the third intensity on the straight vibration pattern pretty much took care of business! I can totally see this making it into my rotation, especially for those quickies needed in the middle of the day on a Tuesday sometimes.Breaking Down the Design of the Dame Pom
The Dame Pom is ergonomically-shaped, almost like a marshmallow peep, with no internal hard body, allowing it to reach every bend and curve. The full silicone body is velvety to the touch and feels like a luxury toy from moment one.

The Pom is honestly super easy to use, there's only 3 buttons to choose from so it's not overwhelming at all, and it has a magnetic charger, so that's even easier. I do have to say that if you're using it for grinding, it is easy to bump the buttons and accidentally change the settings, but that's not a deal breaker.

For a vibrator, coming in at $95 the Dame Pom is a little pricey, however if you're looking for a company that supports sexual wellness and really cares about their target market, it's honestly worth the price. I've not come across another vibrator that really felt like it was 'for me' before this one, and that feeling is important, at least for me, when purchasing a product.
Sensory Exploration: Evaluating the Dame Pom’s Performance
For its little size, the Dame Pom packs a comfortable but powerful punch! The lowest setting is a wonderful warm up, and the highest setting is still whisper quiet. I haven't ran the battery out, but the user manual says it has a one hour battery life, which is a little on the short side compared to other rechargeable toys, but honestly you'll be finished and ready for a snack before the battery runs out. I'm sure of it. Coming in with a 2 hour charge time, I would definitely say using this toy takes a little bit of planning, but overall it's not a terrible charge time. Maybe play Candy Crush while you're waiting though, your phone will be done charging before the Pom.

I truly cannot say enough about the Dame Pom's packaging. The sleek blue box is so appealing to the eye, and the internal packaging is the same shade of blue, making it a stark and lovely contrast against the pale periwinkle toy hiding inside. The Pom also comes with a storage bag! (If you've read any of my other reviews you know that's my biggest gripe with toys at higher price points). It also comes with a charging cable, and a cute little instruction manual.
Materials and care of the Dame Pom
The Dame Pom is 100% silicone, meaning it is 100% waterproof. Clean up is a breeze with toy cleaner, or some soap and water. Dry it off, put it to bed in it's little bag and you're all set. As with any silicone toy, it is recommended to use water-based lubricants.
Special feature
I think the most special thing about the Pom is its lack of a rigid internal body. It’s hard to find flexible vibrators that are still powerful, and this little guy knocked it out of the park.
